Great burger! Try the double Colorado burger with bacon. Smash fries are amazing. My wife loves the sweet potato fries.

Food? Burgers were really good. Fries? Pretty bland. Atmosphere? Gross. Not one table was clean they all had liquid on theme and crumbs and smashed fries. The floor was covered in straw wrappers, fries, receipts and stepped on food. I've never left a review before- so this is out of the ordinary for me. But I was wondering where the manager was and why they haven't told their staff to clean up?? We asked them to wipe off a table for us and one girl said "she's got it" insinuating the girl going to get the food would wipe it off... she could've just done it or gave a wipe to me honestly. Sorry I asked! read more

Best burger and shake in town! Great service awesome new owner! I will definitely return on next time in town!

It just was not very good. We usually visit smashburger once a week while we are in Destin. the fries were decent. Very small portions for the price. The burger was just not good. I think we will omit this from our routine going forward. read more

It sat fresh never frozen.. first thing that came out of the cashiers mouth was that they can't serve chicken wings cause they are frozen and don't have time. Okay then, yawl beware! read more

I recently had a terrible experience at Smashburger, and I will not be returning. The manager was incredibly rude and unprofessional, speaking to me in a completely unacceptable manner. My family and I waited 45 minutes for food and after he snapped at us many times and then brought us the wrong order 3 times we finally got our food. We opened the bag and it was completely wrong. I requested a refund and first he said he wasn't issuing me one then opened all the food with his bare hands to show me nothing was wrong with it but I was explaining that it was wrong and that it wasn't what I ordered. I simply wanted a refund and to leave. My small kids were hungry and getting impatient in the car. He was rude to several people there and not just me too. He ended up meaning the drawer and handing me $33 of the $51 I paid with my debit card. He then told me he didn't have a receipt for me and didn't have a name for my order. He asked me over and over what name I gave him and I kept telling him but it's like he wasn't accepting that. I even showed him on my credit card that that's what my name is. The way I was spoken to was shocking--there was no attempt to resolve the problem, just attitude and hostility. On top of that, the restaurant wasn't even that busy, so there was no excuse for the lack of courtesy. If this is how they treat customers, I can only imagine how they run the rest of the place. Save yourself the frustration and take your business elsewhere. There are plenty of burger spots that actually appreciate their customers. The alleged managers name who claimed he was the owner of the establishment was named Jarrett Kirby. Mr. Kirby, if you read this I hope you know just how much of a sorry manager that myself and about 20 other people in the store today saw that you are. read more

Me and my girl came her for the first time. Everything was amazing. Burgers were great and fries were seasoned!!! Manager was awesome sauce

The service was fantastic, my server was very helpful and made the experience much more enjoyable!

food was delivered. burger was a disaster. would have preferred a mcdonalds 1/4 pounder. sloppy, excessive awkwardly cut onions, zero flavor from the beef. fries were soggy. i cooked them further in an air fryer but they still weren't good. there was a clear signal that they have hired and trained people that absolutely don't care. after tip, i spent $40+ on 2 burgers and one fry. not doing this again. but maybe, your cook will care. good luck. read more

Food is good completely over priced. I know it's a tourist area but it's not worth it.

Mediocre burgers and fries - very small restaurant with dark/dim lighting. We ate there for the free kids meals per adult meal purchased. They had a complicated time getting the kids meals off the ticket, but managed it. We won't return to one of these. It just wasn't that good. read more

Amazing, the general manager, is so kind!! We ate there with our HUGE PARTY and they were so accommodating!! It was a very welcoming place, the atmosphere, was amazing!! read more

I would give this ZERO stars if I could. I placed an order for Smashburger and was absolutely disgusted at what I received. I ordered a Cobb salad which was $10 and it was nothing but giant spinach leaves and and over fried egg. I ordered 2 kids meals WITH FRIES and only got the burgers. $50 for the total order PLUS the tip and this is what I got. I wouldn't dare recommend this restaurant to ANYONE. I tried calling the store and no one is answering the phone. HORRIBLE, I DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more

Good food , good location and a very friendly staff, thanks for making our visit a little better

The truffle mushroom Swiss burger is so delicious! And the onion strings are just perfect- served hot and fresh with ranch for dipping. Everything was fresh and made to order. read more

Went here recently and everything was a 10/10. Service, food, ambiance was top notch. The workers are so kind and make the place lively, and the food tasted fresh. The place was very clean and our food came out fast. Would definitely come back, especially to this location! read more

Amazing burger spot, fries were hot and fresh! New ownership definitely has the service and food output better than before!

Great food, great staff, great place overall! We will definitely be back to eat again soon.

One star because the shake was decent but the burger itself was dry af. The fries are overly salty and frankly you're better off at five guys. Also smash burgers are usually thin. These patties were thick and dry. read more

Worst experiences! 1. They don't pick up the phone at any time of the day 2. Their Grubhub ordering they Yelp is either a cancelled or never confirmed 3. They don't make it right for the customers when they mess up. read more

Burger was great! Sweet potato fries are my favorite. Staff were nice. Fun place! Definitely recommend Smash Burgers!

