If I could give zero stars I would. Been waiting over 40 mins for my order. The soda machine is not working made multiple complaints other patrons have as well. They keep saying it'll be good in a few minutes. This place needs new management or to be closed down. They only seem worried about online orders which are all getting flat sodas in their order. It's actually kind of ridiculous. The staff is really nice though. Other than that this place sucks go else where. Panera next door would be a better choice. Ending up getting my food at 3:06PM soda machine was still broken.

Double Classic Smashburger.

While walking around the Gateway Center, we decided to grab a quick dinner and decided on Smashburger. The place had a line and filled with people, so seemed like a popular spot. I ordered the Scorchin' Hot Crispy Chicken Sandwich ($8.99) while the fiance got the Double Classic Smashburger ($9.99). We also each got a fountain drink ($3.29) and an order of Tots ($3.99). It's a bit weird that they don't have combo meals, so each item added up. I don't usually order a drink, but liked that they had some fruit tea options instead of your usual soda. Unfortunately, everything else fell short. It took 20 minutes for our food to be ready. When it arrived, I wasn't too impressed with the chicken sandwich; it was so basic with two fried tenders between buns, that's it. The smashburger looked better, but it wasn't all that special. Overall, just a let down along with a long wait. Plus, they also didn't offer napkins. How can you not have napkins for your costumers while eating food with your hands?

Food: Great taste. Service: Whoever hired these petty, disrespectful, selfish employees who can't get anyone's order right and had 'em getting refunds by the minute should be ashamed. This alone should have y'all this particular establishment going under. Ambience: Rather cozy.

More grease from Smashfries

The wait here is unnecessarily long and last few times I've been here the food has been subpar from the turkey burgers being overcooked and dry to the fries being cold. Today was more of the same. I had to wait 22 minutes for a burger and fries. I requested fresh fries and I was served grease with a side of fries. I didn't feel like changing them again because the cook making the fries had an attitude that I actually wanted fresh fries and not the ones that were under the lamp for more than 5 min. He dumped my fries in the container without draining them I like Smashburger but I think I'm done with this location. Its not worth the hassle. Hopefully the location on Flatlands is better.

OREO COOKIES & CREAM SHAKE

This was my first time visiting Smashburger and I really really wanted a milkshake. If you're dining in, they give you a number to take and you set it on your table. Someone from the restaurant will bring you your meal. Cookies n Cream milkshake overall tasted a lot like whole milk, which I really didn't like too much. I wish that they would've added more Oreos to the mix. However, there's a lot of seating if you are just looking to sit and enjoy your food in there after shopping at Gateway all day.

First time eater here! This review is for over the summer btw. Late review. Ambiance - ok so it's your typical fast food chain restaurant setting. During the summer in this location though, there were soooooo many bees. I'm one of those people that have irrational fear of them. (Well maybe not too irrational since I'm allergic to them. Just not deadly, but painful and uncomfortable for weeks. A huge bee actually got inside and hung out on the wall for a long time. Oh man I cannot. Service - it's your typical fast food place. Can't say much. Food - the winner of the fast food smash burger best item on the menu award goes to the Brussel sprouts! Oh man that was scrumptious. The brussel sprouts are crispy with the right amount of sauce/flavor. I almost taste a little nuoc mam in there. (Probably vinaigrette with a bit of sugar) Burger was a good looking smash burger. Onion rings were a bit oily, but still bomb. 8/10 - I'd recommend if you're hungry and in the area craving for a good burger meal

Let's start with the good - the service and ambiance were on point. I went on a Sunday evening around 7pm. It was busy inside, but since I was a solo diner I was seated immediately by the bar. The servers were friendly and attentive. Probably 3-4 different people checked in multiple times throughout the meal. Where I struggle is with the actual burger itself. As a non-resident New Yorker, for me $22.50 is a lot to spend on a burger and fries. It needs to rock my world at that price point. And it just didn't. I got the B&B Burger. The onion ring tasted like it had been refried a second time to make my burger. The bread was crumbly like it was on the verge of going stale. The actual beef patty itself was decent - good flavor. Usually I can overlook an okay burger if the fries are top notch, but these fries were under-seasoned and also 'just okay'. I also got a side of Chicken Tenders. These were good - no complaints here. I really wanted to like this spot, but not sure this would be a return visit for me.

