Communication from the front desk to the exam room is clear and comforting. They know you are maybe hurting, or a little anxious, or uncertain what happens next. The folks there will listen, inform, and explain according to your individual circumstance. I was was treated gently, but with absolute confidence. So let me start by saying this is the CUTEST place I've been! I loved the waiting room. The office had a very homey feel to it which was comforting. With that being said the staff was PHENOMENAL. I absolutely hate the dentist and of course I was in because I was ready to pull my tooth out myself. From Amanda to Dr. Kamer. Everyone made sure that I was comfortable. I cannot overstate how wonderful Dr. Kamer and her staff were. When I needed a root canal right before a big trip, they managed to fit me in and got me taken care of. The procedure itself was relatively painless and they were very conscious of checking in with me every few minutes to make sure I was comfortable. The biggest problem during the procedure was just boredom. The post-procedure instructions and prescriptions were clear and worked perfectly. I was unfortunate to need 2 root canals within a month but was fortunate to have been referred to Dr. Kaner. I was able to be seen within a short amount of time. She and her staff were friendly and caring. The procedure and the cost were explained and they made me comfortable. I found Dr. Kamer as she's in network for my insurance. I lost a filling and part of a tooth and needed a root canal sooner than later. Donna at Dr. Kamer's office was great on the phone and she got me in the next morning. The office itself is beautiful. More importantly, Dr. Kamer, Dr. Dubois and Emma were very kind and calming. I had a root canal several years ago with another dentist and had a lot of discomfort for years afterward. The team explained how the procedure would be done differently and reassured me that I shouldn't have the same issues this time and so far they have been spot on! The procedure went off without a hitch. I didn't need gas. The numbing shots they gave me were more than adequate to control pain. I felt like the procedure went fairly quickly. Dr. Kamer gave me the post op instructions and she LISTENED TO ME when I told about my previous experience. She recommended some ways to minimize the discomfort I still sometimes experience with the old root canal site also and so far that is helping immensely since I currently have to avoid chewing on the side of the new root canal. Donna explained to me the breakdown on what was covered by insurance and I was pleasantly surprised that my out of pocket expense was what I would consider minimal. Have to shout out Dr. Kamer as a former nurse!! She started her career in nursing and I have no doubt that contributes to her compassion and willingness to listen to patients. I'm not sure I have enough amazing things to say about this group. I am not one to leave reviews often but this group well deserves it. It started from my phone call with Donna. I needed an endodontist quickly due to an issue with one of my old root canals. Donna was patient, empathetic on the phone and was able to get me in that afternoon! Dr. Kamer and her partner were phenomenal!! They both were kind and thoroughly explained the entire situation to me. She was very understanding. She was professional, friendly, and the whole procedure was relatively painless. I can't thank her enough for her helping me during that day when I was in significant pain. Had a root canal this morning (5/11/22), and it was a great experience. The office is very warm and welcoming which creates calmness. The staff could not be more friendly and helpful in prepping you for the procedure and taking care of the paper work and Dr Kamer is fantastic. I had zero pain and she took extreme care to make sure I was comfortable during the whole procedure. I would highly recommend Dr Kamer to anyone. A trip to the dentist is enough to make grown men afraid to the point of putting it off for years. When I was told to seek the help of an endodontist I was afraid and worried about what they were going to do. My entire experience with Absolute Endodontics has been nothing short of wonderful and I highly recommend that anyone needing a root canal or other treatment come here. First of all they were able to see me within a week of my calling to schedule an appointment and when you are dealing with tooth pain nothing is more wonderful than a quick turnaround. I went into the appointment full of dread about this complicated procedure (root canal) with many questions and a few misconceptions. The staff was absolutely wonderful and took the time to reassure me all while explaining the procedure in easy to understand terms. There was no wait in the lobby before I was brought back except to fill out the required paperwork. From start to finish I estimate I was in the chair for about an hour and a half so plan accordingly. I am incredibly nervous around