    Crispy pork

I've been dying to try our this new concept since it opened. It's located right next to the Common and it is such a cute place. Reservations are highly recommended as the space has limited seating. We entered and there is a cute vignette area to take some cute photos. Once you enter into the restaurant everything is pink!! The decor, the furniture, the lighting, everything is a cheery pink hue and the perfect spot for girls night. The menu names are in line with the theme and have some really fun names like the Bend & Snap, Dolly's Dream House, and Live, Laugh, Lavender. We started off with the house signature shot which is the Bend & Snap. It was very refreshing and delicious. Could barely taste any alcohol sensations so it went down very smoothly. It also comes in cute glasses too. For cocktails I tried the Dolly's Dream House which is made with mezcal. I personally loved the smoky yet juicy flavour of this drink but I think perhaps not everyone would care for the taste of mezcal as it is quite powerful. The food here is like small sharing plates which was good enough for us. First off we ordered the huancayo style potatoes and these were a tad spicy, which to me was so delicious. Next up was the empanadas, they have a standard meat filled ones or you can try the daily special which was seafood so we opted for that one. It was full of seafood and was great but I think I prefer the meat ones. For our third dish I asked the server what she recommended and she did not disappoint us! She suggested the crispy roasted pork and mentioned that is not ordered too often but it's like a hidden gem of flavour town. Was she ever right!! The pork was crispy, juicy, and so flavourful. The food is Peruvian inspired which is a unique cuisine for the Edmonton food scene. I would come back to Dolly's just for this crispy pork! So if you're thinking of checking this place out, do it! But make sure to make reservations first so you're not disappointed. Overall it was a super fun place for a girls night.

Very nice patio outback, away from the busy downtown Main Street. Wouldn't go there for dinner again, just drinks with friends! The tacos we got were small and expensive. Overall decent experience!

Drinks holding Guavas in my heart. Purple drink is live. Laugh. Lavender

Cute cocktail bar with Barbie vibes. Food was pretty good too. The Guava drink is wonderful and so was the Aji Di Gallina. If you like restaurants, food and drinks check out my Instagram @basic_who_brunches

I liked it, It made it more intimanite. Menu varies depending on the season. But I am sure that everyone will find something they would like. We chose a few things raw elk with fried capers, shallots & blueberries, the seared scallops with celeriac puree, capers, garlic and butter, saskatoon berry brisket with beef and carmelized onion on bannock, and the pappardelle rabbit ragu with parmigian reggiano . We also took two cockails which was delicous. Service was prompt and friendly. Food was delicious. The stand out was the raw elk. Delicous combination of thing that do a party in you mouth. I would go back just for that . The only thing that I didn't enjoy was the brisket. Way too sweet for me. Be warned it is pricey. Expect to empty your pocket book.

The menu is somewhat seasonal and they were happy to answer all our questions and to provide suggestions where needed. We mostly had some appetizers and we'd like to come back to try more dishes. The seasonal salad had apples and walnuts and was super hearty and delicious. The scallops and the sauce were so tender and creamy, the bison tartare was really nice too. It was similar to a steak tartare with its own twist. If you enjoy steak tartare you will love this. We will definitely be back! Great new local restaurant to support!

Our server was friendly and fun. And she totally matched the atmosphere. Food menu is limited. I would like to see a few more selections particulary since they get their meat from Smoke next door. I went with the Zombie which was a flippin 4 oz. It was delicious. And well worth the price. To eat we tried the burnt ends, the fries, and the mac and cheese. Food came out slower than typical but it was a good use of our time to enjoy the space and our drinks. Food was good. For sure the burnt ends were the star of the show. But the mac and cheese was good and creamy and the fries were well flavoured and plentiful. Sliders were well constructed. come here for amazing drinks and snacks! And the food is an added bonus.
