Needed a truck inspection for the new CARB regulatioNot only took care of the inspection, but also provided instructions on what needed to happen on my end. These guys are bad news and nothing but scammers please be aware. Nothing was wrong with my timing. These guys in here are extremely unprofessional, rude and will speak over you so loud you can't even speak to them. They will fail your car and charge you $75, regardless even if they only look at it for 2 minutes. I won't even go into all the details of how poorly this business is being run but long story short my car "failed" and I went to another shop and the car passed inspection with flying colors. I would encourage you to look at pretty much any other shop besides this one due to cost and unprofessionalism. Also, this place is basically an indoor smoking room it's nasty. I'm sure they will have some sort of dumbass reply to this so they don't look like the bad guys like they do on every bad review. Again don't even bother trying this place. Hands down the best smog shop. The gentleman that owns the shop is respectful, is considerate about people's time, and is always kind every time I come in. I typically only wait about 10 minutes when there isn't anyone else here so it's worth every penny to me to come here. Worthless employees, too lazy to go under and look for carb numbers on cats, failed me and I had to go get the numbers myself, still wanted to charge me for a retest despite failing the vehicle because of their own laziness. Never had an issue at any other smog station, do NOT bring sedans/coupes or slightly low vehicles to this location. This place is fine for SUVs/trucks when they can use a mirror to see the numbers but they can't be bothered to do their job with lower vehicles. read more

I've been bringing my commercial fleet and personal vehicles here for years. Khalil is incredibly professional, polite, and accommodating. Most Amog shops either won't test my Porsche or they charge a ridiculous surcharge to open the mid-engine compartment to access the engine and perform the test. He doesn't. As a courtesy, I'm happy to open the engine compartment for him. He's the BEST around. I can't recommend him highly enough. read more

They were prompt and got straight down to business. My car had been non-op for quite a long time. I fixed it up and got a new battery, then took it to these guys for a smog. They tested and found that my on-board computer wasn't ready (do to having replaced the battery) so they couldn't pass the car on it's smog test, but he told me exactly what to do to get the car ready. I followed his instructions, brought the car back and he retested it at no extra charge. Both times I was in and out with no wait, no hassle, no BS. read more

Don't bother if you have had any work done to your exhaust system. I was told the part numbers on my catalytic converters were to hard to read and they were to hot to spend time trying to find and read them. I was asked to take my truck home and find the numbers and write them down for him. Told me my throttle body spacer was illegal when I first went. After finding all the numbers he needed at home he said that the spacer was legal when I showed back up to give him all the information and photos. Needless to say I'm not impressed with the way he handled the smog. He did take my money though even though no smog was done. Like he said he could have turned me into the referee since he couldn't find the numbers but he is a nice guy. Told him I'd love to see the referee and let them see everything is all up to the "CARB" standards. Basically he is a cherry picker.... Likes the easy stuff... when it comes to actual doing his job he is full of excuses as to why he can't. In smog inspection terms.... FAIL. Comment to the owners comment: Yes, you did ask me to remove the shield that cover the catalytic converter. Get a clue about how cars and trucks are put together. Unfortunately that shield is what holds up the transmission and transfer case. How can I drive it if nothing is holding my transmission and transfer case up ????? So, why would you ask me to provide you the numbers? You couldn't see them the first time after 30 minutes how would you be able to find them the second time? I hope you used the $60 to buy a mirror and a $30 Endoscope off Amazon as I suggested when you offered me the refund. Why wouldn't a reputable smog shop have the proper tools available so they can be accurate at their job and provide a great service and experience for their customers? Again let me just say.... the exhaust will be hot and sometimes the numbers will be hard to find. Just let the customer know that you can't do your job and don't charge them.
