Quality Care Movers moved my furniture on September 9 I paid 577 to move and when I say furniture they also moved my washer and dryer my washer is not even a year old and I have not had any problems with it and it's also a whirl pool when I went to use it after the move it was broken I called the repair man from Kenmore they told me five parts were broken inside the washer so I called Quality Care and told them they said I needed a receipt so I sent them the receipt and I showed them the boxes from the repair company and they going to tell me that m washer had to be broken before it cost me 450 to get itfixed and they text me and told me that the state only requires them to pay sixty cents per pound and they won't answer my call please do not use there service read more

I have used this moving company twice and they are A-ok! In my book. They show up on time and do a great job at wrapping up your items so they are safe ! read more

I am sorry that I didnt post until now because I truly didn't think of it. In the near future I am intend to ask this company to move my granddaughter from her current home into an apartment. My experience happened 3 years ago, and it was excellent. Quality Care moved furniture for me, and did an excellent job, at the price quoted, $200. I am a satisfied customer. They are the worst moving company I have dealt with And I have moved from Canton mi to Dear born height Mi was quote was one price then up on moving over charged was doubled? they did a rush move plus I was told by manager /owner Joe the 2 guys that did my move did a lots of damaged plus left everything in garage for me to move in new home .still waiting for warranties to respond by Joe its ben a month and still waiting I will be taking action ,and have reported to BBB still they have not responded to them if anyone have gone threw what I have gone threw with a handy Cap husband I am a senior citizen that was taken advantage of ........... read more

Quality care movers showed no regard to my belongings when they moved me. Sad thing was the first move went great. 2nd went horribly wrong. Their lack of care caused damage to my goods, and Joe the owner did not return calls to remedy the situation. Their truck broke down, and I was over charged for the time spent moving. 1st move with them from GR to Pontiac was 6 hours. No issues. Called to move again, 20 miles, took 6.25 hours!?! This was a horrid company to deal with and i'm going to tell my story for everyone to judge and get these guys out of business after i was disgusted with their service. called and got a quote for a 1 bedroom house move which included the following items: living room (two sofas, two chairs, 4 coffee tables) two dining tables and 12 chairs one bedroom set bbq grill two tv's about 20 boxes and 20 random items (vacuum, rugs, mirror etc) quoted for 2-2.5 hours, which sounded about right since i had done many moves before of approximately 3 bedroom houses complete with appliances in under 5 hours. quoted $190 for first two hours and $70/hour after got an appointment for saturday between 1-1:30pm well here is where the story goes south, movers showed up at 5:15 after several calls to the dispatcher (scott) which many of were not answered or returned. two movers showed up then and performed a 1 bedroom house move in 6 hours and 45 minutes which was 8 miles away from pick up location. during those gruesome 6:45 minutes the following occurred: one of the two men spent approximately 2 hours disassembling one bed frame, 4 coffee tables (4 allan wrench screws each), table with four screws, and one chest mirror. all this was done with manual tools, wrenches, allan wrenches, pliers, which i could have done in 20 mins with a drill and couple attachments. the agony continued on at the drop off location where it took approx same amount time to assemble MOST of this stuff and left a few things un-assembled (2 coffee tables and the bed frame). while this "professional mover" was on his joyful voyage with the good old allan wrench russian roulette, the other one was packing the truck with the boxes and the random items, which at the end of the loading process realized that my two tv's and bbq grill will not fit, which was another 30 minutes of reorganizing and unloading and loading to get the grill in and had to leave the tv's behind for the owner "joe" to come later and pick it up and drop off, so i had to go back later and meet "joe" at the house to load the tv's up and few other items left behind, while the two men were at it unloading the truck and assembling few pieces of furniture. DURING ALL THIS, I WAS NOT ONLY WATCHING I WAS ALSO HELPING LOAD AND UNLOAD THE ENTIRE TRUCK. once we are all set and done and got hit with a $532 bill for a 1 bedroom house move and expressed my disgust to the owner himself "joe" all he could say was "it is what it is" next day, after plugging in the tv, found that the 50 inch plasma is no longer working/powering on, dining table legs were snatched out of place, paint scratched, dings on doors and walls. anyways, there are a lot of other companies out there, this was my experience with this one, my advice is to stay away find someone else, and if they show up with manual tools to dissassemble your furniture (oldest trick in the books) know your in for a long haul, i was desperate and had to move that day and it was the end of the day already otherwise would have never let them start that job. read more

