Asia and Lexus were so awesome, personable and helpful. They explained everything so I could understand it. Also the service was super fast. This is the best place ti get you car smoged! read more

These guys are always great. I got hit with an unexpected smog check for registration, so it was time to return here for the first time in... oh, five years or so? They're quick and efficient, which I so appreciate. It didn't take long at all to get smogged and out the door and on with the rest of my day. I'm so grateful! read more

Solid service! $79 for a smog test, was done in 15 minutes. Nono and Lexus were very friendly.

Can't tell you what a quick and easy experience this was. The Owner, Nono, was knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure. He made the process painless and incredibly fast. Service was fantastic and definitely worth his more-than-reasonable price. They should rename it to 11minute Smog! That's how long potassium was there! You can thank me later. read more

Quick and Easy! I will definitely be back next time i need to get my car smoged. They took care of me and lexis was very helpful in the front. Definitely come here if you need a quick smog! read more

As advertised! Honestly was probably in and out of here in 6 minutes, not 16. Great service, Alexis was super helpful!

Efficient, friendly service and at a great price. I've been there twice now with two different cars and there is never a line, no runaround and a very kind team working there. read more

Really nice and helpful. Made my smog check a super easy experience. It was really quick and professional all around

I went to get my annual smog check and this become my go to. I've been here multiple times because of the quality and efficiency. This is the first time I've been since they've bought the whole building and also the first time I've met the owner/manager Nono. Talking with him while getting my smog check serviced by Ricky was pleasant. It has been a great value for me and so I've continued to return here because the quality of the service. They now do oil changes so I will keep them in mind for other services. read more

16 Minute Smog - In and out. Fast service. - Smog Check Stations Near Me - Los Angeles, California

Smog check success story: procrastinator edition. I rolled in on a Saturday with our 2013 SUV, dangerously close to the DMV deadline (classic me). Not only did they take me in right away, but the gentleman handling the smog check was polite, professional, and impressively efficient. I was in and out in under 20 minutes--barely had time to finish scrolling through my emails pretending to be productive. No upsells, no attitude, just straight-up great service. Honestly felt like a drive-thru for adult responsibilities. If you're like me and tend to put these things off until your car starts judging you, do yourself a favor and go here. Highly recommend. read more

Less than 16 minutes! Staff were very fast. Chatted with the owner and Asia, the cashier, for the 10 minutes it took to smog my car. Super friendly and made great conversation while I waited :) read more

Fast and easy smog check and the receptionist Asia and Lexus were really nice. Will come back again!

Went to this place for an oil change, let me tell you I have to give props to Lexus for her awesome customer service, she helped me out, very sweet lady. The two girls in the front are very professional. I also have to mentioned that a dark skin old man was very unprofessional and very disrespectful to the young ladies that assisted me, mind you I am and elderly man and he was very upset for a senior discount. He was calling her names, that was truly uncalled for. The owner needs to put him uncheck, this guy was the manager. I am only putting 5 stars for the ladies that did outstanding, otherwise I would have put 0 stars if I could. Anyways I needed to get this out my chest. read more

Quick and efficient. Got me in and out in less than expected time. Price was competitive with others in the area.

Says open Sundays. Was not open upon my arrival. Did not update Google Maps or yelp hours to reflect closure. Drive all the way here because it was supposed to be open. read more

Called to ask about a smog check and to inquire about whether there was a wait. The person who answered was extremely rude. I was on the phone for no longer than 1 minute - terrible customer service and do not recommend. read more

Dishonest business! I told him I needed an oil change and smog check, he said he couldn't do the oil change and did the smog check knowing that I would fail and charged me for it. I felt like I was completely taken advantage of as a young woman. I felt played and lost money that I really needed. read more

Called and received Same day availability at this local shop. They were easy to work with and did a thorough job. Overall, Happy to have found this place. Wouldn't say it's the cheapest smog test, but for good service and ease would definitely recommend. read more

16 Minute Smog is the BEST. Ricardo and his tech are great. I got my smog check, paperwork and paid in under 5 minutes. No joke.

Ricardo is amazing! I went first for a smog test--great service. Ricardo gave me a coupon. Then I started having car trouble (weird noises) and I didn't know they were open Sundays so I went to a different garage. Big mistake! Came back to 16 minute/Nono's for an oil change and they did an inspection of the car and found out my car problems were from a bad barring and old rotors. They scheduled an appointment for me for replacement and I got my car back the same day! Now all is good, car sounds great. And they gave me a really good price. Highly recommend! I found my garage! read more

ZERO stars. I've never encountered such a hateful, sexist and rude employee as I did yesterday with Ricky from 16 Minute Smog. He mocked my driving (he wanted me to maneuver my car into one of the testing bays within a tight parking lot) and told me I was "doing it the lady way" (??). He yelled at me to roll down my window so he could instruct me how to park my car "properly". I wound up executing a perfect 3 point turn...and drove away. Never getting my business. EVER! read more

Lexis and the team were very helpful and efficient! They helped me close to closing time and were very kind.

These people, especially the owner, are soooo nice!! They charge the minimum possible amount or even help me free of charge. Highly recommend! read more

Great service Eddie was super helpful. Quick with no wait and overall a good value for the money. Rickey did the actual inspection and was quick and explained everything well. read more

$67 to fail my smog inspection and then $75 to get it again?!?! Took them less than 5 minutes to look at my car. Absolute greedy people. Not good service. Would NOT recommend. It failed because I got my car battery jumped yesterday. If they just asked me that question it would've saved everyone time and me money. This place sucks. read more

Change your hours of operation if you're not open Sundays! No sign on the door nothing when you call stating you're closed

I have an old car, but they were able to smog check it as they have the machine for it! Professional service with a smile as well!!!

I came in on a Sunday at 10am and was done in 15 minutes. I was the first customer. Art was great. He was opening up, greeted me, and said I can wait across the street at Target. I decided to walk along Santa Monica Blvd to get some exercise. As I walked passed the shop to go east on Santa Monica, I heard a whistle and Art waived at me to return, as the smog test was done. I passed. I will come back again, when my wife's car will have to get a smog test. read more
