Dr. Frieder is simply the best, kind, professional and absolutely the most experienced Dentist I've ever met. I recommend him highly!

I have a mild case of PTSD from going to the dentist as a child. When I was a toddler, my top 4…read morebaby teeth rotted out from my mom putting honey on my pacifier (it was the 70s). My small town, rural dentist replaced the rotten baby teeth with fake silver ones until my adult teeth grew in, and the experience was traumatizing. During that procedure, I ended up biting the dentist (it hurt!) and he bit me back!! I always seemed to have cavities as a kid, and the sound of the drill can still send me into a panic. My parents wouldn't tell me until the day of my appointment that I was going because I would agonize for days leading up to the visit. As an adult, I still have trouble getting fully numb for fillings, and just the thought of going to the dentist triggers the fight/flight response. Dr. Edland is the first dentist who truly listened and worked with me on my trouble with Novocain. He is patient, and waits until the anesthetic fully takes hold. There has been one time where I could still feel pain after he started drilling - he stopped, injected more anesthetic, and waited for it to take effect. I can't tell you how grateful I am for his kind and gentle demeanor. He also fully explains everything he is doing, keeping you updated on how far he's gotten and how much work is left. He is pragmatic and doesn't push you into procedures that can wait. And his staff is just as wonderful! Receptionist Liz is an absolute delight. She always makes you feel like you're her favorite patient. Edie assists Dr. Edland during procedures and is attuned to your needs throughout. She always provides comfort and reassurance during stressful visits. Valerie is one of the dental hygienists who is so sweet and gentle. Everyone at this practice is amazing. I just could not recommend Dr. Edland and his staff more!!

Found this practice on Google. My first appointments for routine cleaning were great. I went to…read morehave an "old" filling replaced and the dentist (who I didn't know) was horrible. She needed two people on staff to help her replace the filling (on a molar in the back). She left my tooth not filed down properly so my bite has to be corrected by a new dentist I need to find now. I typically don't leave bad reviews but this practice is incompetent. The back office doesn't manage accounting well and they don't return calls. I suggest you avoid this practice completely. If not, maybe this review will result in them getting things in better operational order.

The office and staff seemed nice at first, everyone introduced themselves and said hello. The other staff member explains what's happening and where we need to go. Saw actual dentist who said nothing to us maybe 30 seconds. We scheduled with a second dentist of their choosing for the root canal. Get to the appointment everyone is nice they take us right back, and the dentist looks in my daughter's mouth and ask if the last dentist thoroughly examined her because this is not a root canal and sent us home. We had a crown appointment already set up they said to keep the appointment they will figure out what happened. My daughter explained to them this is all making her nervous that things keep changing no one seems to know whats going on. They reassured her and asked her to keep appointment. Got a call later to confirm our 8am appointment. Not 12 hours after that we get a message our appointment is now moved to 2pm. So, we said never mind we are going to cancel. We wanted to think about this and maybe get another opinion. Today my daughter got a call from this office and they tried to blame her and myself for the messed-up appointments. Told her my phone number was being removed from her file. Talked down to her and over her then dismissed her. HOW RUDE!!!! We were actually thinking of going back to give them a chance to correct this situation and how they left us feeling. Todays phone call fixed that. How can you treat people like that, we were new patients and this is the first impression you want to make.