needles and have had an adverse reaction to traditional novocane before so that was the part I was dreading the most. The staff actually said they had an alternative and I was able to be given that instead which is something my previous general dentist never did! I opted to use nitrous oxide (laughing gas) and it was the best decision for me. My procedure was less than 24 hours ago at the time of writing this and I am already experiencing far less pain than after any cavity filling I have ever had. Compared to the pain I was in before and leading up to this procedure this is nothing! I will recommend this place to all my friends and family as I truly have never been more comfortable in a dentist office. Thanks Absolute Endodontics! read more

I read previous post and my experience was the total opposite. Mia Lee I would suggest giving them another chance. I've actually been to Dr. Kamer twice and everyone was absolutely amazing! The first time I was referred by my dentist and the root canal was done under gas (complimentary) with practically no pain! Everyone in the office was extremely kind and welcoming. They talked me through every step and I never felt rushed or ignored. The second time I went was actually yesterday! I called on Monday and they got me in the next day. My dentist sent me over for another root canal. I talked to the doctors about all the pain I was in and they took their time and took pictures and scans and found out I actually had an infected wisdom tooth. They looked at my previous root canal and took out my wisdom tooth in less than 20 minutes and I am now pain free. They are the absolute best and I will recommend them to anyone I meet! Dr. Kamer and her assistant even called me (separately) today to check on me. Honestly, they are the best at what they do here and I appreciate the time and care they spent on me, it is much appreciated! Also, the decor in the office is beautiful. I just wanted to share my experience with Dr. Kamar and her staff. This is my 2nd time going to this office and they are still the very best. Amanda and Thomas had me in good spirits throughout my whole ordeal. They are 2 people you want around you while your under stress at a dentist office. Thomas on many occasions had me laughing so hard I completely forgot about my anxiety. Amanda is very knowledgeable and takes her time explaining what options you have all the way down to insurance cost. Dr.Kamar of course was very caring towards me and my family. She showed empathy and compassion even when I freaked out during the procedure and when my husband called with concerns late into the night. She is very honest and does her very best to keep the client happy and gives the best results. The pricing is reasonable and the atmosphere of the office is warm and very welcoming. I didn't even get in the door with this one. I need a root canal and was referred to Absolute Endodontics by the Dentist. I called to schedule an appointment. Like a lot of people in this world, I don't have dental insurance, and I have never had a root canal, so, I had questions. I told the receptionist, Grace, that I needed to schedule an appointment to have this taken care of as soon as possible because there is infection involved for which I am taking antibiotics and I needed some information including cost. Just a ball park. It's tooth #19 and it already has a cap. Does a root canal cost $300 or $3000? I had no idea. What type of payment do they accept? Credit card, or cash only? How invasive is this? Do they put you under, can I drive myself home? And, I'm disabled. I have a few health concerns about anesthesia, etc...She told me that she would return my call within 10 minutes to answer my questions. She didn't call back. Six hours later I call back and Grace answers again. Grace then tells me that the doctors have been busy with patients and that she hasn't gotten the opportunity to speak with anyone yet about my questions. She seems annoyed, like I should know that. She makes another promise to call me back just a little later, before the end of the day. I tell her that I will be in a meeting and to please leave me a voicemail message. She does not call back. There is no voicemail message. The following morning I still haven't heard back from Grace. So, after lunch, I call one more time. After all, I was referred by a Dentist that I trust and would like to make my appointment with Absolute Endodontics, I just have these few questions that need to be answered. Grace is now obviously frustrated that I have called back. I can tell she had really hoped I would just go away. And I have no idea why. I mean, I'm a potential new client, right? She does not apologize for ignoring me. After being put on hold for about five minutes (because she is busy putting supplies away) she comes back onto the phone and after more minutes of searching, now has the estimate I called for 24 hours earlier. I start to ask a few questions about sedation, etc... because, again, I