Not good at all. I would not eat here again. Food was not good at all folks. Don't waste your money.

LOVE this place. tasty, reasonable prices. decent service. and the restrooms were clean.

The food was delicious. We had the 2 meat dinner and ordered an extra meet but could have shared without anything extra. We had pulled pork, trip tip, brisket and macaroni and cheese... everything was great! read more

Smoking now has some of the best barbecue in Tucson if you're looking to take your family somewhere good to eat this is the place to go

Normally this is one of my favorite place to eat I've been a way on business and couldn't wait to get back. my wife ordered Brisket and I the Truth tip. some how they both looked the same and Trip tip usually does not come with sauce on it. Meat looked Iike a roast not thin cut slices as usual just over all very bad experience don't no if I want to return if this is the new way they are preparing there meats always be for it was a five star read more

I stumbled upon this place after going to an appointment in the shopping center next door. I have tried other places in Tucson that claim to be BBQ and have not been impressed. Well, I am so glad I came in! I did the sampler meal and oh my god! It was worth every calorie, every penny and the short wait. Cole slaw was made to order, the meats were all extremely flavorful and tender. I cannot wait to come back try the rest of the menu! read more

We found this place on yelp. Thought we would give it a try. The food was awesome . The service was amazing. Had the brisket (yummy), hot links (loved them great flavor )and the tri-tip (sooo good) This place just makes you feel happy! Great vibe. We'll be back when we come back to Tucson for sure !! read more

Omg I'm so happy I had a taste for bbq today. I ordered tri tip with Mac & Cheese and greens, 3 bone slab of ribs with mac and cheese and cornbread. I also ordered some sweet potato pie and they topped it with whipped cream . Everything was tasty and had plenty of flavor... the piece of cornbread was huge but it was yummy. I'm stuffed now and it was very much satisfying. Maybe the only downside is the mac pasta was over cooked but the cheese sauce was flavorful. I'm happy I finally stopped in. It is pricey but well worth it! They give up a nice size helping of the sides. read more

This is the place for excellent BBQ! Visiting Tucson for a few days, stumbled on this place on Yelp. Brisket, tri-tip, pulled pork all outstanding, ribs only slightly less so. Best collards I've ever tasted. Mac+cheese great. The owner is also a really nice guy! They make a good dessert with actual fresh peach cobbler mashed into vanilla ice cream. Come here ASAP! read more

This was the first time visiting this eatery. Unfortunately, part of the order I paid for was not edible and it was burnt. When the order was taken back to the server and she was told what was wrong with the order, the server said nothing and made no offer to do the order over. We left and will not return to this place. It seems like more could have been done to satisfy our eating, but it seems the employees were not interested in correcting the problem. So they have now lost two customers after only one visit. read more

Today I had the 2 item combo with brisket and tri-tip. Everything from the sweet tea to the sides was fantastic. The BBQ was melt in your mouth perfection. The sauce was sweet and spicy goodness. The potato salad was great and the coleslaw was the best I've ever had. It's easy to mess up coleslaw, most folks do. It's usually a mayonnaise soupy mess. This coleslaw was fresh and crisp with just enough dressing. It was really tasty. Can't wait to return and try those onion rings. read more

Wow, this bbq is for real yummy good. Got a brisket and a pulled pork sandwich. Delicious!! Variety of meats. Friendly people. Small eating area, two tables, about 10-12 chairs around facing out towards street. I'll definitely be back... read more

I found this place by luck, i was going to turn around in the parking lot but figured it's pretty hard to mess up BBQ so I figured i will try it. It has been one of my best decisions!! First I saw the prices and said it's going to be a lil bit of food for the price, so being a BBQ joint I thought it would take a long time before it was ready. So before I was even comfortable they were bringing my food out. I was really impressed on the portion size and the taste was delicious, and they have Koolaid as a drink choice. I've gone back and taken other people back with me and so have they. It's definitely an must if you want good BBQ at a decent price. read more

Had a very rare hankering for BBQ today. Looked into Yelps reviews of some restaurants around town that could quell the spicy feeling in my ribs. Found a newer place in town taking the place of an old standby joint called Shari's I believe. I might be wrong with from 25 years of being in the Old Pueblo I kind of remember that place. First thing you see when you enter in a young lady at the cash register and ordering area. Menus are there as well as a black board with the days special. Kind of pricey on the ribs so I went to my old standard a hamburger with Pepper Jack cheese, aoli sauce, tomato and breaded fried onions. All stacked high with some real delicious blend of tastes. It came with the most delicious fries. Hubby order the pulled pork sandwich with a BBQ Sauce. It was a bit dry for my taste because he didn't want the BBQ on the bun itself. So he opted for it on the side. He enjoyed it. It's very small eat in area a couple of booths and some stools for counter eating. However, they do have a pretty large cozy outdoor venue to eat at. It is still too hot so we opted for indoors. I noticed other people ordered the ribs, brisket and looked like they were gobbling it up. They have platters that offer pulled pork, ribs, chicken, bread and condiments. Enjoyed getting away from my comfort zone and trying something a little different. read more

New BBQ place that has a good personality. Been a few times and have enjoyed both the sandwiches and the traditional bbq plates. Good slaw and potato salad for sides. read more

Absolutely delicious barbecue, best I've had in Tucson! So glad we found this little gem! Try the tri-tip, it's superb!! And the spicy bbq sauce is to die for! We will definitely be repeat customers! read more

Great brisket. Having spent some years in the Carolinas I would like to think I know a thing or two about BBQ. If not, my taste buds do. Brisket was on point!! Staff was super friendly, coming around to every table asking how the food was. They had sweet tea too!! You can't be a BBQ place without sweet tea!!! This place speaks to my soul. read more

