Great service, fast and efficient, value is average, id go back for my next smog. Im giving 4 stars because the price could be a bit better, other than that the experience was great. $80 for a smog on a 2008 Camry. I think it is just that EVERYTHING is expensive these days... read more

In-and-out, fast service at a great price. The gentleman working was very polite and straight to business. I wasn't waiting long at all and there were cars being serviced when I got there. Responded very quickly to my Yelp inquiry with pricing and everything the service includes. Going to bookmark this business and come back. Will refer family and friends. Thank you. read more

I needed a smog check and this place is now the street. Very convenient location. I finally got to go to the place with the giant statue!! Parking was easy for me because it was empty, but as more customers came it got more difficult. But the service was very fast and professional. I will come back here next year when I need another smog check. read more

Wow! This place is a hot mess! Crowded, hard to get in and out of, hard to find someone to talk to. I had called to ask if they could do a smog check for my particular car, and they said yes (on Friday). On the following Wednesday, after fighting my way in to their parking area, I finally found a guy who told me they couldn't do a smog check for my type of vehicle because something or another wasn't working... Getting out again was another mess and a half. Found another place close by (S&S on Saticoy) that was fabulous. Would not touch this place again with a ten foot pole (which maybe would have been handy for getting in and out of this place! ) read more

I got a smog check. Fast service, friendly, very professional. No wonder they have five stars. Thank you!!!

My friend recommended this place. Parking is tricky. Excellent service, above and beyond.............

Realized last minute that I needed a smog for my registration, came here and was in and out in literally 10 minutes. Extremely kind and professional staff that seemed to truly care. Affordable and also didn't try to suggest other things that my car needed done. Will come back here every year for my smog! read more

I needed a STAR station smog check and this place is local for me. They are popular and on a busy street with freeway access, so there was a little bit of a wait. Once it was my turn I got in and out efficiently. They definitely know what they are doing at this station. No complaints! Pro-tip: the entrance is on Sherman Way which can get extremely busy during peak traffic hours, making it a bit more challenging to navigate in and out of, especially if they have several customers waiting. If you can, go during non peak traffic hours. Great experience overall! read more

5 Stars is not enough!!! This is where you should come to get your car smog checked every time. It is a Star Certified test station. Very inexpensive at $44.75 + $8.25 cert fee f you mention Yelp (a $10 discount) and I believe if your car is built in 2000 or newer (you can call and ask). Rates are posted in the shop, unlike other smog test stations I have been at. Today I was helped by Saro (I apologize if I misspelled your name), who was polite, professional, friendly, and happy that I brought my business to him. There was someone ahead of me (we both got there just before 8:30am, when they open). I was in-&-out before 9am. Highly recommend Smog Check Pros, and will being all my cars there when a smog check is required. read more

Smog Check Pros - Arrive at 8:30am, 2nd in line, out by 8:58am - Smog Check Stations Near Me - Van Nuys, California

We were looking for a certified smog check location and they just happened to be open on New Years Day. We actually first inquired with the owner regarding a few questions we had regarding the process for a car that was going from non-operational process to operational and he was very clear and direct with his answers, which I really appreciated. Then when we asked about how long the wait was, he was able to squeeze us in on a stand by basis and we were in and out of there within 20 minutes. I found the owner to be very professional and business like and really appreciated his direct answers. Would not hesitate to recommend Smog Check Pros. The only downside I would say is, definitely try to make an appointment if you're going on a weekend as there is a lack of parking because of its location. read more

This place is the king of smog check. I hate to write a great review because I'll just end up having to wait in a longer line. This place is efficient. My car was literally in and out in 11 minutes but I had to wait about 10 lucky minutes before that. The line got much longer after I arrived. I guess the word is out. This place is no longer a secret anymore. read more

Easiest most straightforward smog check ever --in and out in 15 minutes, no drama. Cost was reasonable -- I checked around....He's open on weekends too.... I just called, got the price and went over. Backstory: My prior smog station lost it's lease so went to another station, that station tried to get to my Porsche 'Mid Mounted' Engine (accessible only by taking the seats out), by wanting to pry off a panel with a putty knife that wouldn't have taken him there!! I said NO WAY, and found this station. Very happy I went to Smog Check Pros in Van Nuys--will be back! read more

I fuck with this place Heavy! I Literally take everyone in my family and my girls family here for smog checks.

They were awesome! My wait was around 10 minutes (I got there around 9:30 on a Saturday morning and it's first come first serve). They were friendly, knowledgeable, and provided everything I needed to register my car in CA. Price was very reasonable, $53. Will definitely visit them next time. read more

I needed to get a smog checked and certified because the dmv required it. After calling around a few places for price comparison, I came across smog checks pros, the pricing was reasonable and affordable so I decided to give it a shot. I went in without an appointment and the service was fast and to the point, so I decide to check in since I was really happy about the customer service, pricing and how quick it was and also received a special offer. I definitely recommend this place! (You won't regret it) read more

Great guy comes great service. No nonsense in charges. My only suggestion, check for coupons online. You might get a dollar or two off.

Came here as a walk-in for my registration Smog check. They were extremely kind and I only had to wait about 5 min. I went during the week so I'm sure it was a bit slower than a weekend, but they were very transparent with anyone showing up what the expected wait time would be. Highly recommend them for getting through such an annoying process! read more

They were great! My car didn't pass at first- I have a older car 2006 Acura TL. He said I have to drive 65 miles an hour for 10 min. Unfortunately in LA it was kind of impossible to go the 10 minutes straight so when I came back it still didn't pass but he put my car on some rollers and was able to go 60 miles for 5 mint , then it passed. Guy was very nice at helping me, no problems whatsoever. read more

Attitude is horrible and I normally don't leave these type of comments. No people skills, angry from the begging price was a bit up there but not unreasonable almost average a few dollars more. It's just the way they speak to and with people. I would NOT !!!! recommend this place at all. This is just my opinion. read more

In LA some of us with older cars need to do a SMOG check every two years. I'm sure many don't like having to do it but I found this gem of a spot off Yelp and I totally recommend it. Not only was it a comfortable spot but Saro was super fun, chill, and kind to talk to. He had me rolling with laughter! His jokes were worth the price of the admission before I bounced I said id help do a review for him and I'm gonna take a picture with this guy, who was he though?! Saro said whoever he is he's been here since the beginning and that they were of the same age. HAHA!!! really Saro.