Wish I could give these bozos no starts. I called this guy and said they were booked for the day I needed help. Then I get a call back and was trying to charge me WAY more than advertised. After I said I'll just go to uhaul and get a truck from them, he laughed. Real class act and very professional huh? Oh by the way, my co worker said they broke a very expensive glass table and would not help him get a new one or anything. They even blamed him for the glass braking even though he never wrapped it or even touched it. This company is horrible. Better service from crack heads. At least they will treat your stuff like it was worth a million dollars. Go else where. Do yourself a favor and hire a crackhead before you call these asses. You will regret it. read more

Chris & Mike helped me move my 2BHK apartment. They were really nice, even though We were tight on time but they made sure to do their best & finished 10 mins earlier. They followed the directions very well & nothing broke while moving. Took extra care with fragile stuff. Also assembled our beds & couch. Great guys & highly recommend, its worth it totally! My Wife and Ihired Quality care moving to help me move an extremely heavy item from the upstair of my home to the basement of our home. Joe (Owner) was extremely polite and professional during the entire process. He was very meticulous on making sure our carpeting and hardwood floors in our home were covered with moving blankets so no damage would take place. HORRIBLE!! This business also operates as Joe's Downriver or Quality Care Movers. MPSC #35398 I arranged my (long distance but in state) move with this company, nearly 2 weeks in advance. Much dialogue, prices discussed & agreed upon, schedule set. Move set to start at 1pm, the day after Thanksgiving. I double checked at the beginning of that week, yes we're all good. Day of the move, I text at 12:20, "I'll see you at 1, right?" I get the response, "probably closer to 2, they're still unloading the truck. Your move is being handled by my business partner, Joe. He still needs the full drop off address, please text it to him at 313-544-6783." NOTE: I had already provided this information the previous week. I texted Joe at approximately 12:30pm, and gave him the address. When he didn't reply, I texted "ok?" He replied, "got it, still waiting for the truck to unload," at 1pm. I responded, "when should I expect to see you?" & he said, "I'll let you know when the truck is unloaded," refusing to even give me a time frame. At 2:15pm, I called Joe. Said he was still waiting for the truck to unload. I said, "if your guys' time is worth $100/hour, how much is my time worth? You're going on an hour and a half late already." Joe said, "that's enough," & hung up on me. I called his partner back, who I had been conducting business with all along, retold my & Joe's conversation, expressed my frustration, & asked him to contact Joe to see when/if they were coming. I don't even know what "that's enough" means. He calls back, states they're still unloading the truck, mentions they even have a move after mine. NOTE: Assuming my load up was done in 2 hours, they still had an hour and a half each way, of drive time. And unload time. How could there be a move after mine? He continues to say how it's difficult to move with a frustrated customer before they've even arrived, makes the 4 hour move difficult, that it IS the end of the month after all; everyone is moving and "we're not starved for business." WHAT?!?! He continues to tell me they'll be there after they unload the truck (is now 2:45pm). By now, I am extremely angry, but what can I do? My house is packed, my notice is given to the landlord, I've arranged time off work for THIS DAY to move... Still no movers at 4pm. Refuse to respond to phone calls or texts to either number. At 5pm, I start calling other companies. Because of the late notice and urgency, I wind up paying about double what I had budgeted, for the very unprofessional Quality Movers aka Quality Care Movers aka Joe's Downriver. BEWARE! read more

My experience with quality care moving was outstanding! They moved a very heavy gunsafe for me at a very reasonable price. No damage to the safe itself and more importantly no damage to my old or new house, which would have been very easy to do when maneuvering a 500lb safe up and down flights of stairs! read more

I ordered an adjustable bed base online. The store owner was in Alabama. He convinced me that I didn't need white glove delivery, even though I told him the item would have to go up a flight of stairs. The base was delivered, it was all one piece, and 218 lbs! We could not lift it. I called the store owner, explained the problem, and he said he would try to find a company to move it ASAP, for the $100 it would have cost me when I ordered the bed. Quality Care Moving to the rescue! I was worried about this company, because it had no website (the new name is Home One Service--I think--and it's not fully changed to that yet), but I found several reviews under Quality Care, so I made an appointment. I'm so happy I did! Darrel and Josh arrived on time. They looked a little rough around the edges, but were super nice, professional, and strong! They got the base up to the bedroom with no problem, and knew exactly how to set it up. They removed all the cardboard, plastic and pallet.
