Delicious and juicy burgers! My personal favorite is the Truffle Burger. You can choose to size up and get a larger patty or stay with the regular size depending on your appetite. The smash fries are okay, but nothing special in my opinion. They're thinly sliced and have a special oil on them and some spices for flavor. Like I said they're okay. The real star of the meal is the burger. They're a little oily but are packed with tons of flavor. I've tried a bunch from the menu but my burger of choice is the Truffle Burger as I mentioned earlier. You can choose to carry out or dine in. If you're getting your meal to-go they have a standing bar for you to wait at. Usually they are quick with getting orders done regardless of carry out or dine in. It's a casual ambiance and they're good at seating you right away. I haven't encountered the restaurant when it was super packed and have had to wait for a table. The line is usually long because of people doing the carry out option so don't be discouraged about the wait. It goes by quickly. read more

Typical smash burger. Clean quite and nice. Food is what you expect. As a vegetarian the black bean burger doesn't knock my socks off - it's okay. This was my first time at smash burger and it was a great experience. Julio assisted my brother, my sister in law and I in choosing 2 awesome burgers, two milkshakes a cob salad and French fries for everyone. To say the least we had an amazing feast. There was a Miss understanding with my burger as I ordered a bean burger and received a beef burger but this was quickly fixed with a smile and an extra side of fries to go with my burger. I have aways had a great customer experience here. Food is fresh and the shakes are wonderful. One person who works here- named Michael- is a exemplary employee in my opinion. I was previously disappointed in a different location. This time I had the New Yorker with grilled onions, cheese, baby spinach peppercorn garlic aioli. This was really good. Also had the Oreo milkshake. Loved it but it's time to start watching my calories, so no more of this for awhile. Ate some of the fam's regular fries and haystack onions, both awesome. This was by far the worst burger I have ever eaten. It was so oily and wet that I had to peel the bottom bun off the wrapper as the rest of the burger slid apart. It tasted like it had been dipped in water. I was asked to describe the "Smash Sauce". Based on that horrid burger, I would describe it as a mixture of oil and water. The only reason I considered giving it two stars is because the fries were pretty good. Overall, I would not recommend going here. It's namesake, the smash burger, is just watery slop. I have very high standards when it comes to burgers and have yet to find anything that comes even remotely close to Corner Bistro, but this was pretty good. We ordered a New Yorker (for me) and a Truffle mushroom Swiss. The service was quick, but then again it was empty because it was just starting to snow (northeaster 2014!) The New Yorker burger was fairly good, just a little oily for my liking. It was well done with a decent size patty. It was good, just not a memorable burger, however I did finish the other half at midnight and despite being cold did taste ok so it gets points for that. I would like to declare my undying love for smashburger. They are on point. The service is great. After you make an order you pick your seat and they bring you your meal. I've been here about 3 times thus far and it's been perfect every single time. Their fries are amazing, their burgers are delectable...they have milkshakes!!! I went to Five Guys and they have the same set up as smash or pretty similar and I never went back there. It's a nice bonus that the staff cleans up for you but I can honestly do it myself....but they insist. Anyway I hope they keep it up and never fall off after their "newness" dies down. read more

Yeah, I'm a fan. Spicy veggie black bean "burger" and sweet potato fries are excellent. So nice to have a veggie burger option (Five Guys, are you listening?). And they have Honest Tea. Yay! A very nice gentleman - perhaps the manager? - took the time to explain the menu to us. He was helpful and personable. Everyone else was friendly as well. Great service. You can order one of their menu creations or create your own burger. This place is immaculate, and I quickly saw why. The staff is constantly cleaning. Everyone seemed to be working their tails off. Hubby and I went and had burgers, Smash fries, and shakes (Fyi, never order that much food). The burgers were pretty good, but they only cook them through, and I like mine rare. They have 2 sizes, and the smaller one is plenty. We shared the Smash fries, which were pretty good if you like rosemary, albeit a bit greasy. The cookies & cream/oreo shake is thick and pretty good, but it's a bad idea to get it if you're eating a burger too, unless you want to feel sick afterwards. It's a step up from typical chain fast food, and I'd go back. It's not the best burger I ever had, but for a casual meal, it was pretty decent. The service was pretty friendly and efficient, but the servers who brought our burgers took the number off the table, so we had to flag down the servers with our fries and shakes. Don't go to smashburger for the burgers. They're dry and tasteless. If you want a burger, go to five guys down the street or even zinburger if you're feeling fancy and have loads of cash. The fries are where it's at. All the fries on the menu are fantastic. Crispy and fresh. Smash fries are rosemary and olive oil covered= perfection. They're shoestring and easy to eat on the go, too. The milkshakes are made with hagendaz ice cream so they're flavorful but not the best milkshake I've ever had. They also sell alcohol for dine in patrons. It's a burger joint. Give some luv to le smash burger. The Oreo milkshake was on point and delicious. I arrived there in nanuet with my folks. The place wasn't overly crowded. The menu was expanded since I visited before. A bit confusing tbh. The food is excellent. I ordered the truffle mushroom burger while my folks devoured their Classics. I especially like the fact you can sit down at your table and your entree is handled by your server. No mess, no fuss. All that is missing is flat screen tv's. yeah I get it.
