Take care thst they are a smaller lot on a somewhat busy street, so it may be difficult to drive larger cars in here... Especially backing back out. That being said, their drive-in was also a tad narrow, but the staff directed me in without me asking - thanks! I didn't make a reservation and walked in. With one car ahead, the wait time was about 15 minutes. All in all, in and out within 15 minutes. I received a smog check and when I went to aaa to pay my registration and submit smog certificate they told me that they had not uploaded it to the dmv or they must have did something wrong. When I contacted and let these guys know hoping they would fix it and all would be fine they said it will be an additional charge! I couldn't believe it and I hope nobody experiences what I had to. Was empty-headed and ignored a pending registration renewal's due date... and that I needed a new Smog certification! I had to move quickly, and due to the good reviews, I gave this place a try and am glad I did. I arrived a bit late in the morning, and there was already a car ahead of me and a bit of a Tetris puzzle in the parking lot. Still, I was done within 15-20 mins with a clean bill of health with time to spare. They thought it wouldn't be in the DMV system until midnight, but luckily, I was able to renew the same day without any additional late payment. Whew! So many other places get all confused when a pre OB2 vehicle comes in, or they want to charge you $250 or something crazy. 5 Stars is not enough!!! This is where you should come to get your car smog checked every time. It is a Star Certified test station. Very inexpensive at $44.75 + $8.25 cert fee f you mention Yelp (a $10 discount) and I believe if your car is built in 2000 or newer (you can call and ask). Rates are posted in the shop, unlike other smog test stations I have been at. Today I was helped by Saro (I apologize if I misspelled your name), who was polite, professional, friendly, and happy that I brought my business to him. There was someone ahead of me (we both got there just before 8:30am, when they open). I was in-&-out before 9am.
