I've been going to see Dr. Kee for my dentistry work the past few years, and she's phenomenal! I was on a hunt for a black dentist, and I'm super grateful she's located not too far from me. I see her for my bi-annual cleanings, and we've also done some crown work as well, never disappointed. She explains everything well throughout each visit, and the freebie toothbrush is always nice as well. Both Dr. Kee and her staff run an efficient and friendly office; I've never been disappointed with a visit. I've recommended her to other family members as well who have had positive experiences. If you desire a skilled dentist (and the diversity aspect is a PLUS), then I highly recommend checking her office out. I recently had my first dental appointment since COVID-19. I must say that had a little anxiety about going to dentist, but Dr. Kee and her staff alleviated all my fears. The office was very clean. They screened me before I came in. Overall, my appointment went very well and I felt confident that they were handling this crazy situation as good as possible. Dr. Kee has been my dentist ever since I was a child. She has always been nice and made me feel comfortable during my visits. I absolutely LOVE my teeth now! Under Dr. Kee I have had of course my biannual cleanings, but also veneers, and bleaching. Overall, I have just enjoyed my trips to the dentist. Believe it or not, I actually look forward to my recall appointments LOL. I highly recommend Dr. Kee! She provides excellent care without charging "an arm and a leg". STOP, DON'T DO IT! (This review is not about the Dr. my problem is not with the Dr. it with the horrible front office staff that consists of April aka ultra clueless and the daughter aka little miss smart mouth unprofessional brat.) 1. The staff do not answer when I call from my phone. Today, I had to call from a blocked line just to get them to answer. I know for a fact that my calls were being ignored because I was parked in front of the business and seen someone sitting at the counter. I got out of my car and walked pass the door and I heard the phone ringing. I'm sure their gonna say they were busy, but there wasn't one customer inside sitting in the chairs nor standing at the counter. The line goes to voicemail if their on the other line, but when I called, it just rang and rang. I got back in my car and called from a blocked number and a girl answered. Go figure! 2. The daughter of the Dentist is extraordinarily unprofessional and rude. If someone was calling to pay my mother money, I'd shut my mouth and take the money. I'd not spend 5-9 minutes exchanging words with a "customer". When your business relies on payments, you humble yourself, shut your mouth, and take the money and hang up the phone. Her entire goal should have been to get the money from me, not to stand her ground spewing nonsense out of her mouth. At some point in our exchange, I realized that I was not speaking with a mature young adult, but in fact a child; which is why I calmed down. At this point, I feel like I had an argument with a little girl. What shocked me the most about our exchange is when she said that I was receiving collection letters from them because I had said that I wasn't gonna pay the bill, which is not true. Why I did say is, I'm not paying for services that my insurance company is willing to pay for. I'm curious to know whom told her this lie. I've never told her directly that I wasn't gonna pay, nor April, so how did she manifest this lie. I guess I should take this as a grain of salt because little girls do have a tendency to have an active imagination. 3. April, my lord April. She is the reason why this entire situation is happening. Prior to even receiving services, I had called the office and asked April if their office was in network with CareFirst, she said yes, which is why I kept my appointment. Out of the blue I received a bill stating that I owed them money, and I was like nope, I don't because the insurance company will pay. Low and behold, they weren't in network, which is why they never received payment from the insurance company. (Note: I called April and asked her why didn't she tell me that they weren't in network when I came for the appointment. She said the very day of my appointment was when they became out of network. Shady right! Yeah I know.) The insurance company sent me the payment directly, but sent it to the wrong address twice, which is documented in their system. Recently they finally corrected the mistake and sent out the first check which I paid to the Dr's office today. I was told by the Daughter and April that the proof of payment would be emailed and mailed to me, but in true fashion, that email never was received, and it's 4:09pm now. It's either they have zero clue how to email, or they just never sent it, but I assure you that they'll say they sent it twice or more. I asked the daughter to send it to me via email and mail, and she assured me that I'll get it, and sure enough I didn't get not one email from them. 4. The referral to the Endodontist. The office referred me to an Endodontist all the way in Westminster and had the never to say that referred Endodontist was the only one that accepted my insurance which I later found out was a complete lie. Now that all of this has happened, I've concluded that they don't know if they're in network and take my insurance, so they couldn't possibly know if other places take my insurance and are in network. Overall, the Dr is very nice, pleasant, welcoming, and professional, but the Daughters unprofessionalism and childishness and the cluelessness of the front office girl April will most like destroy this business. I do no recommend the Dentist as long as her daughter is working there and as long as clueless April remains there. I am literally printing flyers to put up in several places of worship warning my people to stay away from this practice because of my horrible experience dealing with the Daughter and clueless April. read more