I started walking northwest knowing I'd find something pretty good. Low and behold Brooklyn Burger and Beer looked like just what I wanted, so I walked in, grabbed a stool at the bar and jumped into their menu. What a difference a 1/2 mile makes! This place was perfect and its menu was choke full of bargains and bonuses. This place was cute; I mean the bar was front and center and was very impressive but the table seating was charming too. Their lunch menu has a great "build your on burger" which i had a blast doing: Burger Cheddar Cheese Bacon Grilled onions Lettuce Tomato Mayo / BBQ con The service was exceptional, the ambience was very "Taverny [sic]" and my lunch was delicious!

Greetings all, it's been a while but here I am. Let's talk about Emily a quant pizza restaurant…read morethat you could easily walk pass and not know what they sold. Today however it wasn't pizza that brought me here, it was the famous Emmy Burger. To begin with the atmosphere of the restaurant is dim lighting a few tables with a reasonable sized bar in the middle of the room. They also have an open kitchen concept where just past the bar you can see the cooks working. My server Inda was polite and knowledgeable about the menu. My burger was excellent, normally I don't eat my burger with a knife and folk, but in this case with all the cheese and sauce oozing down the sides, not to mention the caramelized onions, it was necessary. (If I were home I wouldn't mind having burger juices running down my arm, but other people were eating in the restaurant also). The tiny pickles which I can't remember the name of were an added treat to the burger. I decided to order mine with the loaded fries. Just imagine the ground burger with all the toppings covering french fries and add melted white cheese. Since I was alone I didn't order a pizza because how would I eat it all, but next time I will try the pizza. I don't mind paying extra for a burger when it's aged beef and the taste is great. I definitely recommend this location. There is a fast food burger restaurant next door to Emily's but I can't imagine there burgers compare. I will try them another time and let you know. That's all for now, see you on my next review.

They say some things age like fine wine, and I believe this restaurant falls in that category. After 55 years, this family oriented fast food shop known for its famous roast beef sandwich and other popular greasy goodness is still standing. I swung by recently for my usuals and glad to report that everything still tasted the same, just slightly more pricey year after year as expected. My regular order has always been the Roast Beef w/ Cheese, which was maybe $4 when I first tasted it over 25 years ago. It is now $9.45 or $.50 less for no cheese. Regardless, the roast beef (medium) is still tender and juicy, piled on top of a soft and pillowy, freshly made bread that's been dunked in a bath of delicious beef gravy. The ooey gooey cheese makes it complete for me. Everything else is solid. Nothing fantastic or worth driving out of your way for. Don't come here looking for the best version of everything on the menu. However, if in the neighborhood, this place is an inexpensive experience that brings you back in time, when the world was less complicated and a night out with family meant a delicious trip to a local restaurant like Roll-N-Roaster. Enjoy it for what it is and you'll have a good time.

We decided 7th Street Burger and it looked good enough for me. Here's where it gets "Sticky (literally)": You probably can't think of a much dirtier place than an airport, subway, public restroom or playground; especially if you going to go to a restaurant where you'll be using your hands to pick up a hamburger, or dipping your French fries in ketchup. So, I arrived first at 7th Street and I asked the cashier where is your restroom where I can tidy up (basically meaning disinfecting my hands). She said we do not have anyplace for that. I thought "What The Hell"!!!!!!! Now, I'm not an O.C.D. guy; but not washing my hands, after touching every rail a subway system has was not going to allow me to eat this lunch with filthy - dirty contaminated hands. Shame On You 7th Street Burger for not having the insight and perception to take steps in good hygiene for your customers! Unforgivable!!!!!

The bun is soft and sweet and the burger has a good amount of sautéed mushrooms. Truffle Parmesan fries were pretty standard, but still very good. Yuzu honey lemonade has bits of citrus at the bottom of the drink and it was refreshing. I saved the chicken bites hours later and it was still pretty crispy after being microwave.