Absolutely thrilled that there's finally a decent BBQ place in Tucson! Brisket sandwich is to die for! I have to try the turkey next! Excellent KC style BBQ! read more

Unsanitary... I witnessed the owner Pat licking her fingers immediately before bagging my to-go order... I got my money back and left. Needless to say, I won't be back and recommend avoiding this place. read more

Came in today for the first time and was greeted immediately by dude working the front. Customer service sometimes can make or break a place, and this dude is as good as it gets. Top notch! He introduced me to the menu and told me about their rankings in different publications for the different categories of food, and seemed like a legit cool dude. I ordered the special of the day which was the pork platter and it was the business! Cornbread was really moist and good, beans were dank, and the greens were amazing! I could've eaten my fill on the greens alone! Great portions for your buck too. 8 hours after eating and I'm just now getting hungry again. I'll be craving those rib tips and that pulled pork for sure. Spots like this are what it's all about. Created a fan in me today. read more

Best barbecue I've found in Tucson, rivals most of the spots in Texas I've been too, which is pretty rad.

I hated everything I hated the service no one seemed friendly and the sausage links seemed pre chewed gross!!!!! No good flavors, onion rings were mushy and not fully cooked and when I asked for recommendations for kids they said they have nothing for kids and left it at that so i feel bad that I even dropped a dollar read more

Wow! Not the biggest fan of BBQ and it's probably because I've never had good BBQ... until now! Great prices, awesome service, amazing food!! read more

Just tried this place and the food was awesome. I Highly recommend this to anyone. Had the Brisket Sandwich will try the wings next time. In addition to the quality food and value, the people are extremely nice adding to the experience!! read more

I really wanted to love this but the meat was so tough. Pulled pork and brisket were so over cooked. The Mac and cheese and potato salad saved my meal, otherwise I would've been completely disappointed. read more

Great place for soul food and bbq in Tucson! Friendly service and very hospitable!! Come to Smokey Mo next time your craving bbq!!

I was in town visiting family and found this gem. It doesn't look like much from the outside but the wonderful hit you as you walked in the door. There were five in our group and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals which covered a variety of meats across our orders. Great friendly service too! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for BBQ in the Tucson area. read more

This place has class. The guys working here are the best, they work the wood and they give service a 5 star meaning.

Seven hours after eating here, my husband and I are still talking about the smoked wings. OMG! If you are in the Tucson area, make this your first stop! read more

So as you know I like to seek out brand new fresh exciting potentially delicious restaurants, a friend said hey go to Smokey Mo's they are brand new and deliver quality barbecue so I said to myself all right why not I go to one of the greatest next door all the time BKs never fails. I pull into the parking lot and the aroma from kitchen is hitting me in my face as I exit my car thinking yeah this is going to be pretty good.....but then guess what happens.... i get to the register, they tell me they're out of pork and meat and everything else you can think of that is barbecue related... so you know what I said I said well guess I'm out of here and you had your chance. you're telling people you have no more food in your restaurant flushing potential loyal customers down the toilet don't forget your Drano it's going to get clogged #sad&disappointed #NoMoBBQ read more

This is damn good BBQ. The pulled pork is the star, but the ribs are just fine. Yes, they are a Tucson joint and that means heat in the sauce. Coleslaw was just dandy. The chicken was damn near perfect. Nice folks. Great place. The best BBQ in town is Mr. K's. But that takes a drive to Valencia. I'll take this place for my neighborhood BBQ fix. And for the whiners who don't understand BBQ joints...BBQ is and always has been a first come, first serve proposition. Get there early. It's worth it. read more

Gimme some Mo! Upon arriving at this place you immediately start salivating in the parking lot like a rabid coyote upon smelling the wood they use to smoke the meats. I ordered the chicken tacos and the smoked wings. The tacos were good, but a little too untraditional for me. Not my cup of tea. The smoked wings are amazing. Full of that delicious smokey flavor and fall-of-the- bone tender. Cool little spot with very friendly employees. My only suggestion is they need some window shades for the dining area. Too much sun and too hot, but I will definitely be back for some mo! read more

I drive by this place frequently when I'm in my bus. I was intrigued to see another BBQ place and wanted to try. We tried about a week ago and I will be going back soon. We both got pulled pork sandwiches with a side of beans and potato salad. I liked the peppers and jicama in with the pulled pork and the buns were good and soft. The beans were good and the potato salad shocked me at first because it was so yellow but it turned out to be the best potato salad that I've ever had outside of homemade. Good Lord it was so good but there was so much food I had another meal for lunch the next day. read more

It's always pleasant when I can give an outstanding review. This place absolutely deserves one. The barbecue is superb moist and very flavorful and somewhat different than the run-of-the-mill Texas style BBQ. The side dishes are freshly made and also excellent. Prices are reasonable especially considering that the portions are quite large. The restaurant itself is comfortable clean and spacious. Go. read more

Smoky Moe's has some delicious barbecue for the best price you can't go wrong with Smokey Mo's

Smokey Mo's was delicious! The food came out quickly hot and fresh. The brisket is my favorite. The meat is so tender. The peach cobbler ice cream is worth while. It's the best barbecue I've found in Tucson! The company is very welcoming and relatable. All I can say is eat here! read more

Had a brisket sandwich with mac and cheese... both were amazing and very flavorful! Service was very friendly and quick, will definitely be coming back! read more

I adored the friendly greeting we received right away and the walk through of the menu. It was straight forward with enough variation to cater to multiple tastes. My pal and I both ordered brisket sandwiches (served on brioche buns) with mac & cheese. The mac was well seasoned - no need for salt but I added hot sauce out of habit. The brisket was cooked to perfection and was complimented by the tangy bbq sauce and sweet brioche. Excellent and quick service, clean, nice interior, and delicious food. read more
