Quick and easy. No appointments needed or necessary. They also donate funds towards wheelchairs for people who can't afford it. Great customer service and genuine kindness to the community. read more

These guys are truly a joke. The girl at the front should've taken the job at McDonald's because she does not do well at all and has horrible attitude. How do you fail a vehicle then pass it after another technician inspects it then throws away the fail paper I do not recommend taking any of your vehicles here. Go somewhere else where the crew knows what they are doing and actually treats you how a customer is supposed to be treated. read more

I have been taking my cars here since I moved in this region. This location is friendly and quick. They can get you out in less than 15 minutes. If your car has issues, they will advise of the issue. They are STAR Test Certified. They are not a SMOG Test & Repair Company. TEST only. If your car fails you need to visit a Test & Repair facility. Many think SMOG n' Go can do this. They do not. Recently, I took my 2004 Mazda3 2.3L with over 240K miles, to get it smogged once again. The first time was when I took my car out of Non-Op and got operational and it passed. While my car doesn't look the best exterior wise. Keeping up on the engine maintenance helps a lot. Now I'm not sure why people complain about this site or the retail itself. But I think its mainly due to the fact they don't research or go by hearsay. But here is a tip. Visit smogtips.com. This site can help you better understand about SMOG and what you can do ensure your car is air friendly. Thanks Guys!! read more

I've been a loyal customer of this business for my vehicle's smog checks, and while there are many options out there, I truly feel that this place stands out because of their genuine commitment to the community. Every time I visit, I see them supporting charitable organizations like the "Make-A-Wish Foundation," and today I noticed they're raising funds for "Chair the Hope." As a parent of a young adult with a disability, it touches my heart to see a business that not only cares about its customers but also actively supports and uplift marginalized members of society. The staff here are not only professional and efficient but also warm, personable, and sincere in their interactions. It's rare to find a business that combines quality service with such heartfelt community involvement. Just imagine if every business, big or small, embraced the spirit of "Smog N Go"--what a more compassionate, supportive, and beautiful world we would live in. I am forever grateful for their kindness and integrity, and I will continue to recommend this place to friends and family. More power to "Smog N Go"--they truly make a difference. read more

First time here. I was looking for a smog from a STAR station and got a few quotes on yelp. My Auto Surgeon suggested this place. The price is a little higher than the others, but the convenience of not driving further out towards Sac is worth it. Yelp or their website have $10 off, which covers a little over the certificate fee. I stopped by in the morning, handed the dmv documentation, and they were very upfront about the price. I went in to do the paperwork, and it only took 10-15 mins. read more

Came in for a smog check. service was fast and easy! Pricing was great too. Everyone was super nice

Incredibly fast when I took them in for a smog. They were busy but still took time to get me in and get me out. Lady at the front counter was sweet and friendly. Thank you for the smooth transaction!!! read more

If associates would pick up the phone it would be excellent. And never received my paperwork back went to DMV cannot register my car due to Lost paperwork. Tried calling smog and go to get information and cannot get through. read more

I needed a smog check and went to Smog 'N Go. I drove right up and was met by a service tech who took my car onto the shop while I went into the office to do the paper work. I was in and out in about 10 minutes and there were zero hidden fees. I was discounted $10 after showing a pic of the $10 coupon. I recommend this place if a smog check is needed. read more

There are so many options to get your car smogged, do not take it here. They are dishonest and not to be trusted. When you take your car to be smogged a pre check should be done to make sure it won't be an automatic fail due to a check engine light that hasn't been addressed. I was charged then told I failed for these monitors. After fixing my issue I returned for a retest where I was denied service because I questioned their practice. The young women working told me it was illegal to do any precheck before a test. The first thing they did before my retest was a pre check. Interesting, I asked why they do it after they were paid and not prior to original test. I was lied to again. I told the young women it's not your fault , you are being told a lie. There are plenty of honest shops around don't waste your time at this poorly run location. read more

Smog in and out in less than 30min can't beat that! Staff was quick and friendly! Definitely will be coming back for my next smog!

I've been trying to sell my car and needed a current smog. The car previously passed in August at a different location with no issues, but since the 90 days had expired, I went to SmogNGo on Saturday (11/22) to retest. They failed it for "blue smoke," even though I didn't see any. Thinking maybe the car just needed to be driven more, we changed the oil and drove it, then returned on Monday (11/24) for another test. It failed again for the same reason. To double-check, we immediately went to Smog Busters, and they passed it with no problems. Overall, I feel like SmogNGo was overly picky and a waste of time and money. Based on this experience, I won't be returning or recommending them. read more

Super quick!! I don't know how they do it. Use the coupon for $10 off. Yelp says I need 86 characters so this makes up for it.

Always fast, friendly, affordable... and easy! Smog and Go always has a competitive price and coupons are easy to find too!

