    Garlic butter Parm ribs $17.

Went here before a concert. We're greeted really friendly and sat right away. I will say our service was awesome it's one of the only reasons I would go back. Our portions were weird. My friend ordered the beef brisket it was 4 pieces of brisket on a metal tray. No side not even a slaw. The beef brisket was also not very well smoked. No smoke ring, no crust (if you smoke you know). I had the garlic Parm ribs and they were good but I think they would be better shared. I will say we didn't wait to be asked for another round. I did wait with my empty glass but she was already on here way with another The atmosphere is what you would think before a 50 cent concert they did have good tunes playing kind of getting you hyped. I will say I miss the video games denizen hall or when they had a stage. Comparable to rogers 2 beers and the ribs $34. To 2 slices of pizza,1 beer,1pop $44

This place must be new, I've lived in YEG for 40 years and always thought this was a shanty corner of town. I have been gladly schooled today and learned that this is not the case! My nursing buddy recommended this venue since there was a HCW promotion for January 2022 posted on their Instagram. Parking is standard for downtown, we went on a non-game night on Sunday evening which means free street parking. This place looks unassuming on the outside, but once you enter, it can easily compete with the neighbouring restaurants on the same strip. Decor is rustic but classy modern, dimly lit but clean and not overcrowded and spaced well between parties. There's also coat hangers for your coats if your table is close to a column or wall or even right underneath the bar counter at your seat. There's also USB adapters under the bar counter seating too... very well designed in my opinion. Service was great too! You can make advance reservations online via open table app. And vaccine QR codes and ID are inspected upon entry. The servers were lovely and very attentive, they were even able to accommodate re-seating us to a booth since I was having trouble balancing on a barstool with all my winter gear and purse on my lap. I believe we even met the manager/owner who noted to have worked with food distribution with Covenant health prior to this business. I'm glad he took the leap with this restaurant bar because the food is amazing here! Didn't take long for the food to arrive either and the portions are well matched to the prices. I had a meat wagon with lemon pie and it was bliss! I couldn't finish the main course (cuz 1lb is actually a lot of meat) also each meat in the sandwich was very distinct in flavour- it was like an all in one meat sampler and perfectly cooked as well! Their fries were something absolutely new to me, they almost looked like mini churros and were very crispy but soft on the inside and nicely seasoned. Thank goodness they have takeout boxes for leftovers so I had room to eat dessert. I also tried the beignets with the Dulce de leche sauce which was hot & fresh and so delicious. The lemon pie was also a lighter & refreshing to balance all the heavy meat. All in all, I had a great time with amazing food and I'm happy this local gem was introduced to me. I'd definitely come back here for a repeat hang out after work or a date night.

Drinks are top notch. Made with care and very high end. Food spectacular. Staff even better (Ty ) they are clearly passionate about the success of this business and it shows in their hard work.

It was just ok. Food tasted ok but the portion sizes were very small. Not worth the price.

I liked it, It made it more intimanite. Menu varies depending on the season. But I am sure that everyone will find something they would like. We chose a few things raw elk with fried capers, shallots & blueberries, the seared scallops with celeriac puree, capers, garlic and butter, saskatoon berry brisket with beef and carmelized onion on bannock, and the pappardelle rabbit ragu with parmigian reggiano . We also took two cockails which was delicous. Service was prompt and friendly. Food was delicious. The stand out was the raw elk. Delicous combination of thing that do a party in you mouth. I would go back just for that . The only thing that I didn't enjoy was the brisket. Way too sweet for me. Be warned it is pricey. Expect to empty your pocket book.

The menu is somewhat seasonal and they were happy to answer all our questions and to provide suggestions where needed. We mostly had some appetizers and we'd like to come back to try more dishes. The seasonal salad had apples and walnuts and was super hearty and delicious. The scallops and the sauce were so tender and creamy, the bison tartare was really nice too. It was similar to a steak tartare with its own twist. If you enjoy steak tartare you will love this. We will definitely be back! Great new local restaurant to support!

Our server was friendly and fun. And she totally matched the atmosphere. Food menu is limited. I would like to see a few more selections particulary since they get their meat from Smoke next door. I went with the Zombie which was a flippin 4 oz. It was delicious. And well worth the price. To eat we tried the burnt ends, the fries, and the mac and cheese. Food came out slower than typical but it was a good use of our time to enjoy the space and our drinks. Food was good. For sure the burnt ends were the star of the show. But the mac and cheese was good and creamy and the fries were well flavoured and plentiful. Sliders were well constructed. come here for amazing drinks and snacks! And the food is an added bonus.

