I went with high expectations because Google & Yelp had good reviews on this place. Service was quick and he was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place read more

Quick friendly service. I don't think there is an Aaron there anymore, but the friendly guy that helped me said that everyone calls him Aaron! (He told me his name, but I don't remember it.) I went here after the previous smog check I used in Boyle Heights went out of business. Aaron's is great and I hope they are around when I need to do another check in two years. read more

These guys are super professional, prompt, friendly and have good customer service offering water and seating while you wait.

The people there were very efficient and very hospitable. They offered me a cold bottle of water which was very much appreciated. The service itself did not take long and they will transmit it directly to DMV for me. I was really pleased with everything they did, including Ivan's responsiveness on our YELP chats!!!! First class, friendly busines deserving 5 Stars!!!!!!! read more

Quick and easy smog job. They also honor the yelp coupon and give a small discount. Plus they're local to be so thats a plus

Awesome quick service. I had told Aaron that I had a check engine light previously, and he told me that it would be 50/50 that I would pass. That I could get it rechecked if it didn't. But I passed and all was good. $70 cash and I was out in 10 mins. Pretty good for Boyle heights. Very convenient. Nice dude. read more

I called and asked if I could come over now for a smog check and someone answered the phone right away and said to come over. I did and the smog check was all done in less than 10 minutes. Very nice and professional! He also put air in my tires because they were all low. I noticed that the tire light was on but I just had it serviced at Audi DTLA and they couldn't seem to get any of the lights on dashboard to stop so I've been driving with low pressure in my tires for 3 months and they are about to get a very bad review. read more

This place is reliable, honest, fast, and fairly priced. I would definitely come here again for all routine smog checks. I highly recommend coming here if you're local, it's also worth visiting if you're not from the area. The gentleman that helped me offered me water and was also very hospitable- he pulled up a chair and asked me if I needed anything while I waited. Thank you for your kindness and professionalism! read more

Yesterday I had a meeting in downtown Los Angeles. And my appointment was running really late. Just found this location using Yelp. The ratings were high enough I jumped off the freeway and took my car in. There's a two-man team there. They were very fast, extremely friendly, and neat. I was in and out in under 30 minutes and that's with someone ahead of me. I strongly recommend these guys. The parking lot is a little tight but is very manageable. read more

Genuine service. Called the guy to see if I can stop by and possibly tell me why my car had the check engine. He did infact. He took the time to get the code for FREE. And showed me the part that was the problem. He went a step further and said I didn't need to buy a new part but just clean it and put it back on. My car had two codes=/. No bueno. Anyway, he helped me alot! Thank you so much. Saved me money. Will be taking my car here for the smog check. With service like that you can't go wrong. Oh and btw, I'm a girl. If that helps.. read more

This place was amazing. I won't consider taking my car anywhere else now for a smog check. I wish I knew about this place last time I needed one. I was looking for a place that was open after work as not many places are. I drove in and was done 15 minutes later. The guy who worked there (Ivan was it?) was extremely friendly, efficient, helpful, and kind. When I asked if they accepted credit card, he apologized and said no, but that there was a bank nearby and he would take care of my car and then let me go get cash and bring it back. I was touched by his trust in me (not that he shouldn't have trusted me, but not everyone would just trust a random stranger). I ended up walking to the bank while he ran the smog check because the bank was very close and I didn't want to hold him up. In the end, he gave me a discount and offered me a water bottle (much appreciated). I tried to give him a small tip to offer my gratitude for his courtesy and because it was the holidays, but he refused to take it. I kept pressing him to take it, but to no avail. He said it was his pleasure. I was very impressed by his professionalism and warmth. I would recommend this place to all! read more

I love my car, but it sucks to have to get a smog check during the holiday season. Well Aaron's makes the whole thing a lot easier to deal with.I was in and out in less than 1/2hr.I was offered a free water bottle, given a discount, and he let me go get cash from the market across the street.Plus he was super friendly. I showed up before they opened, and was prepared to wait a while until they could take me. But they took me right away, before they were even supposed to open. While I waited, they brought me a bottle of cold water. Much appreciated on a hot morning. Service was fast. I passed, and they sent my results to the DMV. I was in an out in maybe 15 minutes tops. Outstanding service and I'll be back when my next smog is due. read more

Very nice workers! They offered water, they kept the appointment time, the whole thing took 20 minutes, and I passed the smog check. They said if I didn't pass, I wouldn't have to pay. If you are in this part of town, I definitely recommend coming here for your smog check. read more

Awesome customer service! I was in and out quickly (15mins) - get your car smogged on your lunch break and still have time to eat lol. Called on my break trying to get a quote for a smog check I needed for my registration. I mentioned that I discovered this business on yelp and received a $10 discount! $50 out the door. It was literally up the street from my work. I was well taken care of and even offered water while I wait. Come here for all your smog check needs! Went for a smog check to AAron on recommendation from coworker and the Yelp reviews. Excellent, timely, friendly, honesty and very polite. He offered cold bottled water. Not only that, but, indicated that my car did need power steering which I know it needed. He added power steering and did not even charge me. On top of that, he gave me the $10 discount as a Yelp member. I tried to give him the $60 instead of the $50, but he would not take it. I still gave him $5 additional for the excellent service. I would highly recommend them for the overall service. If there was 10 stars, I would have given it. Even though, there is several star smog check stations closer to where I work, I went a couple miles further and I do not regret it. Thanks AAron. read more

Love when you're not trying to be sold on something you don't need. Thanks for the prompt service. We will recommend to others.

Quick and friendly service! The kind man working on my car checked my air pressure for me and was suspicious there was a nail in my tire. Sure enough there was! Thankful for his attention to detail and care. Got it patched conveniently next door. I also mentioned the Yelp discount and got $10 off. I will be back and recommend this Aaron's for your smog check. read more
