Mo had great customer service! He was fast, super helpful, and most importantly, honest. He took the time to make sure all of my monitors were ready before testing my vehicle so I wouldn't waste my time or money on a failed test. I really appreciated that! He also gave me the online discount without me even having to ask, which was a nice surprise. The whole process was quick and easy, and I'll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this place to anyone needing a smog check! read more

Very friendly and great prices. Was in and out in no time for Smog. Highly recommend.

I have been coming here for a few years now. The gentleman that now sits in the front is sarcastic funny and super polite. I really appreciate him. They are quick and at a reasonable price that you can't beat. read more

Honestly the lady was nice when I called so I decided to go in, even though, even with a coupon, they were a priced bit more than their competitors. The guy at the desk was very short with his responses and not nice at all, definitely shouldn't be in the customer service area helping customers . Then he said keys, as I was retrieving them out of my purse, I said yes I'm getting them for you. I said so how's your day going? Trying to at least get a smile out of that gloomy look, nope, he responded ok, didn't ask about mine, ok well moving on , so I just said good glad to hear it and proceeded along. So about 10 minutes later he came back and said it passed, yay, then I asked if I needed to show him my coupon and he said he already deducted it didn't I see it on the price estimate I said oh no sorry and then I paid and left. Honestly the fastest place I have ever been to to have my car worked on. I am thinking they are an ok, but maybe he just needs to work on his attitude Toward paying customers and treat people a little nicer instead of acting like I am bothering him watching judge Mathis court. Which he was really into it read more

Don't bother if you have a newer car....if you can't see the engine because of a shroud or cover they can't help. Use the one on Douglas i

Have never been her before. Came to front desk and the guy working it was a completely rude and unprofessional. Attitude for no reason. I asked if I could pull my car around back and he mumbled. "It's just a corvette". Yes well it's my corvette I paid for. Would not recommend coming here endless you want to be treated horribly. read more

Came in to get a normal smog and had nothing but attitude and disrespect from the person at the counter would highly not recommend.

This was my first time to Smog Busters, in Loomis. I didn't even know it was there. It is next door to Napa Auto Parts. When I walked in there was a customer ahead of me. It was only about five minutes before the technician came out from the back bay area. The technician, Maurice (Mo), finished up with that customer and immediately started helping me. Mo was very pleasant. From the time he entered my info into computer, moving my car into back bay, completing the smog check, and finishing up payment, I was out of there in about 20 minutes. That was the fastest, and easiest smog check I have ever had, and I have had a lot of smog checks over the years. I will absolutely return to Smog Busters. Thank you Maurice! read more

I came in for a routine smog check and left without one due to the attitude and confusion of the person working the counter. I waited while he finished what he was doing. When he asked if I needed a smog, I said yes. He then asked if I had paperwork. I said no. He responded, "No paperwork at all?" and proceeded to list off things like registration and even the title, which struck me as sarcastic and unnecessary for a basic smog check. At that point it was clear this wasn't going to be a professional or straightforward interaction, so I walked out. California smog checks are electronic, and plenty of shops handle this process without making customers feel like they've done something wrong. This one didn't, and the tone alone was enough to take my business elsewhere. read more

Great place to get your smog done! I was in and out, top tier service and super friendly man that helped us out. I am very pregnant at the moment and he handed me the remote to watch tv. very thoughtful! He had no problem us asking amillion questions cause we were trying to sell our car and needed smog to do it even though he really didn't need to answer any of those questions. For those mundane tasks like smog its really a game changer when you're dealing with friendly people. 10/10 recommend read more

This place is near by Loomis. First time came here. This place only has one guy behind the desk and he is also the guy will bring your car to the back to do the smog check. Can't say much but he was fast. One person in front of me. Then he did it pretty quickly and then came back after that helped me. Once it's done, did the payment and ready to go. He also honor the coupon. Reasonable price, fast service. Not a long wait time. Definitely recommend this place to my friends and family. Especially they do have the coupon that help save some $. Thank you for the service. read more

I called, I told the person I have a mid engine car, she said fine. Come on over veg are not busy. I get there and the technician who sees my car and says park in front. I go in and there's no one one there. They have a bowl of mandarins, which is nice even though they are very underripe. Eventually, the same technician comes back and tells me he's not allowed to remove the car cover on my Porsche Cayman(mid engine) and so I wasted an hour of my time Because of incompetence. The technician was nice enough, but should've recognized my car as having a mid engine when he saw it. This was the fourth smog shop I've been to today trying to get my car smog. All the other ones were kind enough to tell me right away they couldn't do the job. It's keeping me waiting for 45 minutes that got a bit annoying. read more

The first time I went to Smog Busters I had a great experience, an older gentleman helped me out. He was friendly, knowledgeable and fast. We had a pleasant conversation and he interacted well with everyone else that was in the lobby. My most recent visit wasn't pleasant. A middle aged gentleman was working. Not friendly, not nice and he seemed to be irritated in general. I would understand if he was busy, but I appeared to be the only person in the shop. I was in the wrong for not bringing a registration or a current one. Unfortunately I had lost it. He said he needed it to type in the vin and license plate number. I said I don't have it, but I can get it. That's when his attitude shifted from irritated to rude. He said you don't have an old one anywhere. I said no, and told him I can go somewhere else. He said fine and I said I can find someone else to take my money. As happy as I was by my first visit the second visit made sure I'll forever drive right past Smog Busters and go somewhere else. Maybe the guy was having a bad day but me having a bad day doesn't mean I you can give people bad or indifferent service. read more

