Excellent price--totally competitive. Had immediate availability and the great service was quick and easy.

Great place to get your Smog Check. Good price, super fast, very friendly and professional. I couldn't recommend more highly! Excellent!!

I went to Studio Smog yesterday and Vic took good care of my car. It was fast, quick, affordable and hassle free. Vick knows his job well and was very professional, approachable, personable and friendly. It only took 15 minutes, and not only he did a professional, smooth job on my car, he noticed that I had a leak and highly suggested that I take my car to a mechanic and get the leak fixed which is coming from a water bleeder. My car is old, and I wish he could have fixed it. He said, if he could, he would. They only do smog check and that is about all. Place is CLEAN, few chairs to sit, and work is done/complete! He made my day and I left the shop feeling fulfilled and happy. Thanks Vick. Will be back a year after; since as we all know smog check is required every other year!! read more

Studio Smog - Smog Check Stations Near Me - Los Angeles, California

Came here prior to the business closing at the end of the day and received the best service! I am quite new to the SMOG/DMV renewal process and the staff helped me quickly and was super kind/informing. I will definitely be back in the future and recommend this business to all. read more

Hi all Ya Yelpers! The Keep It Real Guy here so lets get started. I must agree with all of their 5 star reviews! I brought my Mercedes in I was out in about 15 minutes. The paper work was neatly prepared, the gentleman very nice, and courteous, I had a a very pleasant experience. No gimmicks, no add on. The price that is quoted you pay! For a smog test their is no other place than Studio Smog, let that be your go to! 5 stars across the board! Best in LA!!! Just keeping It Real!! read more

Came here after delaying a smog check for a hot minute. On a Monday afternoon with no appointment, I just showed my smog paperwork from the DMV and waited about 4 mins for them to go through scanning and verifying the paperwork for them to tell me to just take a seat and the check would be over quickly. It took about 10 minutes only for me and was $75 total with fees etc. They send over the pass score to the DMV immediately so you can then just pay your online registration and get your tags in a few business days! I appreciated the quick service and politeness. read more

I did a smog check for my car today, and Vick and Alex helped me get everything done very quickly. I forgot to bring my DMV letter, but they told me not to worry and helped me take care of it. Very friendly, professional, and efficient service. Highly recommend! read more

This is the spot! I'm always in and out in 30 minutes and the guys are fantastic. 12 years in a row for my cars.

I would absolutely recommend Studio smog. Vick went above and beyond his usual duties to take care of me. I'm on oxygen and have a very heavy portable unit. Usually one gets out of their car to get the smog check, but Vick let me remain in my car, which made the whole process so much more comfortable for me. Thank you, Vick!! read more

So quick, quality work, at a reasonable price. He was fast, efficient, and kind! Look no further, this is what service is supposed to be! I will never drag my feet on a smog check again. read more

Vick is great. Super fast. No hidden charges like other places. No appointment necessary. Highly recommend.

Great service, made an appointment which made it easy, nice people, good value. Will be going back in 2 years. read more

Vic is wonderful! I was having a hard time getting my OBD2 monitor ready for a smog test and went to a couple places before Studio Smog. But when I went to Vic he took the time to give me clear, thorough instructions on how to successfully reset my monitor, and gave me recommendations on where to drive in LA to avoid traffic. Thanks to him, I was able to reset my monitor and pass my smog test. Thanks so much, Vic! read more

Super friendly and super fast service (only took 15 minutes). My dog also appreciated the dog treat you gave her!

I do not recommend this place for a smog check. They don't have the proper equipment to perform the test, yet they charged me anyway just for 'trying.' I ended up paying $56.75 for nothing. This is very dishonest service. Right after leaving, I went to Dr. Smog N Lube Auto Clinic in Burbank, and they handled it without any problems. read more

Perfect! Got lucky no wait at all, less than 10 minutes total, both folks friendly and professional. Some toy cars to look at while you wait. Thanks, see you again in a couple years! read more

I've gone here multiple times and it's always been easy in and out. Just get your car into the parking lot and he'll navigate it for you. Also, it's not an inside lobby but there's cross breeze and shade. read more

Where should I start ? I found him on Yelp but with all honesty I went to 2 others that claimed to be open until 6pm and by 5:30/545pm these other places were already closed. He's Open until 7pm weekdays / honors the set times and willing to wait if you are running late if you ask nicely. He is open 7 days weekly ( see times ) very nice, kind, courteous, and friendly. read more

Quick, easy, and friendly service. Highly recommended. Good chatting with Vick about the business and music. :) read more

omg this was SO EASY! I was in and out in under 7 minutes! And I didn't even need an appointment! I don't know why I procrastinated so long on my smog check when it was such a breeze. :) Vick is really nice. read more

Vick was nice and welcoming. The shop area is clean (like Monica clean!). Few chairs to sit in the breeze while you have the short wait. Professional spot! Will return for our other vehicle when needed. Thanks, Vick! read more

got my car smogged here last month and was in and out quick! We took my fiancés truck this morning and the gentleman said he couldn't accommodate the truck yet, but referred us to another shop nearby with a great deal! He was so kind and professional, will definitely be returning!! read more

Great Service! Quick and easy. Vick was super friendly and very reasonably priced. Definitely reccomend if you're in the neighborhood.

Thumbs up. Super nice guy working it. Fast, easy, and cheaper than some others I priced.

Have been coming to this location for at least close to 20 years and after this last visit I need to write a review because the newest owner, Vick, is personable, professional and is a master mechanic. He has also cleaned up the place so if you are waiting it doesn't feel like you are waiting in a greasy shop. He doesn't price gouge like so many other places these days and if you need a smog - well worth the visit even if you have to come to Studio City specifically. If you have to wait at all there is also a library across the street. read more

I've gone here twice and they are fast, professional, and friendly. A great, convenient place to get your car smogged.

I needed a smog check for my car registration renewal and was down to the last minute and found this place. They stay open until 7pm, which was helpful because I hate showing up somewhere right before they close. Victor was awesome, really nice, helpful, and had me smogged and out the door in about 15 minutes because there was no line and he was pretty quick. He explained how everything was transmitted electronically directly to the DMV, so I was good to go. It was also not expensive either. Highly recommend and you'd be a fool to go somewhere else if you live in Studio City. Located on the corner of Moorpark and Whitsett. read more

Very easy, got in and out super fast, not expensive. Been going here for a couple years now

Quick and easy. The guy was super nice and I was out of there in about 15 min. Overall would go back for my next inspection

We love Vic and Studio Smog. The service here is always so friendly, helpful and warm. You wouldn't think you'd feel good getting your car smogged but Vic has such a lovely way about him that it makes the process easy and wonderful. He goes above and beyond. Fast too. We won't go anywhere else. read more

So quick, and the guy was sooo nice. Made it's super easy. I think under 10 minutes and I will definitely be going back!!
