I always would get a lingering bill from my dental provider saying I owe more than the insurance company paid for preventative care. 2. They always claimed I needed extra work or my teeth would fall out any day now. 3. There offices were either out dated or too fancy which tells me they are over charging. 4. The Hygienist weren't personable. 5. The Dentist wasn't personable. Then I discovered Tellman. I have now been going there for over 6 years and none of the above have ever been an issue. When I go in the first person I see always remembers my name and things about me personally. She says Hello Sheree! How are the kids or, how was your drive from downtown, things like that. I have never ever waited longer than 2-3 minutes before I'm called back. My hygienist is Jessica. She also always remembers me and we have gotten to be very close patient/hygienist friends so our conversations always pick up from where we left off. As long as I have been going I have NEVER been told I need extra services. This is HUGE for me. They don't make up random stuff just to get more money. Now my husband also goes and they have recommended things that he needs but he really did need them for example a filling fell out. Yep definitely need that taken care of. My daughter also goes. She was convinced she needed braces. He said nope, we can fix the issue without having you spend thousands. It cost me maybe $200 instead. Essentially I'm saying they are trustworthy. I used to live around the corner from them and now I live 30 minutes away. I past a million dental offices I'm sure but I will continue to go here because of the trust and they make me feel like I'm more than a insurance claim or money. Bravo Tellman Dentistry!

Dr. Tellman's practice is probably one of the most advanced and professional in the city. They have the capability to do all dental work from maintenance to cosmetics. They can do whitening, invisalign, veneers, bonding, porcelain crowns, laser dentistry, cleanings, bridges, dentures, filings, gum disease procedures, implants, root canals and even sleep apnea/snoring treatments. Also for root canals, no multiple visits here. They have the ability in house to create the custom crowns so root canals are a single visit. Dr. Tellman's staff here are the best in the business. They are very professional, respectful, polite and great at what they do. Dr. Tellman himself is a very kind man and an amazing dentist!! Like i said earlier, there is no other dentist i would ever want to go to. I want to add an embarrassing but true statement. Since 1996 i had 2 large gaps in my visits to Dr. Tellman. When i came back i needed major work done in my mouth, both times. I was given the brief you better stop doing this to yourself look but was not judged. He really does care about his patients and loves what he does.

He or his staff could've mentioned this when we scheduled the appointment, but they did not. I was disappointed I'd have to make a second trip, but I was easy going about it. "Fair enough. Let's get me scheduled for a cleaning, and then we'll reschedule the procedure no problem." Then, he told me he needs to charge me for the visit when literally all he did was tell me I needed a cleaning. I politely raised the question to the staff as I was checking out. "I'm confused. Is it your policy to charge people when you did no procedure and did no cleaning? I was in the chair for approximately one minute." They explained that it was their policy. I paid the bill and left. A few days later I receive a letter from him in the mail. He asked me not to come back and he called me a liar. I was flabbergasted. I didn't agree with his practice of charging a fee for no work being done, but I was never rude to him or his staff. I will not be going back. You won't have to ask me twice. There are much better options nearby by professional, courteous dentists. Stay away from Walker!

He said he knows the perfect dentist who is his personal dentist, Dr Ward! He shared how wonderful Dr. Ward is! I called his office asking for a new patient appointment and I couldn't believe how soon I was scheduled an appointment! I had 2 known issues to be addressed and Dr. Ward found one more important issue. His practice is all inclusive with everything needed for routine dentistry and orthodontia, including a lab where he made me a new crown!! Yep, you read that correctly! The most amazing thing for me was that he provided so many interventions in 2 visits where my previous dentist would have provided all the same things in 4-5 visits, if not more! I also do not have all the words I need to express my gratitude for every person I had any type of contact with! Everyone was so personable and treated me with great respect! I questioned why that was necessary since I'm using Medicaid (CareSource). Instead of clearly explaining the reason why, she responded very quietly and whispered, I couldn't understand what she said , because i couldn't hear her. She didn't repeat herself or properly answer my question she just moved on to her next question. That interaction didn't sit right with me. If they need that information, she should be able to clearly explain why. Because of that experience, I'm now unsure about keeping this appointment it raised some red flags for me.

When I calmly showed proof and tried to explain, the staff's response was eye-rolling, visible impatience, and zero effort to help resolve an error that was not mine. I was left feeling dismissed, unwelcome, and frankly uncomfortable. I can't say why I was treated that way, but it's hard not to wonder whether appearance or background played a role when basic courtesy and professionalism disappear so quickly. When I asked for their names to document the incident, they refused and told me to leave. I was in for an evaluation in 4 weeks then 1 week later for the root canal. The team at the Noblesville office were welcoming and kind. Dr. Morretton came in after staff did their x-ray of tooth #4 and explained the planned treatment and numbing needed. He numbed the area before injecting the area in front and back of the tooth, felt pressure but no pain. He the did some drilling and locating the nerve canals, then did each root canal. Advised to take Tylenol 500 mg and ibuprofen 600 mg every 6 hours as needed for pain and start before the anesthetic wore off. Took Tylenol initially as had in the car and took naproxen 440 mg when I arrived home. No pain after the 1st dose of pain meds. Pleased with the care and results received.
