Pre-COVID, at just over a year old, we brought my son to a (different) dentist who was very aggressive with my sons teeth. It was his first time at the dentist and they strapped him down to scrape some plaque off his teeth. He was being held down by a tech. Needless to say, both my husband and son were a bit traumatized. So I decided for his next experience we needed something very different. AND WOW. Dr Cole and her staff were simply incredible with him. From the moment they opened the door, my son knew nothing but kindness. They took it slow, showed him every piece of equipment, and let him touch it. While he was still quite nervous, there were no tears and no meltdowns. Every staff member knew the names of all his favorite tv characters and talked him through each thing, using the cartoons as gateways to trust and good ol fashion diversion. I will never take him anywhere else. What a treasure our community has in Dr. D'Audra Cole and her office!

The dentist took the time to explain everything not only to me, but my child. The dentist asked if we had any questions and was willing to spend as much time as needed to explain if necessary. They make sure they work with your schedule to the best of their ability. The office is very clean and orderly. Our first visit to the office, they greeted us with a new patient gift. It was such a nice gesture and very unexpected. It wasn't the normal toothbrush that you normally would receive. If you are looking for an orthodontist, I highly recommend them!

They provide the kids a token at the end of the visit to claim a prize from a toy vending machine. Staff are great with kids, full of tricks and methods to help your child ease through the visit. First, Dr. Khurana and her team developed and implemented a treatment plan for my 4 year old son who needed extensive dental work. We probably consulted with five dentists and she was the only one that offered a plan we felt comfortable with. She talked us through everything before and after the procedure which took place in a hospital setting under anesthesia, making us feel like our son was extremely well cared for in this unsettling situation. Their hospital coordinator Britnee was also fantastic to work with and helped answer numerous questions we had. Separately, Dr Nirali and her assistant Jordan have performed two fillings for my seven year old daughter. They are so incredibly good with kids and skilled at what they do that my daughter actually said getting fillings there was FUN and she didn't experience any pain on either occasion. When I told her she would be all done fillings after the second visit she was DISAPPOINTED. That is not a thing! I really can't say enough good things about this dental practice. The providers are so great with children and they are very careful in the way they do things to not cause any trauma. My 6-year-old had to get a crown and two fillings during 3 separate appointments and he was so excited every time I'd tell him, "you have the dentist today." My 4-year-old second born is a bit stubborn and the dental hygienist was fantastic with him and he did so well at his cleaning. I have a lot of dental anxiety from trauma that I experienced when I was a child and I sincerely wish that a place like this existed in the 80s because it would have saved me so much pain and turmoil. I am thrilled that I can give my children a healthy and happy experience with the dentist so that they don't have to experience what I did. Highly recommend.

I want to start off by saying that I have a long history in medical office administration and…read morecustomer service and have never left a review on any establishments before. The "care" my son received from the older female hygienist was appalling. She immediately got annoyed when he asked his birth sex to be changed from female to male (because medical offices should have the proper patient information for any medications and whatnot). Then, when she started his cleaning, she asked him if he flosses. Now, none of us are perfect and he has a very busy schedule (not that it's anyone's business), but when he answered that he tries to, but only ends up doing it 1-2 times a week, she got upset and stated that he's "no longer 18 and can make time to floss on the way to work". A suggestion is one thing, but to make condescending remarks about such a small detail to a stranger is not only odd, but extremely unprofessional. It gets worse though. She proceeded to dig into his teeth and gums so hard that his head literally jerked back and he had to ball his fists to manage the pain. The dentist finally checked in to see him and said that his teeth looked very nice and he just had some build up, but nothing they couldn't fix. He's the only reason I'm okay with one star being an option. Once the dentist left, the hygienist came back only to tell my son that his teeth looked "bad" and continued the service. I don't know if she was just having a bad day or if she needs to find a profession that makes her happy, but her unprofessionalism on top of her nasty attitude is enough for my son to schedule elsewhere and i hope that no one else experiences what my son did.

He had used his vacation time because that was the only way he could take the appointment without losing pay. He eventually received a text after his appointment time, saying the office would be closed. There was less than two inches of snow, the temperature was above freezing the roads were easily passable. My Frederick Dentist did not call to apologize or to set up a new appointment. Earlier, they had recommended a cap for my tooth. I had a temporary one put on and was told that the permanent one would be available in about a week. A month later, I called to see what had happened and was told they sent a text to notify me but when I had them check that number, they acknowledged they had used a wrong number. This place is incompetent. I strongly advise you seek a more reputable and dependable dentist.
