After getting 5 price quotes from local smog shops on Yelp, my usual was a long wait both times I went by. So I tried this place. In and out in 10 minutes even with a car ahead of me and the cheapest of the 5 quotes. In Beverly Hills! $48! Who'd believe that? read more

Getting a bi-annual smog test is just slightly less dreadful than going to the DMV, but BH Smog makes it easy. The owner is kind and professional, and when there isn't a line, you're done in 5-10 minutes, all for a lot less than we've seen other places charge for the exact same test. For the past few years, we've taken both of our late-model cars here and have always had a great experience (and even have to go again this weekend for yet another test). Simply put, this is a great spot with fantastic service... from a kind and caring owner. read more

Had to get a smog check this year and the guy was quick. I didn't have to get out of my car, just pulled up and sat in my car with engine on. Very straight forward and certificate was sent to dmv and printed for my copy. It was as easy as it could get. read more

Super quick, super friendly. He even even offered to buy my car. I will go here again and again and again for all my cars.

STELLAR SMOG STATION Thankfully, someone on NextDoor recommended Beverly Hills Smog; otherwise, I would never have known about it. I had been procrastinating for months, but when I discovered this place was so close by and affordable, I finally went. I'm sure glad I did. It's in the little auto strip mall where the Mobil station is on the corner of Wilshire and Stanley. When I spotted the Rolls in front of me, I knew I was in the right place. There was only about a five minute wait on a weekday morning. The owner, Mehrdad, was great! The procedure took about ten minutes, and I was out the door for $48!!! Next time I need a smog check, I know where to go! read more

This is by far the best smog check center after decades of doing smog checks every 2 years. Mathew doesn't disappoint. I arrived, he went to work and less than 8 minutes, it was done. Best price in town. Don't believe me? Check it yourselves. Don't have to take my words. I'll be back!! Thank you BH smog! read more

Mehrdad was very nice and very efficient, (even though the barcode from the DMV PDF that I had printed out wasn't scannable) he was able to quickly finish my smog test, which I passed. He also is the most reasonably priced in the W. Hollywood/Beverly Hills/LA area. I saw he was wearing a Honda cap and he's worked for Honda, and I happen to need a lot of maintenance on my Honda CR-V. So afterward, I messaged him for a garage recommendation to which he immediately responded with the name and number of a garage. Above and beyond! Highly recommend this business!! Thank you, Mehrdad!! PS: He also gave me a tip to remove the leaves from my engine compartment so the rain will drain properly! Great! read more

Always been coming here because they're open on the weekends unlike most other places. Just be careful, the dude has a bad hip so don't get in his way but otherwise, all good! He explained everything I need every time to take care of the BMV business which is crucial since I've only been here a few years (3 to be exact)...so a reminder once in a while is useful to make sure I'm all good! This was absolutely perfect. I was dreading going to get a smog check. How long would it take? How much does it cost? How do I want to waste my time on a Saturday... but driving up to this little hole in the wall change my mind. The owner Matthew was so thoughtful. Kindness goes a long way. He even helped put window washer fluid in my car, which is absolutely not his job, but I was able to buy it at the Mart right there and he kindly put it in for me. I would recommend him and this establishment for your smog check needs fast cost-effective five stars all the way around. read more

Pretty quick, fair price, convenient location for us. It was hot out and we were able to wait in a nice, clean office with AC

They did the job and I passed the smog test. Would definitely use them the next time I need a smog test!

The GRUMPIEST smog check of all time... I've come here a few times. Had several problems this year with the business. And the most recent time I showed up, GOOD LORD, was the Employee in a terrible mood. He was beyond grumpy and rude. I was polite, as he held my smog check status in the palm of his hand... but man, he was mean enough for me to look for a new smog check place, next time. If you come here, just hope you find him on a good day. Otherwise, buckle-up for the grumpiest smog check of your life! Now... watch him COME FOR ME in the replies, which he's known to do. *hides* read more

Great prices; lower than the competitors. Not much waiting as service was great. On top of that the owner is a nice person.

Put out a request via Yelp and this was one of the four places that replied. It was also the closest to where I was and where I needed to go afterwards. Honestly this is the best smog check I've ever had - friendly and quick service at a totally reasonable price especially given the location. Now I want to come here for all my smog checks! read more

My overall experience from the first interaction was pleasant. I read mixed reviews before going here, so I was a little wary, I'm generally wary of businesses in Beverly Hills because a lot are all about money or have shady people. This was a good place and legit, I found the guy that helped me, very polite, very communicative. The service was quick and I was able to do my smog check fast, and it was the best deal I found in the nearby area so I'm very pleased. read more

FUN FACT: If you replace your car battery.... apparently it RESETS your car's "smog info", etc. So, according to the guy who works here.... you have to drive, like 30 miles on the highway, before he can actually give you a proper smog check. Who knew? read more

Super fast, they take walk-ins and I appreciated getting the service done at a reasonable price

Worst experience I've ever had for a smog test. For a small savings, it's not worth the hassle. Refused to retest after a fail. Would not offer refund. Avoid at all costs if you can! Update: He's lying in his reply 100%, hence more reason to stay away! read more

I came in looking for a smog check and was told my catalytic converter needed to be warmed up by driving more (I received a NOT READY status). I did 30 mins on the freeway and was told again that I needed to drive even more to warm the cat up. After almost 100 miles of freeway driving and hours of my time the technician told me I needed to drive even MORE and that was the only way the car would pass. Obviously this is very unusual and when I asked if something could be wrong with the car he said I just needed to drive more. After this he got frustrated with me told me he "gave up" and that if I went to get a second opinion from someone else they would just tell me the same thing... he stormed back inside and I never saw him again. Luckily I did NOT take his advice this time and I went to another location and after a 30 minute assessment and a quick 10 mile drive the technician diagnosed an issue with a part, fixed it and passed me for $45. Saved me another few hours of driving and another 100 miles on my car had I listened to the guy at Beverly Hills Smog. Quick and easy as this process should be. The job at this smog check was ultimately not finished and I never received any further advice on what might be wrong with the car that one would expect from a professional at a shop like this much less an offer for a refund considering I never even got a proper pass/fail. There are plenty of places around with this rate, I would recommend choosing another spot to go to who can give you real, useful advice in the case that something is actually wrong with your car. read more
