    Veggie burger.
    John D.

Cash only. Burgers are made to order. Once you place your order, your burger is cooked then you tell 'em what you want as your toppings. I had a veggie burger with everything on it. It definitely had a home made feel to it. 4/5 due to cash only.

Wanted to try this burger place for a long time and I'm glad I finally did. The service was very friendly and helped me order the most popular items on the menu. Burger- their burger was charcoal broiled and you could taste the unique flavour immediately as you bite into the burger. They had a variety of toppings as well and I highly recommend getting the caramelized onions; such a great combination with the charcoal flavour! Poutine- a huge portion for what I paid for. Fries were made fresh and the gravy complimented the cheese. The only downside is that they did not use cheese curds but overall the flavours meshed very well together. Highly recommend coming here for the charcoal broiled burgers and I will definitely be back!

We had the bacon burger, double banquet burger, jumbo hot dog, and fries and onion rings combo. It was fantastic! Big portions, so come hungry. Personally, don't forget to ask for salt (I like my fries saltier) . Note: it is cash only.

Poutine. Fries were unique (in a good way). Not quite like your usual soft fries. Had some nice crisp to them.

Really nice spot for some fast-food priced food that tastes, well, much better than fast food. Taste wasn't out of this world or anything, but very good. Definitely going to come again. It's also open till 4am, which is awesome. Couple notes: - they only accept cash - there's nowhere to sit indoors - it can get crowded depending on the day/time

Hello fellow foodies, today I bring you a review that is long overdue, I been eating at this place for at least the last 15 years or so ,  this place is as old as Brampton and a real landmark , been around since I was a teenager.  This place is just like Johnnys in Scarborough but the Brampton version same type of greasy late night food you crave after a hangover or after a club night or party .They  been  around serving the community  forever  since  1965  apparently. If you're looking for quality this is not the place for you, if you looking for fancy  this is also not for you , but if you're looking for a quick late  night drive in or some great  hungover food then this  is the place.  They have very large portion sizes, specially their fries /poutines and onion rings , There burgers are not small about  average size frozen patties thrown on the char-broil . If you're looking for that burger that tastes exactly like the frozen patties you throw on your home BBQ then Sonny's are identical taste and flavor. The serve hotdogs, souvlaki, fish and chips, pitas and steak sandwiches which I opted for today with some grilled onions and  BBQ sauce. Their prices however are very reasonable and have always been! Bonus points for that. 4/5  I  am  giving  this place a  very generous rating only because they  deserve it being such a Brampton landmark, I mean the quality of their ingredients are average at best probably 2.5/5 in reality, nothing extraordinaire, meaning they use frozen  meats  poor  quality products for the most part not  all etc ...Their toppings however have always been fresh in my experience no complaints there,  but you have to give them credit for having great  prices and great  greasy late-night  drive-in  food since 1965, and some of their items are actually pretty good ,  specially their fresh cut fries/poutine/onion rings and burgers  are decent and you could never go wrong with their souvlaki if you have that late night craving. My sandwich today  was decent a  very thin cut steak  grilled  nicely ,  definitely had the flame grilled flavor the grilled onions  were really nice , the bun  is that gluey type sticky not so great at all  same one they  use on their burgers , but edible under rare circumstances, lol. I have had probably everything on the menu at the is place over the years, I don't think I ever had a complaint  but I was also not impressed either it's just  that kinda food , its good  at the right moment and that's about all you're going to get. Service 5/5 I have been to this place, easily over 50  times in the past years and I can't recall a moment even during a late night rush were service was not great , fast and friendly .

I love sonnys poutine! I order it whenever I get the chance. Although it's not the more traditional cheese curds it's shredded cheese it's honestly so good I don't even care. The portions are huge and the prices are even better. The poutine is so huge it's filling enough to be a whole meal.

I Had the Banquet burger and Onion rings. Excellent for the price and what I was getting. I asked for a homemade and the server was quite honest by saying that it was a frozen patty. I would definitely come back. Service was friendly and the restaurant was clean. Seating available only outside.

