Loaded Fries - A foam takeout container holds a serving of loaded fries topped with barbecue meat, melted cheese, and gravy. The fries are visible around the edges, with toppings covering most of the surface. The container is placed on a kitchen counter with a white surface, and part of a yellow object and a black appliance are visible in the background.

It was my first time here and I made a 35 minute drive to this food truck, as I heard many great reviews. And the reviews are right....the brisket, pork belly, and loaded fries were amazing. Brisket (My favorite) was super tender, easy to chew, great smokey flavor and melts away. The pork belly was soft and super tender. The loaded fries were great, such a great combo of briskets, along with mac/cheese and fries, it was amazing! The pork ribs were pretty good, but I think the Brisket stole the show! I haven't had any great Brisket like this in a while. I thought every dish came with a small side of hmong pepper, but I forgot to ask and check. If you're into spiciy foods, ask for a side of hmong pepper, which I think would've made this meal even better. Overall, the food truck was great and lives up to the hype! I will be back for more soon!

I have stopped by Smoke Session's food truck a couple of times now - I suspect that's a trend that is going to continue. The food truck can often be found camped out in a vacant lot on White Bear Ave during the week. The daily offerings vary a bit, but so far I can speak to the deliciousness that is their brisket, ribs and Hmong sausage. While not too heavy on the smoke everything has always been really well cooked, tender and tasty. Side dishes aren't anything special, but you can get rice, fries and coleslaw to go with any meal. For BBQ the prices are pretty reasonable, the staff has always been friendly and since they often appear to sell out during the day it appears others seem to agree.

the side of the truck - The image shows a red food truck with the Smoke Session BBQ logo in white, featuring stylized lettering. The truck displays a contact phone number, social media icons for Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, and a message indicating they cater events. The truck is parked outdoors, with part of a vehicle visible on the right side and a cloudy sky overhead.

WOW! This bbq exceeded my expectations! Melt in your mouth brisket, and the pork belly was soo good! Highly highly recommend! They have sticky rice and pepper dipping sauce as well!

I was in the mood for some BBQ and recalled seeing this food truck last time I was in the area. So I got in my car and made my way over to the food truck lot and was glad to see the Smoke Session food truck present. From what I read online they make great brisket and serve up a nice sized beef rib. I ordered a half pound of Brisket and 1 order of Beef Rib. I took my order home with me to share with my parents. The Beef Brisket is so melt in your mouth amazing that I wished I bought a whole pound. My parents also agreed, they loved the brisket as much as I did and were asking where I bought it. Besides being melt in your mouth fantastic there is a lot of good smoky beef flavor. Also I loved how when I opened the box the light glistened off the brisket revealing how moist and juicy it was. The Beef Short Ribs were huge and delicious. They were the definition of fall off the bone good! I could take my plastic fork to the beef rib and the meat would almost flake like well cooked fish. Same as the brisket there was amazing beefy flavor with that well developed essence of smoke. You could taste the care and attention they place on their BBQ and it really shows. The BBQ they make is top notch and I would come back and order more from them especially when I need a brisket fix!

I love that they still offer smash burgers as an option too since they are equally as delicious. The pictures don't do it justice as the fish pieces were very generous! Located in the Rosetown American Legion (address is wrong on this listing) so there are plenty of tables and chairs to sit at. The food is ordered at the window and you are given a pager to let you know when it's ready. The owner is super friendly and we always enjoy our food and our time here!

It's located right next to the baseball field. The place was busy. We ordered 3 burgers. It took 1 1/2 HOURS to get our food. People that ordered after us received their food first. I went and complained. Waitress said the order tickets get mixed up. WHY? She wanted to argue with me. 20 minutes later my son went to complain. Waitress said we are working on it. 20 minutes later my wife complained. Waitress could care less. She got the owner on phone. He was on vacation and not there. Said they were short staffed. Was rude. He refused to refund our money. 15 minutes later we got our burgers. 1 1/2 hour wait to cook a 3-5 minute smash burger. The Am Legion is not associated with Station #6 but gave us free drink tokens to try and help. Will never eat there again or refer anyone else.

I ordered an egg roll and some tempura garlic wings. The food was delicious! It took about 6-8 minutes to be cooked and the staff was friendly and quick! The ONLY reason I put it at 4 stars was due to the excessive garlic chunks on the wings. This was, personally, a lot of garlic for me. If you love garlic, these wings are absolutely perfect! The wings and the other flavors were still really good and I'd love to try their wontons and dumplings. A couple of folks from our group ordered those and they went quickly!! Look them up and see what stop they'll be making next. The bonus is you might even enjoy a tasty beer from a local craft master when they're at another brewery!

The way they do their wontons or "puffs" are much more like a croissant or mini pie. Perfectly crisp, with an amazing creamy filling. The batter used for deep frying has a ton of flavor and is never greasy like what seems to happen for many trucks of this nature. Everything they produce seems to have the perfect crispness as well. Overall, the value of this truck is amazing, pricing is extremely fair for what you get and they've never disappointed (I seek them out at all events they pop up at. This particular time we had them come by for a work lunch).

I had to do a little more research and found out that the restaurant was INSIDE of the gas station. Gas station was a little empty. The sign out side said 'grand reopening' but that was in Nov. Anyways, the "restaurant" is on the left hand side. As this was my first time, I'm not sure if they cook the food per order. I've only been to one other Coras on Payne Ave and they have food in the warmer ready to go. I asked the Son of the owner how long my wings would take. He said 7 minutes. I waited 20 mins but I did order a #13 (20 wings, 6 egg rolls and 12 wontons with a large fried rice). The mother (owner) apologized for the long wait and she offered me 5 more wontons. The wings tasted great! Just how I remember them years ago AND they were larger than normal. The fried rice is usually always bland but I was very disappointed this time. I also asked for soy sauce but she gave me duck sauce instead. Eggrolls were crispy on the outside but soggy on the inside. First batch of cream cheese wontons ok but second batch was over cooked. Over all i give this place 3 stars. Not saying i won't go back cause of a so-so experience. I most definitely love their wings and am always willing to give places a second chance.

Since they opened years ago, I have not tried anything else besides what I listed along with the newly offered lomein. Lomein is okay not great but wings are great!!! Always get half non-spicy and half spicy bone in wings!!! Customer service is alright. Service is fast because its premade in warmer but its always being refilled with a fresh batch. Parking is awkward but its parking. My four star rating is more sole on the wings which I much appreciate eat.

The sides we enjoyed were the potato salad and fries with the comeback sauce. The comeback sauce with the fries is a pro move! Plain Burger - 1/2 pound smoked and seared burger. We did a side of the Street Corn Salad. Petey's Banana Pudding: This is absolutely to die for. I am not a huge dessert person, but this was so good I didn't want to share it. Always get a large!
