There was no wait on Friday around 11am, and the whole thing took only 20 minutes. They were very kind in letting me know that my car has a larger engine and requires 5 quarts of oil, which is more than the coupon typically covers, but they didn't charge me for the difference. I needed a smog check and could not get it. OK, fine, the car's computer said it could not be smogged, not their fault. They (I guess) started the process before they checked the computer and maybe there are fees associated with starting the test. But they charged the full boat rate and refused to do the retest even though the sing clearly ready retests are free. For me, this is the unforgivable and totally shady aspect. So full fee for 5 minutes of work and if I want to retest, pay it all again. Total rip off. read more

Absolutely terrible experience. From the moment I arrived, the customer service was disrespectful, the attitude was off, and the whole place felt sketchy. I went in for a simple smog check, and even that turned into a problem because they completely misled me about the pricing. What they quoted and what they tried to charge were two totally different things. But the most alarming part happened afterward. When I got into my car, I immediately noticed my glove box had been opened and all my documents were a mess. I had a $100 birthday check inside--something I had put away securely--and it was gone. Someone clearly went through my personal belongings without permission. When I asked about it, the guy didn't apologize or act concerned. Instead, he got rude and defensive, snapping that he "didn't touch" anything. This is beyond unprofessional. It's dishonest and it's borderline criminal. If a business can't be trusted with the simplest service and feels comfortable going through people's private belongings, they should not be operating at all. I highly recommend fix and smog for repairs as well as smogs. Alex was great. I took in an old Subaru and he spent almost an hour getting it to clear the smog process. Took it back to him a month later for repairs as I was having trouble getting it to start. New parts were no longer being made for it because it was so old, however, Alex was able to locate the parts needed to repair it. Even though the car was full of problems Alex persisted until it was Working well and completely safe. It was also ready exactly when he told me it would be.