have never had a procedure like this done and of course, again, I explain my medical concerns. Grace then asked me if I am in a wheelchair because they are on the 4th floor "and you can get up here, but it's tricky." She then wanted to focus on payment and told me that they do not do payment plans because "being nice didn't pay off, she has a lot of collections on the books right now." She told me to call Care Credit and I could make payments to them. If Grace had just listened to me, she would have known that I would be paying cash. I just wanted to know howmuch cash that was going to be. Grace then point blank told me "I've never had someone ask so many questions before, we have a website you can go to..." Really, Grace? In my initial phone call, I let Grace know that I am disabled with no dental insurance. So, I believe, that in Grace's eyes, I was not a potential client which I also believe is why Grace had no intention of returning my initial phone call. I believe that Grace felt like I would not be able to afford the luxury endodontic experience that their website describes because of said disability and lack of dental insurance. Guess what, Grace? I'm a cash paying customer. You can check my records with my dentist. Or anyone I do business with for that matter. I always pay in full. With cash. Okay, one time, I think I used my credit card. Either way, my bills get paid. And, honestly, in the almost ten years that I have had these physical challenges, this disability, I have never before felt discriminated against. So, I guess I am actually REALLY lucky. But, I've got to tell you, this first time stings a little bit. After my final phone call with Absolute Endodontics I got a new referral to Indy Endodontics where I spoke to Libby who was outrageously lovely. She really wanted me to come there and get this tooth fixed right away. She answered all of my questions right on the spot, no call back, and I made the appointment right in that first phone call. Really Libby? You really made me almost look forward to a root canal? Now THAT'S customer service! read more

My dentist referred me to Absolute for a root canal. I had no idea what to expect except, hearing about other people's experience when they had a root canal, which was alarming!! However, after visiting Absolute, it was nothing short of wonderful. Their team, from the moment I entered to the time I left, was right on point. Their level of customer service, educating me on the procedure (before and after), managing my expectations, and having sensitivity during my procedure was more than I expected. It's a calm, relaxing environment, which was comforting to me as well. I'm not sure after reading Mia Lee r's comment what her issues were? They have an elevator. I needed a root canal and my dentist referred me to his colleague which is not in my network. They told me it would be $1200.00 out of pocket and $800.00 with my insurance. I decided to get a second opionion. I called my provider and they referred me to Absolute Endodontics. I needed a root canal fast, I was in pain and going into Labor Day weekend. Grace was fantastic. She accommodated my schedule and was able to slide me in on Friday morning. I was very apprehensive about the dentist as I never had a good experience. They all always left me with pain. Before the procedure, the dental assistant spoke with me and assured me I was in VERY good hands. Dr. Kamer spent all of the time I needed to feel comfortable. I'm in the medical field and that doesn't happen. The Dr and staff didn't know that until after the procedure. They used a local gel then a needle to numb my mouth.....NO PAIN before they started. Nitrous Oxide was used as well. I DON'T like the dentist but the Doctors and staff made me feel Very Comfortable. During the procedure they were always asking me if I was comfortable. I did not feel any pain during the procedure. Then they were finished. After the procedure I spoke with the staff and Dr Kamer for about an additional half hour. Again, that Doesn't Happen. They told me to take Tylenol and ibuprofen and gave me a perscription for pain if needed. I took Tylenol and ibuprofen before I left. Bed time no pain, in the morning no pain and no need to medicate. NO Pain!!! If any of my family members need this procedure or any other that Absolute Endodontics performs, this is where they will go. I recommend this Doctor and staff beyond reproach. An absolute gem in Indy. I was referred to Absolute Endodontics by my dentist because of a questionable looking spot on a routine x-ray. Turns out, a crown that I had done about 6 years ago was in dire need of attention. The doctors and staff at Absolute took the time to explain every step of the procedure to me and made my understanding and comfort their UTMOST concern. If I had gone much longer without treatment, I may have run into some very serious problems. Not only would I go back to Absolute in a heartbeat, but I would recommend it to anyone. read more
