The food was delicious and our server Andrew really hooked us up with really good deals!! Amazing service!!

Smokin margarita was smoking and tasty. Good services and staff, opening Early for the group. Chiefs flags were no good, but otherwise good ambiance. read more

Ivan is a very good person very knowledgeable, respectful and the bartender MiriAm and the rest of the crew are awesome

Best mac and cheese I have had, the base flavor is amazing! I ordered a half rack of ribs and they did not fall off the bone and were not tender. But the ribs and their house made sauces are flavorful. Not sure if it matters what time you come if they are more fresh or not. We ate around 9:00 pm and service was very good. read more

Came here for Sunday brunch last week. It was awesome! The atmosphere was laid back and inviting. Our server Ryan was great and upbeat. He explained how the brunch worked and checked on us often. We never had empty glass or plates. For $19 you can choose an entrée (from a list of about 5) and have unlimited "sides." The side included monkey bread, bacon, sausage, pancakes, hashbrown casserole, and fruit. If the sides don't quite tickle your fancy or you're just feeling super hungry, you can order an additional entrée. For an additional $16 you can have bottomless brunch drinks too! We started with drinks and monkey bread. I ordered a mimosa with pineapple juice and bae got a bloody mary, sans pork, which also comes with a Miller Highlife pony. The mimosa was an adult pour and the juice came on the side so I could choose how much I wanted. The perfect way to serve mimosas! Idk why any place would serve them any different? The monkey bread was luxurious with its flaky and buttery crust in a cast iron skillet. It was surprisingly not too sweet. For entrées, I got the pulled pork benedict and he got the brisket hash and a veggie omelette. The eggs on my benedict were jammy but not runny like I like so I skipped them. The pulled pork was good and I added their spicy BBQ sauce even though it came with a chipotle hollandaise. It said chipotle but my guess is they just used the adobo sauce that the peppers come in rather than any peppers because it was very meh. Everything else was great! I got my fill on the fluffy pancakes, yummy hashbrowns and tons of bacon. I did end up ordering some scrambled eggs later in the meal too. All in all nice experience and would absolutely come again. read more

10/10 Bloody is outstanding, great pimento cheese Brunch is great and the regular menu as well! read more

Tasty spot with a great value in the way of all you can eat brunch. The all you can eat brunch allows you to rotate through the entree options. The service was prompt and the food was delivered quickly. The daddy-o was packed with flavor and the coleslaw had a spice kick. Recommended for brunch time. Only draw back was the tight seating- with all the plates coming it turned into a juggling act at times. read more

Fantastic place for a Tuesday night! Only people here but Roman absolutely took fantastic care of us! If you need some barbecue in a hurry this is the place! read more

The meal was neither bad nor good.. if that make sense. I would say the Nachos with burnt ends was the best entre order at the table. The brisket didn't seem to have that great of a crust. Flavor was a little on the subtle side. The meal would probably have held more weight with the table had the ceiling not been leaking water on us the entire meal. read more

Great spot to hang out before or after a Cubs game. Off season is a great spot as well the seasonal decor is welcoming and as warm as the burnt ends! read more

Ordered via delivery. Ribs, brisket, baked beans and cornbread. The ribs had a good flavor but a little dry. Brisket was tender, with a little fat. The baked beans with meat (not sure if pork) were very good. The cornbread had an amazing flavor but was dry. I'll give them another try. read more

Just got into town and needed some good Midwest meat. This place did not disappoint. Ribs, brisket and burnt ends were stellar, and their awesome selection of sauces were all delicious. I liked the Blazin' Hot and also the small bottle of Hot sauce. So good! My bartender, Leah, was friendly, knowledgable, and helpful. Lots of local beers and a good selection of whiskeys. Would have liked to see a good sipping rum, but so be it. Get this: when showing football games, they turn on the sound of the game, but during the commercials, they manually switch over to cool music. Such a labor of love! read more

Atmosphere is perfect, food was hearty and delicious 10/10 would recommend. also Andrew was a great server too.