4 to a 4.5 Can I…read morejust first start by saying I really underestimated a medium, I was so full, I almost threw up eating the last bite. Yes, that's TMI but that's how full I was lol. I'm also probably just a weakling and shouldn't have forced myself to eat all that. Anyways, I have only heard good things about firehouse subs forever. Surprisingly, my bf has tried it before I have and he too raves about them. I finally had a chance to try a few bites from my friends' subs as they had ordered some through skip the dishes. I was blown away. I tried a few bites of the Italian and the Steak and Cheese and it was sooooo good. Also, for a bootleg Philly cheesesteak, which I know they do not claim to be, it was pretty good!! So a week later I was super craving my own and could not stop thinking about it. Thankfully for me, there's one an 8 minute drive away. Since I had such a good experience with the Italian that's what I decided to order. A medium. Also I had no idea you could add certain extra toppings at no fee, until my gf started ordering them lol next time. Anyways, somehow my friend's sub last week tasted so much better and it was delivery! Lol. Maybe it's because I got whole wheat. I need to make note to stick to white bread next time. The sub was still super tasty, packed with meat and fresh ingredients. I love their buns. They're the perfect softness. I hate buns that are hard and hurt my gums. Ya I'm sounding hella old. I'm super impressed with these subs and it's literally just a sub but I find myself craving them all the time! I can't wait to try all the flavours!

Hype is great to generate buzz, but it can also lead to unrealistic expectations. I'm happy to report that Firehouse has completely met and even surpassed my high expectations. I'd heard great things about their meatball sub, so I went with that on my first visit. I had a couple years as a teenager loving meatball subs at Subway, but have since largely moved on due the sub-par meat quality. The meatball sub here is EXACTLY what you would look for in a proper meatball sub. The meat quality is top notch, and that along with the sauce really brings out a great homemade feel. And of course with a sandwich, you can't overlook the importance of the bun and Firehouse has knocked it out of the park in that regard. It should be noted that all subs are toasted here. They also ensure it's toasted thoroughly so it will take a few minutes for your sub to be finished. Beyond that, they only have a handful of toppings to choose from, and ones that are conducive for a toasted sub - so no lettuce, tomato and others. There are still a few others however, such as bell peppers, jalapenos and more. I wanted to wait for another visit before I gave my review since a meatball sub could be a bit easier for a toasted sub place to pull off. I came in today and ordered the beef brisket sandwich. They describe it as smoked for 16 hours, though obviously it wouldn't be the same as a brisket from a BBQ joint. The brisket is deli-style meat, but their fridge is on full display and you can see that it arrives whole, which means they would slice it fresh. Beyond that, once I received my sandwich and began to eat, it's clear that it's about the highest quality deli meat available. It was apparent from the look and the taste, and even the smoked quality was evident. I brought a co-worker on this visit and she absolutely loved her steak and cheese sandwich. It's all about the quality of the ingredients here which makes the sandwiches great. They are also well-staffed here to manage many customers and they're super-friendly. I'm not sure how much I buy into the firehouse theme or even the fundraising/philanthropy aspect of the business - but when the food is this good it doesn't even matter.

