For those who dont like TVs playing news in waiting areas, this place doesnt do that. I have a long history of dental care and I've spent many hours in a dentist chair since childhood, but I'm no longer apprehensive about coming for my visits since I've been coming here. I definitely recommend this practice if you are looking for a family run dentistry that knows what they're doing, and that cultivates a nice atmosphere.

I had asked if they were covered by my insurance & she said yes so I went ahead and got it. The second time I received it for my other side, the front desk tried to charge me over $400 for it. I was like no- it should be covered that's what I was told by Dr. H. They said okay no worries we'll take care of it. They are calling me now 4 months later saying I have a $700+ bill overdue that I've never received nor was told about when I closed my account in November because of these treatments. Even the person on the phone was telling me she's shocked it's so much because she usually only sees it for $30 a tooth... make it make sense. Where did this bill all of a sudden come from? They better figure it out because I wouldn't have gotten the treatment otherwise if they had stuck to their word. Or had come back multiple times if I had known they were going to be so mistrusting to their word. I'm honestly exhausted of financial malpractice at dentist offices. I had thought I finally found a decent one. But this really took me over the edge. They told me at the end of last year that for 2026 they would stop taking my insurance, Delta Dental, which so many people have. Clearly, there is a disconnect between the patient/doctor experience & financial department & they'll continue to lose patients if they continue this. So beware!

The girl behind the desk was trying to force x-rays on me that I had already had. She said if I don't have the x-rays then I can't be a patient. I said I guess I'll have to cancel my appointment since I've already had X-rays and for health reasons do not wish to have them again. Her response? Okay! They don't care if I'm a patient! Not only that their tone was so rude when they called me first thing in the morning while I was still having breakfast to confirm my insurance and they treated me as if I was some kind of a criminal! I want to say that adding the Smilist to your practice cannot be worth your clientele. I love my…read morehygienist, but as of right now I am actively searching for a new dentist. I apparently owed $56 from my last visit in September, which was not disclosed to me at that time. I usually pay any outstanding balances when I come in. The Smilist however could not wait until January 31st. Instead they harassed and threatened me for $56 which eventually cost me a $2 service fee! Unacceptable!