Worst service ever and I been to quite a few Smashburger locations across the country. It's as if the owner/manager just wanted to kick everyone out, great way to run a business. read more

My wife likes these burgers because of the smash sauce but they are not that great to me. It's $10 for a basic burger, fries and a drink. The burgers are small, the fries are thin and almost immediately cold. The staff doesn't seem to care, although it is REALLY hard to find good people in this area, I know. I mean, I ate my food. It wasn't bad food. Just not great food, and around here you have to be better than good to make it as a restaurant. read more

Never answered any of our calls so I don't know if their phone is working. App on website does not work either. Need to get this fixed Also when we got to the store to pick up our orders, girl gave such a nasty attitude. This place is fantastic! Great ownership and friendly staff. I've been coming here regularly for years now and never disappoints. The quality of the food is top notch and is reflected in the taste and presentation. Don't forget about the SALADS! I love the food! Although this Smashburger is in a tourist area and pricing is a little steep, still worth it! It was made how I wanted it and they didn't even charge me extra, thank you David! read more

I'm a l local and I eat here all the time. Great burger. Staff is always very friendly. Wil say during season and holiday weekends these places can get slammed. Sometimes ya might have to wait a little while, so go eat early or late to avoid the larger crowds. read more

Slowest service I've ever seen. I walked in and people are sitting inside and outside with empty table and waiting for their food. I walked out and got Chipotle instead. Took my chipotle food outside to eat. I noticed after eating that 2 groups outside Smash Burger are still waiting for their food, and they don't look happy. Yikes! read more

Delicious food and excellent service! It's popular so sometimes there's a wait, but it's absolutely worth it. Smashfries are so yum!

Got the bbq bacon burger and it was good. The tots with olive oil and rosemary was a little over the top but all in all a decent fast food place. The place was clean and the staff was polite. A place I would revisit. read more

Best Smashburger experience ever!! Everything came out exactly as ordered and piping hot! My family has been in Destin for over a week, eating out almost daily, and this was honestly the best meal we've had all week! We each had a burger, smash fries or tots, and a shake, and everything was delicious. I had the smash tots and lemme tell you those were the best tots I've ever had.. super crispy and very hot and flavorful.. YUM!! Also, the woman who took our order (likely one of the owners) was super nice and friendly! As we were leaving we told her how great everything was, and she was so appreciative and happy to hear we enjoyed it so much! She told us it's a family-owned restaurant and they take pride in delivering quality food and a great experience! 10/10 would recommend read more

Really tasty cheeseburger, friendly staff, and offers a gluten free bun, so I'll be back. Just not near closing time. The owner seems to read these reviews, so I'm adding this information because I would want to know as a small business owner. The restaurant closes at 8pm, and we arrived at 7:45 and they locked the door after us and wouldn't let any more customers in. I saw them turn away about 5 or 6 parties before 8pm and they had obviously already begun cleaning the restaurant for closing before then because there was no tea or milkshakes available and my gluten free bun was cold like it was straight out of the refrigerator. It seemed like an adult was needed to run things. read more

This place was fantastic! I had eaten at one in SanDiego and really wanted to eat at one again, but I was leery of going because of some bad reviews. Well, let me ease your mind if you are on the fence, it was great! Apparently, Smashburger is under new ownership and it really shows! The staff was so friendly and courteous and the food was great! My wife got the black bean burger, and she said it was simply amazing! I got the regular beef burger and mine was great too! I think this location was better than the one in San Diego!! Fantastic! Loved it!! Definitely go!! read more

Place sucks. Over priced for what you get and they mess our order up so bad. Charged us for an extra drink and never offered a refund receipt showing they had refunded it! Everyone else had finished the meal before I got mine. read more

The burgers were very simple and tasty. I had a BBQ Bacon Double Cheeseburger, with the onion straws along with barbecue sauce. It was pleasing for the length that it lasted on the plate, considering it was a little small for my liking. I also ordered two kids meals, and they never came with fries. I asked one of the food runners numerous times, she said let me see your receipt. We showed her we had purchased two kids meals, and she wasn't aware that they came with fries, so she kept telling us we had to pay for a side that we had already paid for. Then she just kept taking food out to other guest while we still were fryless, I walked over to the register to ask for my fries that didn't come with the kids meals, I was immediately apologized to and got my fries problem solved. We wrapped up the meal and she showed up with the fries. Overall Ill give it a 3/5, the SmashFries were delightful and light, my tots could've used some tossing. My only major complaint is the portion size and the employee's lack of awareness. We walked in and saw trash on the tables, and we got done ordering and grabbing drinks, to my surprise there was still trash. I will be going back to Smashburger, but only to take it back to the comfort of my own home. (: read more

Absolutely great customer service and amazing food. They put a cute note with our food. I 10/10 recommend this place! read more

Smashburger - Burgers Near Me - Destin, Florida

They charge for sauce. I will not be back. Now I'm not totally unreasonable. I get it, you have a product and you need to make money, but in this particular instance I have to draw the line. Allow me to set the scene: it's lunchtime, I am hungry and walk into Smashburger and order myself a BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger. I sit down, it comes out quickly and looks good. The onion straws are crispy and perfect. The cheese is deliciously melted. The patty is hot and fresh off the griddle. In short, a perfect burger. Perfect but for one thing, the bbq sauce was apparently applied to the burger by means of an eye dropper and covered roughly 1/32 of the surface of the patty. No problem, I'll just pop myself up to the counter and get a bit more and we will be good to go. False. I approach a worker at the counter and ask for some bbq sauce. "Yeah...it costs $0.74." Tangentially, that's a bizarre amount to charge for anything, but okay. I explain that I get it, sauces are apparently a charged for item here, but I ordered a BBQ bacon cheeseburger and there was almost no sauce on it, and could I please have some sauce. "There is sauce on your burger. We put it under the cheese." Right. This was an odd moment. I've never been in a position where I had to argue about the presence of sauce on hamburger. She could not be convinced. Tl;dr - my bbq burger had no sauce. They wouldn't give me the sauce unless I paid for an extra side. Ate a dry burger and will not go back. read more