Hello foodies out there I been hearing all the hype on Instagram foodies posting pictures and…read morereviews on this place for a while now, so it was time I stopped in and seen what all the hype was about. Munchers is located just off McLaughlin Rd. in a small older plaza on Flowertown Avenue. It's easy to find with plenty of parking. The restaurant is small looks like takeout only at this point but clean with very clear menus on the wall. They serve what I would call a very much modernized fast food Indian-fusion cuisine. Its Indian food with an American fusion twist to it.  They have some unique burgers, cheese melt sandwiches, poutines and of course there rice bowls all made with an Indian flavor's and spices. I decided to try two of their bowls, the Tandoori chicken Rice Bowl and the Shrimp Rice Bowl, there chicken burgers look great also but that will be for next time if I am back. Food : for the Tandoori Bowl I would have to say it was a 4/5 as far as appearance and taste , but it was a relatively small portion size so they could have been a little more generous with filling the bowl with more rice. The chicken is Tandoori marinated chicken is cubed and grilled and then placed over their rice. With two sauces one is a tandoori sauce very flavorful and not spicy at all, the other is a white cream sauce or aioli of sort, possibly a yogurt sauce, they combine well and go perfect with the chicken and rice. The rice is also very good well-seasoned, you can really taste the cumin and the cinnamon, just very tasty rice. The rice and the tandoori sauce they put over the chicken are defiantly the stars in this dish. It also comes with pickled onions that are really tasty also, really enjoyed them wish there was more in the dish, you also get the choice of a very small amount of coleslaw or green salad with the dish. The coleslaw was a disaster just horrible not seasoning and no flavor just plain cut with nothing on it and almost seemed it was cooked not fresh not crunch it, it was soft and wilted like it had been boiled, horrible if you get this opt-out of the coleslaw option not good at all. The Shrimp Bowl 4/5 as well the shrimp was well cooked very well-seasoned very spicy with a tiny kick to it, again the same issue just a small portion if you're a big eater you're going to need two of these bowls they are stingy with their portion sizes at least with bowls, The rice again was amazing same as above, also came with that horrible coleslaw not recommended at all as a side option. Service 2/5 The food overall was great however their downfall is their service just horrible, first considering I was the only person there at about 2 pm after the lunch rush, it took them 34 minutes to prepare my food, with one other person walking in about 10 minutes after me. You place your order then they text you when the order is ready , after placing my order at the counter girl told me it would be 15 minutes, 20 minutes later I did not receive text so I walked in to check the status of my food and she told me it would be another 10 minutes in actuality ended up being another 14 minutes. Just pathetic service, I guess they don't have a clue what under promise over deliver means. The staff was not exactly friendly either, it's a shame great food horrible customer service, need major improvement, not sure I will be back having to wait well over 30 minutes for fast food takeout My recommendation is call-in your order and don't show up early if you want your food on time.

The walls have bright paintings everywhere, which adds a fun touch, and the whole place feels really clean, organized, and well kept. Even though it was packed when I went, everything still felt under control and not chaotic at all. The service was really efficient, especially considering how busy it was. The staff moved quickly, orders came out at a good pace, and everything was handled smoothly. As for the food, I got the one tender and one slider meal. The food was good, but I wouldn't say it fully lives up to the hype, especially considering how much amazing food we have in the GTA. Still, it was definitely decent. The tenders were crispy and well seasoned, and the fries were great. I love crinkle-cut fries, so those were a win for me, super crunchy and cooked well. The slider had the same seasoning as the tender and was still really tasty. I loved the addition of the pickles and coleslaw, they balanced everything out nicely. Their sauce was fine, but nothing crazy. I'd compare it to Chick fil A's sauce, just a bit less tangy. One thing I really liked was how the food was served. The big boxes look nice, everything is organized, and it honestly feels a little fancy, which I appreciated. Pricewise, I do think it's overpriced for what you get. I paid around $22 for the meal and it didn't even come with a drink, which felt a bit steep considering the portion size. That said, the quality is definitely top tier, you can tell they use good ingredients. Overall, it's not bad at all. I'd come back, but it's not something I heavily crave. For me, it's around a 7.5/10.

This was a fail in my book. The Mac & cheese tasted almost as if it came out of a box. My girlfriend had gotten fries with her meal and they weren't salted at all. The Texas toast or square bread that comes with the meal was soggy from the chicken resting in it and the list kind of goes on. The only positive I have was the sauce if I'm being honest. Together for two Dave's #3, two drinks and upgraded fries, we spent $55 bucks. Would I say it was worth it, absolutely not. I've been to a lot of other chicken spots in the GTA as well as America and they pass Dave's by a lot.