Great food, vibes, and server. Very attentive. Food came out quick and was bottomless. Will return!

Love this spot!!! We come all the time all food is good and the service is great! Dog friendly too

We booked a table for a late lunch since they had a restaurant week special. However, after being seated at the table, our waitress told us they aren't doing it anymore as it's a brunch menu. However, on the Restaurant Week website, it clearly states lunch. They said we could wait until it was 3pm to do the dinner option. If you're interested in doing the restaurant week special, I advise you call them ahead of time. We ended up ordering the burnt ends sandwich and a ribs platter. The burnt ends sandwich was okay, a little too salty. However, the ribs were dry. Their sweet potato fries were quite good as was the mac and cheese. read more

As someone who works in hospitality, I NEVER leave negative reviews for restaurants, because I know there's always a multitude of factors that can affect a service. However, this was quite literally the most pitiful plate of food I've ever had in my life. My geriatric grandmother could've made a better brisket out of a crock pot. The texture of the pulled pork was as if they had put it into a dehydrator for 8 hours before serving it. No amount of sauce could've saved it. The greens tasted like they were cooked in water they got from a puddle out back by the dumpster. Mac & cheese is just melted velveeta over dollar general elbow noodles. Not a single employee in the building looked as if they had an ounce of hustle in them. The owners of this establishment ought to be ashamed of themselves. read more

Another Division St restaurant that will have you coming back for second helpings. I came here for Father's Day dinner at 6:00 with a reservation, or else the wait time for two people was 40 min. A smaller Summer worthy patio!! I pictured myself, longingly, on the patio with a cocktail in hand consuming an endless brunch, but that's a review for another time. Instead we waited ONE HOUR 15 minutes for the Big City Eats platter, choice of two ribs (we did babyback because it has less fat, and then I forgot which other one), half chicken, 2 smoked meats (brisket and pulled pork), and three sides (mac and cheese, cole slaw, and sweet potato fries). So what did we do to kill the time? Joke that we could have smoked our own meats in that time. Sympathized with our apologetic server. Watched tv on one of many flatscreen TVs. People watched. Relaxed. Listened to some good ol' country music. Was it worth the wait? Eh. It was delicious BBQ. Would I wait that long again? No. It was probably a long wait because it was Father's Day. The pulled pork and chicken was my favorite; so tender and fell apart at the touch of a fork. My least favorite was the brisket because it was tasteless and dry. The sides came in smaller portions but were still a-okay. Warning for people who do not care for cilantro: the cole slaw is loaded with it! I enjoyed it, though! I will most definitely be coming back here to try out the brunch!! Endless is the only Brunch I want! read more

Came here to have dinner with my husband before a concert at Wrigley. My husband was in the mood for ribs, I'm not the biggest fan. We shared the platter which was enough for both of us. The sauces are no good. They need to fix that ASAP. The only thing I loved was the corn bread. I even ordered seconds. They have a good cider selection. Place is okay if you're hungry, they have great service. read more

Ainsley was an amazing server!! And the food and drinks were great!:) Would recommend to anybody!

I love barbecue, specifically brisket! One of the best parts about living in Wicker Park now is that I can walk to Smoke Daddy. They have great offerings for dogs as well and are super dog friendly! My dog Pancake loved the pig ears she got here. I love their brisket, though my boyfriend and I found their Mac and cheese slightly too liquidy. I can't wait to keep trying different things on their menu such as the wings or corn bread. read more

Order totally messed up and no effort to fix. I feel ripped off... It was missing items and it was already too expensive.

Service was great. I personally like brisket and pulled pork with a smokier flavor. The brisket was not falling apart. I would go back.

A go to neutral spot for my friends sports needs. But the food always hits. Beer, BBQ, yay.

