PLEASE TRUST WHEN I SAY THIS. If I could give this place -5 stars I would. I grew up going here for years and stopped after I saw an employee scratch their back and then continue to handle the food WITHOUT GLOVES.. Listen, I tried to redeem this place by going a few times recently only to get in my car and drive 30MIN to the Crossbay location!!! I saw a few weeks ago the manager come out with her phone and show an employee smth and then they both started txting on it with the food gloves. This is another franchise location that is chronically dirty and filled with people - some of them loitering inside and especially outside of the restaurant. You especially tend to run into the older women who look like someone's grandmother out asking for change - a summer characteristic of the area unfortunately. I usually only go to McDonald's once or twice a year on behalf of my myself and more frequently for others and I always order a Big Mac. As we know, McDonalds is running the 2 for $5 Big Mac promotion and every cashier will say "Would you like to do the 2 for $5 Big Mac promotion rather than just ordering the sandwich off the menu?" and sometimes I'll take them up on the offer. Every time I come here, they say nothing. The cashiers are usually just shooting the breeze with each other behind the counter and discussing plans and what the other person did the night before. Only once or twice have I had a good cashier handling my transaction. Calling you up to grab your order is hit or miss because say you couldn't hear the number properly due to the noise in the dining room and you ask them to repeat themselves they just look at you blankly like you're ruining their day and tell you the order and say it's yours. Last time I was there the ice cream machine was broken on a hot day and they seemed put out about having to tell us that. All in all, I try to stay away from here and just go to the one on 75th St as I have better service but it takes me longer to get there so I end up stopping here to grab food and nearly every time I leave shaking my head at the service being given to me and my fellow patrons. One of the worst ones I've visited. Few tables on the 1st floor before the counter - has more seating on the 2nd floor. Packed with people, unorganized, did not look clean at all. This is really a one star review; this location got crowded very quickly and seems to have a very dis-organized system for delivering food after you order. They give you a number but don't really announce it in a prompt manner which could leave you standing there while your food is getting cold! On the other hand, the food will probably be delivered to you almost cold anyway so that may not be any issue. My medium fries was delivered and a half empty container and some of the fries were not even cooked all the way through and were also cold and soggy; the burgers were also not hot and the special sauce on my big Mac tested on usually sour, never returning to this location! If they don't want to make another batch of original chicken, you will find that they gave you a spicy chicken sandwich instead. Is it possible that they made a mistake? Highly unlikely, since 2 out of 3 were original. That means that the savages who made the sandwich made the conscious decision to grab a spicy chicken patty out of the separate tray, wrap it up, and serve it.