Well, where to begin...If you go to this location and a fellow by the name of Maurice is working, you may want to turn around and go find somewhere else to get your smog check done. He was extremely rude to the customer in front of me, before failing the vehicle because HE wasn't able to find the O2 Sensor. When it was my turn I was literally greeted with, "What do you want?"... I had left my registration in the car so I had to go out and get it, no problem. When I handed it to Maurice, he says, "You okay? You seemed a little offended when I asked you to go get your registration." At this point I was confused and wondered if I had done something, but based on how he treated the previous customer it seems that this is just the average level of customer service you'll get from Maurice. I intend to find out who runs this shop and make a formal complaint. Completely unacceptable. read more

Visit on 12/9/2022. SMOG BUSTERS (Loomis) is very close to my house and the guy who works there is always a professional. Pricing is fair and the smog check always gets done in a timely and efficient manner. Also they're great about sending the record to DMV right away. The last time I was in I was able to renew/pay my registration on CA DMV website within 4 hours of completing the smog. Nice work! Will always come back (every 2 years) - as long as they're open. read more

Great working with Nick to satisfy a smog on one of my vehicles. The location (Loomis) was near my house and I was in and out of the shop in a decent amount of time. The price was great. Thanks! read more

Customer service is huge for me. I left the Roseville location yesterday because the attendant there was rude. Not a great impression for a first time visit. I needed to find a location where we can get our other cars smogged too. So I visited another location. Jimmy at the Loomis location was kind and applied the company coupon when I mentioned it. (Enter your email address on the Smog Busters site to access the coupon just in case. It saved me $20. The site says they'll accept a mobile or print copy of it. ) Jimmy was able to take my info, no fuss and got my car in and out with a smile. Thank you Jimmy! read more

I like this place. Went there today for a smog check, done in 15 minutes. Took me right away. No waiting. Recommended.

I brought my car in to get a smog check and the guy behind the counter was great. The shop is clean and I appreciated being able to watch Fox News while I was waiting for my service. The guy here thanked me for bringing in all my required paperwork and my car was in and out promptly. I highly recommend it unless you prefer watching MSNBC. A shop in the downtown area will probably meet your needs. read more

Needed smog for renewal and forgot to call ahead - thankfully I arrived shortly after the shop opened and they got me right in. Whole time was maybe 20 minutes with paperwork and payment. I call today to ask for some special customer care for my elderly mother who needed to get a car smogged immediately. The lady that helped me was so gracious and patient and alerted the gentleman at the Loomis location that my mother was coming in. I was also astonished at the price by the way, it was very reasonable. After the successful smog check my mother apparently left her purse with her cell phone in it and drove off. Lisa who made the appointment for me called me and notified me that they were about to close and they would hold my mother's purse for the next day. My mother's cell phone is her only communication and they were about to close. I let them know that my mother absolutely needed her phone. This very kind woman volunteered to drive from the other location 10 miles away to pick up the purse and deliver it to my mother at her home. I have never experienced customer service with such generosity and graciousness. Please send all of your family and friends to Smog Busters, they are located in Loomis, California and also Roseville, California. Hats off to some good old fashion kindness! Thank you also to the employees at the Loomis Location for taking care of her. read more

Highly recommend SMOG Busters. Easy and fast - in and out in 15 mins. And they have a coupon!

Smog Busters in Loomis saved me from a disaster of a day. My usual smog place in Lincoln said they couldn't see me for a week. A week!? For a smog!? Luckily the first place Yelp recommended to me was the Loomis Smog Busters. I was in and out in under 15 minutes with no appointment. The price was significantly cheaper than my usual place. So they are now my new go to smog place. Way to go Smog Busters!!! Thank you! A+++++ read more

These guys take the pain out of getting a smog inspection, it was fast, easy and the young man was completely professional and courteous.

After being a customer at the location on Douglas blvd for a few years I was excited to learn about this new location closer to my home. When I arrived I was greeted in a very friendly manner and was in and out in what felt like less than 10 minutes! I can say I've never had my car smogged so fast! They took care of all the work notifying the DMV and I was able to complete my DMV registration within a couple of hours. Great service and all around and I will for sure be sending my friends and family in the area over to Smog Busters. read more

Getting my car smogged has never been a thing I enjoy. Today that experience changed! Instead of being greeted by old crusty guys who have little patience and take their time and being banished to an outdated and dirty waiting room, I was warmly greeted by a lovely lady with whom I shared casual conversion while the smog was efficiently completed! There were no issues, I felt totally comfortable and even got a coupon discount! The location was sooo convenient too! Thank you to the awesome people at Smog Busters! I really appreciate the level of customer care. read more

Clean inviting space, friendly gentleman behind the counter. Had two vehicles in and out in under half an hour.

This place was great. I'm so glad I brought my car here to be smogged. No wait, decent price, and bonus that I didn't have to wear a mask and neither was the employee. Its like normal life exists again. And before anyone panics, literally there was only the two of us present. If you give this place negative reviews because he is exercising his freedom, get a life and stay home yourself if youre so scared. He was incredibly nice and professional. I was done and out the door in 15 minutes. Even better that he had Newsmax on in the lobby. Felt right at home. Thanks for great service! read more
