The guy who helped us wouldn't pass us because he claimed from his "experience" that he knew that our factory catalytic converter was after market when it in fact was a factory one. Took it to another smog place and they said they were able to tell that it was a factory one and passed us. Never going here again. Waste of money and time. read more

Waited almost an hour just for the guy to tell me that his machine wouldn't do my car. He also wouldn't honor an online check in deal because apparently it's only valid for OBDII vehicles, and my classic fixer was a 95, and thus OBDI. He was nice about it so I won't knock him on his professionalism. What I can say is that the smog was going to cost me almost $100 which is highway robbery. I ended up going to Dinhs Smog and he had me out in 20 min for less than half of the price. No B/S. Place does not do smog checks on German cars. Really confused as they have a Porsche on their pics?! Tech said he needed to see entire engine on a Porsche before smog checking? If you have a Toyota or Nissan this place should work for you, but anything with a rear engine go somewhere else don't waste your time here. Tech is not very knowledgeable. read more

This is for the location on Lincoln in Orange... I don't even know where to start, the fact the smog technician told me he doesn't like people near him unless it Marlyn Monroe and gave me a creeper look so he only likes helping young girls!? Or the fact I had to go get another gas cap due to mine having cracks around the seal ignoring the fact all my smog monitors were complete, then making me do his job like open my hood and move my car around your shop like Im providing you the service. Proceed to take my gas cap off while vehicle was running and take screwdriver to it for no apparent reason on my new gas cap. Then on top of it all charge me a $18.25 for a state certificate that costs $8.25 at every other shop because I used a Groupon and "they messed up". Then the cherry on top a young lady pulls up and he glad to help her out and be around her. Guy totally ignored me when I said thank you sir and have a nice day. Would not recommend this shop to anyone. Wasted 2 hours of my time for a smog that should've taken 15 minutes if this guy was competent of his job! read more

0 stars , I bought a Groupon to do a smog test , and at the same day I replaced my car battery the guy told me the car can't pass the smog test you have to drive 100 miles and come back It will be one time free plus $8.25 certificate and he stamped my paper for one free within next 90 days I went today to do the smog after I drove 100 miles there is a different guys was working he's name Ag or Aj something like that he was very rude unprofessional he told me leave I wouldn't do it for you come back on Friday when the other guy here ! 0 customer service unbelievable how he was rude I hope the owner can replace him with another worker read more

This guy is not a nice person and a huge time waster. Go somewhere else. If you have a newer car in perfect condition, you may be OK. I have an older car. He said he couldn't read the numbers on the catalytic converter, made me clean them myself which I photographed, made me wait for another customer to finish their smog test, claimed he still couldn't read them. Had to go to the referee who could read to get the smog certificate. In the process he wrote "tampered with" in the computer, so I could not go to any other smog shops in town. This place sucks. He wasted a day of my time and I hope this review wastes a day of business for him. read more

I decided to give this place a shot because of all of the 5 star reviews. After today's experience, I realized those 5 star reviews were not as genuine. You give the smog guy a good review, he takes off a couple of dollars. I showed the worker guy, AJ, an online coupon and he agreed to honor it. However, the worker AJ was only nice to me up until I received a fail result. He became rude and condescending. He told me I wasn't worth risking his license over. After the fail result, he charged me $51 and told me to come back as he did not honor the coupon. He added that if I passed the second time, he'll only charge me an additional $8 for the cert. oh cool... I did not want to deal with his complete lack of customer service so I took this is as a complete loss and went elsewhere. I paid $40 and received a much more pleasant experience with another nearby shop. read more
