Okay this man is honest. I came back to him because my little bro took my car to him to get it smogged a couple years ago. When I took it back, when I mentioned that my car has had it's catalytic converter changed by a mechanic, he went and inspected it to see if it would pass smog check, and lo and behold the catalytic converter was not the right one for my car. He didn't charge me, and just asked me to bring the car back. The car was giving me problems and I was honestly trying to get it smogged so I can just sell it. I ended up selling the car without smogging it, so I couldn't bring the car back for him, but I definitely know where to bring my other cars. He's a very honest guy, very communicative, and honestly just a great guy. read more

However, I came up on this location after reading reviews that the owner is trustworthy so I decided to give it a shot. First off, right away owner was super friendly and attentive. Acknowledged me and let me know where in queue I was. Mind you my car had been sitting for a long time due to covid so I needed a smog in order to renew my tags. Anyways, buddy asked me details about my car and I told him exactly this. He did a quick check and told me up front it wouldn't pass until I ran the car for a while. I was shocked. He didn't test and fail rather was honest about and sent me on my way. He said to drive it around the valley and come back to re-check if it was ready.
