It was ok. I have been spoiled by various poutine in the area. This was underwhelming and also not as fun to reheat for consumption later.

Best poutine I've had outside of Montreal. Got my usual triple pork. Been waiting for months for this location to open. Great so far

Firehouse Subs - Exterior

Firehouse Subs

To be clear, this was a take-away order. Not a dine-in. I ordered a Pizza Meatball Sub, with extras…read morethat were Pepper Bacon and Mushrooms. My wife ordered the Beef Brisket and Cheddar sub. It was quick, the portions (we ordered large) were incredibly generous, my wife could only eat half - so now she has 2 meals for the price of one! In addition, I asked for an extra pickle and got 3. A very small, but thoughtful gesture. The price is a bit higher than somewhere like a Subway, or Mr. Sub, but is more comparable to Quizno's. Also like Quizno's there's 3 sizes - small, regular and large. What sets Firehouse apart for me, is the quality. This isn't the first time I've eaten there, but the quality of both of our subs compelled me to share the experience. The pepperoni were enormous. The meatballs and mushrooms filled out a sub so large I needed to get a plate! The cheese and sauce were so flavourful I just couldn't put it down until I was done. If you love subs and don't mind paying a little more for a lot more in quality, I highly recommend giving this place a try. You won't regret it.

4 to a 4.5 Can I…read morejust first start by saying I really underestimated a medium, I was so full, I almost threw up eating the last bite. Yes, that's TMI but that's how full I was lol. I'm also probably just a weakling and shouldn't have forced myself to eat all that. Anyways, I have only heard good things about firehouse subs forever. Surprisingly, my bf has tried it before I have and he too raves about them. I finally had a chance to try a few bites from my friends' subs as they had ordered some through skip the dishes. I was blown away. I tried a few bites of the Italian and the Steak and Cheese and it was sooooo good. Also, for a bootleg Philly cheesesteak, which I know they do not claim to be, it was pretty good!! So a week later I was super craving my own and could not stop thinking about it. Thankfully for me, there's one an 8 minute drive away. Since I had such a good experience with the Italian that's what I decided to order. A medium. Also I had no idea you could add certain extra toppings at no fee, until my gf started ordering them lol next time. Anyways, somehow my friend's sub last week tasted so much better and it was delivery! Lol. Maybe it's because I got whole wheat. I need to make note to stick to white bread next time. The sub was still super tasty, packed with meat and fresh ingredients. I love their buns. They're the perfect softness. I hate buns that are hard and hurt my gums. Ya I'm sounding hella old. I'm super impressed with these subs and it's literally just a sub but I find myself craving them all the time! I can't wait to try all the flavours!

Great food and amazing service!…read more My in-laws wanted to go here, as they remembered Church's chicken being a part of Harvey's many years ago. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted by a super friendly cashier. She asked us if it was our first time here, and welcomed us back when we explained we had gone here years ago. We tried the chicken, gravy, fries, biscuits, onion rings and poppers. Every single thing we ordered was crispy, fresh and delicious. The poppers were sooooo good, better than ones you can get at dine in restaurants. The gravy was Soo good, almost like old school KFC gravy (before it mysteriously changed). The fries were crinkle cut and super crispy! The chick en was super crispy, fresh and juicy. This place is definitely one of the best for fried chicken. On top of the great food, the service was impeccable. I wish I knew the name of the cashier, but she was a lady with blonde hair and glasses. She was super friendly, welcoming and patient as we took out time to go over the menu. She told us we should go online before our next visit because there are lots of great coupons there. The customer service in combination with the great food makes this place stand out! Highly recommend this place! Will definitely be back.

The megabites breading was light (some might call it bland). I liked that it wasn't very greasy. The chicken tasted great with the spicy mayo dipping sauce. The fries and jalepeno bombers were good as well. My sis in law said the 4 piece was okay. Combos come with a biscuit. I love the glaze they put over the biscuit. It's ur average fried chicken place. Nothing out of the ordinary.
