I am extremely saddened that I have to write a bad review. After using Cortney in 2021 when I bought my home, I booked him/his company again to help me move out of state. The process was easy and he was easy to work with UNTIL he damaged my property and has started ignoring me. I have called, texted, DM'd on Instagram and no response. I have an expensive table that was damaged in the move and a computer chair that wasn't as expensive or new that was damaged. He took pictures and told me that he would follow up with me after insurance and two months later he has started to ignore me. I go out of my way to support Black businesses because that is the type of woman I am, and I will remain that way. However, because I try to do right by us, when I am wronged, it hurts that much more. Before moving, I spoke with Cortney and told him how much the table meant to me and that it wasn't a cheap price tag. He assured me he had insurance and he'd be careful and if anything happened he'd be sure to cover it with insurance. This was done in email (writing) and by phone (verbal). Yet, still nothing and I moved 6/21 (it's 8/27) and he's blatantly leaving me on read and not responding. If you have valuable furniture I'd be extremely cautious choosing this company for your moving services. read more

(5) Stars Review Smith Superior Services are indeed Superior. Courtney and his Team is professional, personable and efficient. Once the needs assessment was completed a quote was offered for the project. I accepted the quote and a contract was sent over in a timely manner. Signed agreement, time and date of service was confirmed. The 2 man crew showed up on time dressed in their Smith Superior T-shirts and black pants. They were polite, courteous and they moved the furniture to its new location skillfully not touching or bumping walls or other household objects. I was very pleased with the services rendered. The price quote was straight forward and reasonable for the task at hand. I will tell my friends and family about Smith Superior Services, and I will also use them for future projects. I could not have been happier with this company for my move. They were so incredibly careful with my belongings, courteous, friendly, etc. Moving day is ALWAYS stressful and I expected just that - to be completely stressed! BUT as soon as they showed up to my home I basically had permission to sit down for the first time in weeks and let them take over. They made an extra stop for me to pick up a large piece of furniture from my mother's house, and after only being around them for a small amount of time my mom couldn't stop talking about how impressed she was for days afterwards. I had a last minute move for some things to a storage facility and they came out quickly and handled all my things with care at a reasonable rate. I moved back in July and these guys were great. Lower, much more competitive rate, great work. It was a day that was nearing 100 degrees, and they pushed themselves through it without a single complaint so they get things done. I ended up giving them a ton of water because I was concerned they were working themselves so hard without asking for any. Kudos to these guys, they did a great job. read more