Highly recommend this place. Here are some reasons why. 1. They're open weekends. You'd be surprised how many places in the Roseville/Rocklin area are only open M-F. What are people with 9-5 jobs supposed to do? Use their PTO on a smog check? Nope. 2. They are super affordable, compared to other places in the area! My smog check this year was the kind where I didn't need the star certification or whatever it's called, so the cost was only $60 (that was my price with a coupon I found on their website). Highly recommend grabbing that coupon before going. If you need the star certification thing, it's like $10 extra or so. 3. They're so fast. They quoted me 15 minutes, and it only took 5! And I didn't even have an appointment. I just showed up on a Saturday morning. 4. The people who work there are very nice, smart, and competent. You might be thinking this isn't something that I should be surprised by and it should just be expected. But if you think that, you're maybe from another country, or planet, haha. Anyway, I'll definitely come back here every year. I brought my DMV registration bill with me when I went and they looked at it and had my results sent straight to the DMV. So convenient. read more

Quick service and nice employees. 2nd time here and will be back for sure. Highly recommended!!'

I've been getting a lot of cars smog checked for a lot of years. Newer cars, old cars, cars with CARB executive orders. You name it. It seems like there's always a balance between a good deal, and a shop that's experienced and can do everything (older cars/ STAR certification). The good news about Smog 'N Go is they're consistent... their price is right on track with what normal shops are charging for a smog, and they can do oddball cars without breaking a sweat. The other bonus is that it's crazy fast getting in and out of there. I don't think I've ever waited more than 15 minutes total to get a smog check. The folks I've there dealt with have always been kind and respectful - I've decided I'm not searching around for the best deal when I can just get great consistency at a very fair price here. read more

Always fast service. Convenient location to Roseville and Rocklin. Stanford Ranch at Sunset.

Perfect name for this business, I can't believe how quickly this went. everyone was great, especially the receptionist in her fabulous maxi vintage coat. The mechanic was so nice too and best of all everything will be done with DMV today!! read more

This was my first time coming here and I came here because they were the only smog shop open on a Saturday, which is amazing and I really appreciate that. The inside was very clean and the staff was very nice a quick and accommodating. I got there at 8:05 AM and I left at 8:15 AM. They are very quick and very efficient. The prices are really good as well and I also got $10 off since I did the yelp check-in, which was great. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs a quick smog and who needs to go on a weekend because most of us work 9 to 5 Monday through Friday. read more

This location is so quick, I was in and out under 10 minutes for my recent smog check! The Yelp check in even saved me $10. Would definitely recommend them. I did stop by on a random weekday midday so there was nobody else there but me. I would imagine it might get busy in the evenings or weekends, but they have a waiting area inside and everyone I encountered was very friendly. read more

It was fast but not friendly in the slightest. I was greeted with an audible sigh when I walked in, eyes were rolled and more sighs when I spoke, keyboard was slammed with typing my information in and I was told " oh great now I have go get it" when my car was parked in the next parking lot (not far at all) because there was no parking upfront or in back of the store. Super uncomfortable, rude and cost me 74.00. But at least I know never to go back. read more

Called them to see what was the wait or if I needed to make an appointment. The young lady said it was first come first serve but the wait may be about 15mins. I asked about coupons or discounts and she offered to give me the $10 off coupon. When I pulled up, my car immediately directed to a bay for inspection. Was in and out and completely finished in under 10mins!!!! Fast reliable friendly would use them again ... read more

Just finished with the fastest, friendliest, funnest (?) smog check I have ever had... No joke! I pulled up at 2:15 in the afternoon and was welcomed by a very friendly young lady who came to my car window and let me know what to do. Before I knew it, I had barely warmed up my seat in the waiting room, when that same friendly young lady came back in and said everything's ready! that was at 2:30! These folks are fast and friendly, like I said. I will 100% be coming back the next time I need a smog! read more

A little pricier than I am used to ($70 for a regular smog check before $10 Yelp checkin discount) but the speed and convenience made it worth it. I think I was there around 8-9 minutes total. Service is pretty standard for an automotive shop. I can't wait to completely get rid of ICE vehicles so I don't have to do this again but while I have to I'll probably use this place. read more

Amazing! Returned to review Smog 'N Go six years to the day after my glowing 2018 review. Honestly, except acknowledging Julio, Tyler and Brian by name for their warm welcome, uplifting smiles, and professionalism, I have little to add to my previous review. Clearly, Smog 'N Go more than deserves a five star rating and enthusiastic recommendation for its continued excellent service and superb customer care. read more

11:30 AM on a Friday, not sure how long I would need to wait for this star smog facility. Other than just a little confusion with all the spaces coned off and seemingly no cars around giving the initial appearance that the business was closed, the servicemen walked out as I pulled up, greeted me, and took me inside. 10 minutes later, I was back on my way with my car smogged! No problem using the $10 off coupon from Yelp. Check out their Make-A-Wish plaques, very inspiring. read more

Quick straightforward service. There were 2 people ahead of me and it probably took 15-20 minutes for my car to be finished.

Fast and friendly service. I had to get my father-in-laws mini-van smogged so I could get it registered. I was in and out of there in less than 15 minutes. They sent the paperwork to DMV on their computers and I was done. I also had a $10 off coupon so I donated it to their wheelchair foundation drive!! Definitely two thumbs up! read more
