Do not come ! 2nd staffer was rude and took other customers out of order ahead of me because their paperwork was disorganized and he did not want to look through it. I went somewhere else and paid full price for my retest rather than deal with these idiots. Also no retest prices posted. read more

Went in for a smog check with no appt. Super fast, convenient, and reasonably priced. It'll be my go-to spot. Thank you!

Been coming here for years. Fast, easy, affordable, and the waiting room is clean, with chairs and magazines - not that you'll be in it long enough to read one. read more

Walked in to get a smog check - service was quick and fast. Staff was friendly and helpful answering my questions. The service cost $70 - $60 for smog check & $10 for the processed service fee. Seemed like a fair price for the service! But not sure how much smog checks typically cost read more

I walked-in 5 mins before closing to make an appt for the next day and Ejmin ask me if I wanted to service my car now. OMG, I said. Ejmin offered great customer service, he explained what I needed and how long the service to my car would take. Great experience. read more

I've been coming to Eagle Smog Check since 2015, and they always do a great job. Raffi and his son Ejmin are helpful and have earned my trust. My car is an older vehicle and it is harder to do a smog check for it, but they always follow through to make sure my car is serviced. I really appreciate their dedication and professionalism, and always return to Eagle Smog Check because I know I will be treated well and be happy with the excellent service! read more

I recently bought a used car and when registration came up, it said I needed a smog check. I called ahead of time and was told come on in. They can give me a pre-check to see if it would pass at no charge. That alone brought me to their place. They were very friendly very efficient very fast and reasonably priced. They even told me there was a recall on my car, which I have an appointment made to have that repaired. Thank you, Eagle smog you guys are awesome. read more

Not sure why they have a low rating. The service was quick, transparent, and efficient. Would go back again for my next Smog Check.

Fabulous, fast, friendly service! The only place we will go to for smog service. Highly recommend.

Went in to get a smog check on a Saturday morning and was in and out in 15 minutes. Great service!

Fast and convenient. EJV in was good too. $60 flat on 12.28.24 seemed like a reasonable price.

Service and processing was done quickly. Staff are friendly, effecient, and easy to work with. An hour later I went on the DMV website to renew. No problem. read more

This location in Van Nuys California is one of the very best businesses I encountered. Been coming here for years...they always have great customer service and are very up front and honest. Ask for Edwin!

I'm so sick of coming here during business hours only to have them be closed. This is the second time I have come when their ad says they are supposed to be open and they are not. I got a coupon in the mail to have a smog check with 10$ off. On it it clearly states this location is open on Sundays from 10-3. I arrived at 10:30 and joined others that clearly thought the same thing. Sorry eagle, fool me twice I'm outta here. You lost (several) customers. read more

Best smog check experience ever! Pulled in. No line, nice a/c waiting area. Drove out with passed test in less than 15 minutes! The staff is very nice and professional and no hassle. read more

We've been coming here for years but I honestly don't know why. The place is S-L-O-W but the worst part is the lack of communication. Very little talking (or smiling) when you come in, few questions, then they just take the car - - and nothing for a long while. Then when they are done, you really have to ask them several times if you passed and then they grunt and say yes (or no last time for us.) I agree with everyone else, don't come here. P. S. First test, waited 20 minutes then he tells me that his machine didn't communicate properly with Sacramento and he had to do it again with another 15 minute test. My truck failed (not his fault obviously). Came back for a retest, and again his equipment doesn't communicate properly and he has to test the truck in a different bay. They have really crappy equipment here. read more

2nd time bringing my car here. Great customer service! My smog check took 15 to 20 mins. Very quick! Thank you Eagle Smog!

50% more expensive than anywhere else. Smog check here is $60+$9 certificate. Every single smog testing shop in the area does it around $40. Save your money and take your car somewhere else. read more

What an awful experience. Feel myself completely ripped off after visit. No service would be better than this type of service. If you don't want to waste your time and money and feel like someone is just taking advantage and using you - better avoid this place. It is my first time writing negative review but I feel like need to prevent people from having same experience I had. Terrible service and attitude. I will never come back. read more

I needed a quick smog today on my benz and the guy was able to complete it within 10-15 minutes. Total price for my coupe was $68 with the certificate which I was okay with consodering how close they are to me. read more

$68?????? Yea right. I walked right on out. And seeing as how most smogs cost about $25-30 on cars Newer than a 2000, if it's going to be more than $40, you tell someone before u assume they wanna pay $68. And rude about it, like I asked why so much and he gonna talk to me like i don't know anything, why cause I'm a girl? Lol No wonder ur reviews are not good. read more

I guess there is a reason this place has so many bad reviews. Sometimes you should really look at a places reviews before going in. I honestly didn't think it could be that bad till I showed up to get a quick smog check. The $68 price they said for just a check was absolutely ridiculous. The staff seemed very unprofessional. I told them I would pay $50 max for a check, which is already a lot more expensive than what many places charge, and they were extremely rude with their $10 off price. I can only imagine how much they'd over charge me if I had stayed longer. It's sad to see businesses lose business but these guys definitely don't deserve anybodies. Do yourself a favor and stay away read more

My first few trips to Eagle were okay. The price was higher than for a new car because it is an older vehicle, but the price quoted over the phone was the one that I ended up paying. My last two visits, the price changed after I was there. In one case the "free retest" was not free after I had the issue taken care of. Overall, I would not go back here even though the location itself is very convenient to me. read more

I also have brought my cars here for years. They are always polite and quick. I arrived at 5:00 today without an appointment and they were testing my car within 7 minutes. The test took 5 minutes. I was done by 5:15. I am suspicious about the bad review that is dragging down their rating. It is not deserved. read more

Don't ever take your car here for a smog test. They are expensive and if you fail still charges you.
