We were referred here by our pediatrician because our twins had lip ties. We were able to get in to see Dr Mike in the frederick office within a week. Dr Mike was outstanding!!! He was so passionate, explained everything thoroughly and was so gentle and caring towards our children. It's always a problem with this dentist office. They can never accommodate when it comes to appointments. This is the 3rd/4th time I have had an issue with appointment timeS. I made it for 2:30, they tell me it was 2:10. We arrived at 2:30. Now we late and they just cannot fit her in at all. Then she tells me someone called my house....welll I was just there and I didn't receive a call from anyone. So now we have to deal with rescheduling issues which is another hassle!!! My two-year-old son and I waited in the car for 35 minutes before to leaving. There was a notice posted on the front stating you must wait in your vehicle. It was 100° out and my son it's not patient enough to wait 35 minutes in the car to be seen. Since they were running so behind I should have been notified. I will not be going back. read more

I would love to say thank you to Pediatric dental clinic in Frederick, MD. And especially to doctor Joseph L. Camacho, D. D. S., for doing wonderful job with my six year old daughter Ella. Even that we had to drive from Winchester Va and thinking of taking this route i was very satisfied to do so. Doctor pulled her teeth and she was in very good hands and because of the doctor she was not scared at all. I never had such a wonderful and amazing dental clinic experience and I'm very happy that my doctor recommended this clinic for my daughter. And i would love to say to all parents to do not wait and take their child to this dentistry because I strongly recommend that this is the best thing you can do for your child. And now my daughter can not wait to go back again on September 25th. My son has been a patient of this practice for years and we have been happy until now. This evening my 4 yr old daughter sustained an injury to her tooth and lip. The on call dentist asked Dr Camacho for approval to see her because she herself is not an existing patient. She is my foster daughter and has only been in my care for 3 months. We were told to try somewhere else. Never mind that she's a child in pain, scared swollen and bleeding, or that we would have chosen this practice for her next check up, or that there aren't a lot of options right now because of Coronavirus. The on call dentist was apologetic and reassuring but my child didn't matter to Dr Camacho and neither did our patient relationship from the last 7 years. I have to wonder, if it had been my other biological child that needed emergency care would we have be turned away then? read more

Fabulous! I can't help but compare to Pediatric Dental Center of Frederick over by Wal-Mart. (That place was run like animal control center) This is a well run business, the waiting room is clean and orderly. I had a one minute wait time at all three visits. Dr Amigo is professional, courteous, and friendly as are all the staff. Really friendly, not plastic friendly. The office is beautiful, the treatment rooms are private with a TV to help little ones keep still. Parents are welcome to stay with your child during treatment. And she didn't come up with crazy treatment plans like "baby root canals" for my son's rather extensive treatment, although he did end up with one "silver tooth", which he thinks is pretty cool. read more

I am not someone to wrote bad reviews ever but I had a very negative experience with my 2 year old today. This was his first dentist appt ever and he did pretty well. The hygenist was pretty gruff though not someone I would pick to.deal with children. She expected my child to just know how to open his mouth on command etc.. After the cleaning the hygenist pointed to a toy basket for my child to grab a toy from to keep. He picked a truck and hen grabbed another which I out back but while we were waiting for dentist he grabbed it again so.i let him that time thinig it would be ok since they were cheap 50 cent toys. No big deal right ? The hygenist then gruffly said only one and ripped the toy out of my child's hand while scolding him . She left and he grabbed it again and I absolutely didn't stop him that time. I couldnt believe that this office expected a 2 year old to practice self control with a basket of toys at their level. I understand that they have rules and so do I as a parent but occasionally it's ok to let things slide. Especially when this silly toy was keeping my.kid comfortable during this first time experience. This is not the attitude i wpuld expect from a pediatric dental practice and just left a very bad taste in my mouth. It costs almost nothing to be generous. Our 17 month old daughter fell and chipped her two front teeth. Once we realized what had happened we gave Frederick Pediatric Dentistry a call per a suggestion from a friend. They told us to come in right away and they would make room for us when they could (we waited about 20 mins which is fine by me). Dr. Mike was very helpful and courteous to my wife and I. He explained everything in detail and made sure to listen to our opinions and well as our concerns. Will definitely be going back here with our children and recommending this dentist to all our friends. read more

My kids and I have always loved coming here, since they first started getting teeth. Now they are 10 and 7. Everyone is always pleasant and there are always laughs and comfortable conversation, whether it be regarding dental work or just life in general! I love that! In the past year, we've been visiting quite a bit as my oldest son required orthodontic work. Dr. Gallagher is an amazing orthodontist! I almost feel like a close friend whenever we see her. She's always smiling and makes my son so comfortable by engaging in what's going on in his life, besides the fact that she explains so well what each appointment will entail. We always understand completely what the next steps are and always know what payments are, no surprises! This is extremely important to me as a parent, as I work hard for the money I make. She will be sorely missed, but I know she's leaving us in good hands. Thanks Dr. Gallagher and good luck...even though you won't need it! Keep up the good work everyone! read more
