I have been going to this office for years! I have recommended them to many. Very nice office! Relaxing atmosphere. The windows in the exam rooms overlook a really nice garden with many birds and bird feeders. All of the employees I have met are really friendly. They make a point of getting to know u by putting notes in your chart. Example- whether u have pets, are engaged, etc.

Try to get an appointment. Apparently doing well so no need to return phone calls. Could be a problem if you had an emergency.

Who actually enjoys going to the dentist? Not this girl! I hate it. I have tried many dentist over…read morethe years. Why? Several reasons. 1. I always would get a lingering bill from my dental provider saying I owe more than the insurance company paid for preventative care. 2. They always claimed I needed extra work or my teeth would fall out any day now. 3. There offices were either out dated or too fancy which tells me they are over charging. 4. The Hygienist weren't personable. 5. The Dentist wasn't personable. Then I discovered Tellman. I have now been going there for over 6 years and none of the above have ever been an issue. When I go in the first person I see always remembers my name and things about me personally. She says Hello Sheree! How are the kids or, how was your drive from downtown, things like that. I have never ever waited longer than 2-3 minutes before I'm called back. My hygienist is Jessica. She also always remembers me and we have gotten to be very close patient/hygienist friends so our conversations always pick up from where we left off. As long as I have been going I have NEVER been told I need extra services. This is HUGE for me. They don't make up random stuff just to get more money. Now my husband also goes and they have recommended things that he needs but he really did need them for example a filling fell out. Yep definitely need that taken care of. My daughter also goes. She was convinced she needed braces. He said nope, we can fix the issue without having you spend thousands. It cost me maybe $200 instead. Essentially I'm saying they are trustworthy. I used to live around the corner from them and now I live 30 minutes away. I past a million dental offices I'm sure but I will continue to go here because of the trust and they make me feel like I'm more than a insurance claim or money. Bravo Tellman Dentistry!

Dr. Tellman's practice is probably one of the most advanced and professional in the city. They have the capability to do all dental work from maintenance to cosmetics. They can do whitening, invisalign, veneers, bonding, porcelain crowns, laser dentistry, cleanings, bridges, dentures, filings, gum disease procedures, implants, root canals and even sleep apnea/snoring treatments. Also for root canals, no multiple visits here. They have the ability in house to create the custom crowns so root canals are a single visit. Dr. Tellman's staff here are the best in the business. They are very professional, respectful, polite and great at what they do. Dr. Tellman himself is a very kind man and an amazing dentist!! Like i said earlier, there is no other dentist i would ever want to go to. I want to add an embarrassing but true statement. Since 1996 i had 2 large gaps in my visits to Dr. Tellman. When i came back i needed major work done in my mouth, both times. I was given the brief you better stop doing this to yourself look but was not judged. He really does care about his patients and loves what he does.

She speaks over you, interrupts you, and speaks down to you. Oral bone loss is related to poor hygiene yes but also because of missing teeth, bruxism, poorly fitting dentures, infections, trauma, and systemic diseases and conditions like osteoporosis, diabetes, or hormonal changes. And Corinne even stated that dentists don't know about what causes dental bone loss, how to brush teeth properly, and they (dentists) only have an hour of hygiene in their curriculum. Corinne, I'd be careful how you undercut your own employer because putting your own dentist into a general statement like that doesn't lead to trust in your dentist or the dental practice. The other issue, I heard her berate another client for not having the finances to have quarterly cleanings going as far as to tell the patient that you wouldn't care for her if she didn't commit to the quarterly, every 3 month, dental hygiene plan. The patient stumbled over words trying to plead her financial case and you were flip and disregarded her concerns. This was awful to overhear and then you treated me the same way. I will get my hygiene care from someone who can respect the team they work with and patients they serve.

I questioned why that was necessary since I'm using Medicaid (CareSource). Instead of clearly explaining the reason why, she responded very quietly and whispered, I couldn't understand what she said , because i couldn't hear her. She didn't repeat herself or properly answer my question she just moved on to her next question. That interaction didn't sit right with me. If they need that information, she should be able to clearly explain why. Because of that experience, I'm now unsure about keeping this appointment it raised some red flags for me.

I started with them when the practice was known as Smith-Brauer, and when Dr Brauer took over the practice and I got to know him I was really happy to continue coming. What's so epic? They have great reminders, for starters, and are very flexible in scheduling. When you walk into their office for the first time, a very clean and modern waiting area await you past a foyer with waterfall. You're immediately calmed and the place just feels incredibly clean. The rooms are all private and spacious with televisions and windows that let in natural light...No dungeon feel here folks. Over ten years, I've been lucky to meet several of the dental hygienists and staff and there really aren't any bad apples. You feel almost like family here. I never felt rushed through but instead always felt like they were incredibly thorough. When I came to the practice I had many older amalgam fillings, and over a couple years we replaced them all with color matched fillings and crowns which look great and improved my confidence and smile. A friend mentioned the other day that they go to a dentist office where the dentist is different each visit. I can't imagine doing that when I've been so happy getting to know the staff and Doctor Brauer. Easy assess off 465 means you can get here from around the city. Check them out, especially those of you who are nervous when you visit the dentist! You'll be in good hands.

The front office staff are extremely polite, the dental hygienists are friendly and know when not to ask you questions as their hands are in your mouth, and Dr. Brauer is very cordial and thorough. I'm going to tell you all my personal info and say that I've had a cavity filled and a crown placed and both procedures went without a hitch - you gotta love a dentist who actually respects the fact that people can be scared of them. I'll keep going here as long as I live in Indy!

Very "memorable" experience…read more I booked my appointment months in advance and confirmed when prompted. Somehow, the appointment was changed to another date after my confirmation -- with no call, no explanation, and no notice. Impressive system. I drove nearly two hours in snowy weather and arrived on time, only to be told my appointment no longer existed that day. When I calmly showed proof and tried to explain, the staff's response was eye-rolling, visible impatience, and zero effort to help resolve an error that was not mine. I was left feeling dismissed, unwelcome, and frankly uncomfortable. I can't say why I was treated that way, but it's hard not to wonder whether appearance or background played a role when basic courtesy and professionalism disappear so quickly. When I asked for their names to document the incident, they refused and told me to leave. If accountability, communication, and respectful treatment matter to you, I'd suggest confirming things multiple times -- and maybe still prepare for surprises.

They were able to get me in within two weeks for a routine cleaning and x-rays. The cleaning was good. I mentioned that I tend to gag with dental stuff, so they took extra care when placing the films for my x-rays and the tech kept checking on me and going super slow to ensure my comfort. I had a filling that had mostly fallen out. I was able to reschedule a follow up for two days later (they had them sooner, but it didn't work for my schedule). I asked if I would have to be numbed because I hate the dental shots. She said she was pretty confident she could pop out the old filling and replace it with no to minimal pain and she was right. My tooth hurt the tiniest bit, but I'm pretty sure it was just sensitivity when the cold water blasted it. I was in and out in about 20 minutes with my new filling and no numb, drooly mouth. They also accept children. My friend's entire family goes and say the dentists are really good with their kids as well. I don't doubt it. Each room is themed. My cleaning was in the Star Wars room and my filling was in the baseball room. There is plenty for kids (or kids at heart) to look at and be distracted by during dental procedures.