Searching for someplace to go for a girls night out on the town? Look no further than Dolly's…read moreCocktail Bar! Slap on your sparkly dress and a pair of heels (or wear whatever the heck you want) and make your way to Downtown's pink palace! You'll remember this location as the former home of Fu's Repair Shop and Prairie Fish & Chips before that. The Edmonton Food Faves We Crave 2024 list named Dolly's as Favourite Patio and the pictures that I've seen of the back terrace look completely adorable, complete with colourful lanterns. Unfortunately, my visit was in October and it wasn't quite patio weather anymore. I turned up on a Friday evening with one of my best girlfriends in tow and we were ready for the biggest Barbiecore night of our lives! Imagine our surprise when we discovered that Dolly's had been transformed into the "Black Lagoon" for the month of October in the spirit of Halloween. (I probably should have looked into this in advance but I was unaware!) I was expecting Cyndi Lauper and Aqua but instead I got Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson. The whole restaurant was draped in the most spider webs that I've ever seen. There were giant spiders hanging from the ceiling and spooky skeletons in every corner. It was a vibe, that's for sure!! But certainly not the one that I had been anticipating. Bits of pink paint and sparkly chandeliers peeked through in some areas and the neon "Dolly's" sign on the wall allowed me to imagine what the Barbie dreamhouse-esque space normally looks like just a little bit. Otherwise, Dolly's was fully transformed into the moody Black Lagoon. I should've worn fishnets instead of glitter. The servers were all very friendly and we were quickly seated at a comfortable table along the hot pink velour banquette. Dolly's invites you to sip, snack, and stay in their minor-free glamorous escape. The house cocktails and mocktails are a major part of the experience (it is a cocktail bar after all) and I was excited to get a cute pink beverage into my hand! There was also a menu of Black Lagoon-themed cocktails that were all served in fun tiki-style vessels. This menu included themed foods as well. I personally had my eye on the Pink Palace Royale cocktail which I saw on the menu online. Made with a special collab gin with Strathcona Spirits and Licor 43 (one of my favourite liqueurs), this sounded like everything that I wanted in a cocktail and more! Other drinks had names like Dolly's Dreamhouse, Bubbilicious, and the house shot was called the Bend & Snap - exactly the sort of drinks that I had come for! However, I was sorely disappointed when the server told me that the drink I wanted was no longer on the menu. It seemed that I could only order a Halloween beverage. I fumbled to find anything that Elle Woods would approve of and settled on a mocktail called Pretty in Pink (Strawberry, cream of coconut, lime, soda, mint - $9.00) and the server suggested that the bar could add vanilla vodka to turn it into a proper cocktail. I agreed. Honestly, I was just relieved to get something pink onto the table! I enjoyed this icy-fresh cocktail a lot and it delivered most of what I had been hoping for. The sweetness of the strawberry and coconut was really fun! The lime and mint added a mojito flair. A very cute and well-composed beverage but I was sad that most of the girly drinks didn't seem to be available. When it comes to eats at Dolly's the food is what you would expect to see at a party, with the idea of sharing at the heart. I loved the idea of Dolly's Funhouse (which is an epic plate of nachos), and dishes like wings, tacos, and mac & cheese. However, the dish to order at Dolly's has gotta be the Girl Dinner (Truffle tots, chickie tendies, aji verde, aji rocoto, pineapple sweet & sour, Dolly's salad - $50.00 for two). It's a must-share so grab your girlies and prepare to chow down! They had me at tots. The Girl Dinner platter arrived looking extremely appetizing and somehow exactly what I wanted to be eating in a place that looked like this. The portion was exactly right for two people and I loved the pretty floral printed plates that we were given to dish our tots and tendies onto. As previously mentioned, I enjoy a tot. (I have a suspicion that Napoleon Dynamite really imprinted on me.) But truffle tots? Now that's just a home run! Topped with sea salt, truffle oil, and parmesan cheese, these golden potato nuggets were fried to perfection with a crispy outside and a soft and fluffy inside. I could have eaten them all. They were awesome to dunk into each of the sauces and when the rest of the food was gone we were still popping tots into our mouths. We couldn't even finish them all because the portion was so generous! The star of the meal were the chickie tendies; two giant chicken tenders, of which we each got our own. I loved this chicken! The batter was really flavourful and unique, and oh so crispy-crunchy. The chicken within was very tender and juicy, proving that an elevated chicke
