I live right next to a smog place but came here instead because of the reasonable price (especially with the check in) and the high reviews. It was worth the extra mile or two for the price, good service, and friendly conversation. Thanks!! read more

Late review , but smog zone was very helpful. My car didn't pas the first time but they gave me advice for the problem and it got fixed. Defiantly will go back in 2 years read more

Went to Smog Zone today. The service was extremely quick and easy. You can also pay for your renewal instead of going to the DMV. Thank you very much! read more

This was a really quick and convenient place for us to get a smog check, in an out in no time with all the paperwork we needed in hand!

Just as fast as the last time! I highly recommend it for anyone who needs a smog check. Friendly customer service!

This was the best smog check experience I have ever had. I know that sounds a bit absurd but the staff was really courteous and friendly and helpful. I had difficulty with logging onto yelp while there but he validated the yelp coupon as long as I promised to write a review. Anyways- you guys rock! Thanks. read more

Great friendly business that I'd definitely recommend. My car was tested quick and with the yelp discount! I would come here for future smog tests. read more

Haik was great! I pulled up and he attended me right away. He took my car while I had a seat. It took no more than 15 min before he had my car ready. I am so glad I found this place that conveniently on the way to the dmv. There was no wait and the sitting area is big enough for 6 people. I will defiantly be back with all my other cars and I know I can trust him! read more

I came to Smog Zone and Haik was helping another customer but came up to me right away and told me he'd assist me as soon as possible. My smog check only took about 15 minutes. Haik was quick and very professional, really cool too. I'll definitely be coming back for any Smog Check I need in the future. I would recommend anyone in the Van Nuys area to come here for their smogs. Great and quick service! Thanks Haik! read more

Went here to get my smog test done recently and I was impressed with the service they provided. They were very efficient, fast and friendly.

There are easily 198,057 smog check locations in the valley but why would you go to any place other than Smog Zone? WHY? I always bring my car to Smog Zone when I get those fun "smog inspection notice" letters from the DMV. They are super quick and friendly and have amazing reviews on Yelp for a reason. Thanks, guys! read more

On my first day there, (yes, I went several times in one week), my car failed the smog test due to my car's computer not being ready. They were kind enough to tell me that all I needed to do was drive my car until the computer was ready. So I drove and drove and went back to them to scan my car to see if it was ready for a retest. It wasn't ready again. I was getting nervous because I was driving with a expired plates. So I drove and drove some more at their advice with the A/C on/off. Different driving patterns. During this time, my rear brakes needed replacement. I ended up taking it to a repair shop that also happened to be a smog test shop, too. After having my brakes repaired, I asked them if they would be able to see if my car was ready to do a smog test. Maybe their scanner might be different from Smog Zone's. (I know nothing about cars, scanning, etc) This repair shop told me no and that something was very wrong with my car. I left with very little hope, since he was not able to tell me what was wrong with my car so that I can fix it. I continued driving. My third time going to Smog Zone, they scanned my car and it was still not ready. I was getting very frustrated, not at Smog Zone, but at my car. (FYI, Smog Zone was very professional and explaining all the answers to my questions even if it was going over my head) During the third scan, he told me to take it on a long highway drive. The next day, I decided to go to my favorite city with Vietnamese food. A good hour drive. Driving around town, my engine light came on. I was sooooooooooooooooo happy to see it come on. I drove straight back to Smog Zone. They were able to test it right away. It was so quick, I didn't even realized I had passed until they motioned us to come in and pay. Made my day!!! Overall, each time that I had gone into their shop, it was very quick, professional service. You can tell they know what the heck they're doing and want the customer to be happy. It's nice that they remembered me so I didn't have to explain each time I went what was wrong with my car. I highly recommend this place to anyone needing their Smog Test. Fair, professional and they want their customers to come back. read more

Read all the great reviews and was not mislead. Was greeted warmly, car taken immediately and before I could set myself comfortably in the waiting area chair- I was done. Nice guy, young, obviously good businessman. Never had a regular smog test guy- but I do now. read more

Fast and friendly service both times I've been in- 2 cars needed checks before registration. I will continue to recommend Smog Zone to anyone in need of a check! read more

The guy here was very polite and organized. There were a couple cars in front of me, but didn't take too long. Overall fine place for a smog, more of a waiting section here then I've seen at any smog location. Only complaint is the check-in coupon. I've gone to enough smog places to know it'll be about $50, coupon says $15 off for check in and when i'm paying the guy claims it's $5 off and I still ended up paying $50. read more

Great fast service, everyone was friendly, and I got to use my check in discount. I will everyone to come here!

It was the first time my car would need a smog test and since I delayed my renewal to the last minute, I panicked. I immediately yelped "smog stations" and found this place. I wanted a service that was fast and was no hassle and that's exactly what I received. The person helping me out was professional and honored the $15.00 off Smog check when checking in. Overall wonderful experience and will be taking my car here again. read more

Ahhhh man I had a snag with my vehicle. They threw out a few suggestions and i took it to my mechanic, sure enough it was a minor thing that was easily fixable and free. Had they not mentioned this at the smog zone I wouldn't have known and got charged a hefty fee just to reset my check engine light when all it was, was the gas cap..... I've upgraded this from 4 stars to 5!!! read more
