Sliders with thyme and salt with bacon, American cheese, and pickles.

A great food truck that caters to parties and events which is how I was introduced. Delicious sliders that had amazing flavor and seasonings. I cannot wait to try them again!

Butcher salt is incredible. I stand by their slider and fries as the best slider and fries of all of Minneapolis. I have never been left disappointed. They are also the best and kindest people I'm pretty sure they know my wife and I by now because we stalk them and follow them all over Minneapolis so we can get our fix whenever possible.

I like the greasy spoon tasty options, like the hashbrowns, with the sliders. They have a friendly crew and their food is done well, even if they are a bit on the pricier side for being a food truck. Good people and good food overall.

Food truck done well. Food trucks in Minneapolis in the summer are a wonderful sight to be seen. Options line the streets and let you get outside to enjoy the sunshine. Walking down from the corner of 7th and Marquette, I was greeted by an extremely friendly host who asked what I wanted and processed my order quickly and efficiently. Although orders are taken using a hand ticket system, they do take credit cards using square and an ipad that allows them to email or text your receipt. The menu is on butcher paper on the side of the truck and changes often. I got the sliders, which were wonderfully juice. The beef had a hint of rosemary inside. I also got the top brown, which are hash browns topped with bacon and pepper jack. Hash browns are ridiculously underrated and it is nice to see them as a regular part of a lunch menu. Drinks are reasonably priced at $1 although sandwiches are a little on the expensive side. Service was on the slow side so make sure you have enough time if you decide to stop by.

Does a late breakfast sounds better than an early lunch? Get your hash browns here.

Sometimes I MISS breakfast... meaning that I LONG FOR and YEARN for breakfast food... not that I'm skipping meals. At these times, Butcher Salt is the perfect food truck. $5.50 Salted Browns (hasbrowns with salt, bacon, rosemary and topped with pepperjack cheese) really hit the spot at these times. The potatoes are browned, as promised, but are delivered more tender than crispy. Rosemary and pepperjack provide the personality. The flavor and crunch of bacon are distant. Butcher Salt also offers "topped hashbrowns" for $3 more. With that, you get onions, peppers, tomatoes and an easy-over egg. I typically choose to invest the $3 elsewhere, such as their "dog of the day" for $5.50 or so. The dogs are 'snappy' and include different toppings on different days. I try to avoid combinations with too much saute going on because it tends to make the lightly-grilled bun soggy. Fabulously friendly staff. short wait.

Absolute favorite Food Truck. I follow it to different festivals. Some of the best Burger sliders I've ever had. The Hash is unbelievable. And their quesadilla is an underrated gem.

They aren't over salted and they are super thin and crunchy. I tried the Philly style sandwich and my partner tried the hot Italian sandwich. We had a grilled veggie sandwich and a build-your-own veggie, both on baguettes. In the world of veggie sandwiches, few managed to get a bullseye quite like this. Each bite was filled with freshly grilled vegetables, and the bread, a warm and soft vessel that accompanies the bright ingredients past the finish line. And the ingredients are top notch - from the broccolini to thick slices of onion. Even their potato chips were in-house. As vegans, food options are usually limited or not well thought out, so love finding a place where all components are top tier. Can't wait to bring others and get their thoughts on the non-veg options.

Although it is mostly popular with a younger, well-to-do crowd, the owners make an effort to contribute to social justice through anti-ICE organizing, free hygeine supplies in gender-neutral bathrooms, etc. It gets super busy during the Saturday brunch hours, so be prepared to wait a bit! We were lucky and got a table quickly but it was very crowded and loud for a bit. They seemed a bit short-staffed, too, although everyone we encountered was still friendly and helpful. The food and drinks are superb! The portions are on the smaller side but they're actually priced accordingly, which is rare these days. We highly enjoyed the waffle and the pork cutie.

Some things can be hit or miss based on personal tastes, but overall the food is crafted skillfully and with care! My favorite breakfast sandwich is the Chefs Special Cutie! I've tried most of them! The Lily Tomlin is also something I would typically love (like a Monte Cristo) but the garlic completes too much with the marmalade. My partner also thoroughly enjoyed the creamy Chai Tea in a ceramic cup! Residential street parking, but not too hard to find a spot.

I…read morereally enjoyed and would recommend the red curry duck stew-- I loved the eggplants and bamboo throughout and the duck meat was very tender. The curry was flavorful but not too salty which I do feel like lots of Asian American/fusion dishes can become around here in Minnesota. The Hmong sausage was well seasoned and grilled and paired well with the sticky rice. The sausage reminds me of Taiwanese sausage but is heftier and more substantial. It was cool to be at the bar and see into the kitchen. Service was very quick overall and the bartenders gave some great suggestions for drinks. Tom kha lemonade - refreshing, somewhere between a tom kha soup and key lime pie almost. Was debating between this and the 3Leches botanical drinks (maybe one of these another time!) Overall would come back again but perhaps only on days when we are okay with splurging it a bit more. ;) The outside was nice but today was a bit too humid so it was nice we were able to get a seat inside. Definitely would be back when in the Cities for their cafe next door when they hopefully have more of their specialty pastries in stock (we eyed the coconut pandan croissant but they were out! Got some of the scallion danishes though excited to try those!)