We stopped by Smoke Daddy's because it was recommended by locals. We really enjoyed the cornbread and smoked meat at this restaurant. The sides were average overall. I ordered greens and they lacked flavor, we're really big pieces and not chopped up at all! Our service was great but very slow. There was only one server and it got busy after we arrived . The outdoor patio was very nice and clean . read more

Amazing server. They had good live music playing and the sauce is the boss!!!!! Boosssssssss

Definitely a late review, but came here late Jan. The food was great. My buddy lives in the area and took me here. We ordered the smoked meat sandwich and I had the additional burnt ends. Wow oh wow. Were they fantastic. I didn't know Chicago can do BBQ well like that, but you can tell it's KC inspired. Overall, good atmosphere and service. The place wasn't very busy on this cold January night. The whole place smelled of wonderful barbecued smoked meat. Support your local businesses! Give yourself some wonderful BBQ treat read more

Smoke Daddy is the spot. I love sitting outside or at the bar here. All the bartenders are very friendly. Service is usually pretty good. All of the sides I've had are pretty tasty, but if I could only choose one it would be dem FRIES. The fries with a gang of Mustard Q and Blazin' HOT sauce. Those fries will make you feel loved. Those fries will cure all ailments. Get the fries. To drink, I do like the Bloody Mary with jalapeño tequila, but obvi it's a bbq spot so like be cautious because a Bloody Maria + some burnt ends nachos + fries WILL have you sleeping before 2pm. However, a Bloody Maria + a Wrightwood Salad + some of your bf's fries will have you ready for the day. If it's not a brunch move, then I love the smokin' rita, but I'm not gonna lie I get that with the jalapeño tequila instead of the mezcal because ya girl likes that jalapeño tequila. I would highly recommend Smoke Daddy for a lunch or even brunch. Also, I once ran into Charles Barkley here so it's basically a celebrity hotspot. read more

The food is good and have been going to Smoke Daddy for a long time. But, how come anytime I try to order from here they are closed or I cannot make an order for pick up for some odd reason. More specifically the Wrigleyville location. (I should mention that I normally order around 7:30/8:00 PM.) Can someone make this make sense?. read more

Great atmosphere Very friendly and accommodating bar staff! Great spot for brunch, Get the topo loco it was awesome.

Smoke Daddy is a local neighborhood barbecue joint with great outdoor seating and frequent live blues music that make for a fun and entertaining dining experience. Unfortunately, in the three times I've eaten here the food has fallen a bit flat. Here is an overview of our most recent carry out order: Wings: this was a reorder because we liked the wings last time we had them. They had a nice smoky flavor but were dry. Even sadder, the container of sauce (which by the way is delicious and makes the wings) was filled only half full, not nearly enough to use on all wings. Carolina pulled pork sandwich: the pulled pork is tasty for sure. Unfortunately, again with portions - we ordered a side of Cole slaw in addition to a Carolina style sandwich (one with Cole slaw on it). The only slaw received is pictured - a half full container of Cole slaw that after adding to the sandwich left literally only two bites of Cole slaw for my fiancé and I. To clarify, that would be one bite each. Sweet potato fries: great flavor, a little soggy and cold despite being picked up on time. Go for the vibes, but don't expect epic portions or fine dining. We probably won't order carry out again for reasons stated above, but since it's just around the corner we will stop in for the vibe every now and then. read more

This place has the best food in Chicago! 10/10 recommend! The barbecue is phenomenal, the service is great!

The ambiance is beautiful. They had a great live blues singer! I came and ordered take out...Food was so disappointing! I picked up on time and literally drove 5 mins to my house. However, my food is cold!! I know most things aren't made to order so that was not the expectation but hot food was... as you can see the cheese is already hardened and the brisket is dry! The 2 stars represent the mac and cheese having flavor & the chicken being juicy. I enjoyed the greens only! For the amount I paid for the portion received I expected to get great food. Being in the neighborhood, I was hoping I found a BBQ gem! read more
