Double Bro with fried onions, pickles, and burger sauce
    Dennis D.

Phenomenal burger. Just like the name, you'd expect a smash burger. I've recently joined the Church of Smash and am now a loyal disciple and fervent believer that these are the best way to cook a burger. I got the Double Bro and got exactly how it's described: cheese, fried onions, pickles, and burger sauce. It does look like you can customize it with a bunch of different options but it's not like other places where you can get any or all toppings for free (although you are paying for them in some way as that one place everyone loves to trash because it's too expensive). Certain toppings will cost anywhere from a quarter to $3 for bacon. While it does seem like they're nickel-and-diming you on the toppings, I do get it! The price without anything extra is $8 which is a pretty good value and when you think about it, adding a couple toppings will still keep it at a reasonable price. The burger had plenty of cheese that complimented it so well and the onions on it didn't overpower it at all but was enough to give it some flavor. If I had one complaint, it would be there could be more of the burger sauce. I wasn't getting it with every bite, but when I did I wish there was more because it took the burger to another level. As for the fries, I wish they were better. The only thing keeping my rating from being a 5 is because of the fries. The burger was such high quality. I enjoyed it but when I got to the fries, they just didn't meet the same standard. It's a shame this place isn't the closest for me since it's a bit out of the way. The only reason I did come here was to spite my wife who sent me a video of someone reviewing the place and I thought it'd be a good place for lunch. She was not happy... It's also a shame this place is very small and takeout only. It'd do very well expanding to a spot that could accommodate people who wanted to eat there.

Burgers are always a hit! Wings are nice and juicy with a wide variety of flavors. Always friendly and welcoming when showing up. Taken orders to go and also eaten at the tables outside. I love me a good smash burger and this place does it right!

I had the pleasure of indulging in two exceptional dishes that truly set the bar for flavor and quality. The smash burger was an absolute masterpiece--perfectly cooked with a crisp, caramelized crust and seasoned to perfection. Every bite was packed with juicy, savory goodness that left me craving more. The cheesesteak was equally impressive. The combination of tender, flavorful beef and the rich, creamy copper cheese created a perfect harmony of textures and tastes. Each bite was pure satisfaction, with the cheese melting beautifully into the meat. It's clear that great care went into preparing both dishes, and the attention to detail made for an unforgettable meal. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for top-tier comfort food done right! Service - 5 stars they made sure you were recognized and updated with food status Ambiance - 5 stars it's your walk in kinda of establishment. Order and enjoy!

I do want to start with saying this place is fairly new, opened couple months ago. Ive been twice since they opened. The service is great, very friendly staff. The first time I went it was a Friday night and they were pretty slammed. They said food would take 20min and it did take exactly 20min. We happen to check the food before we left and we were missing a burger, the staff apologized and we were able to get our 2nd burger. I thought the burger was good, I really wanted to try the chicken cheesesteak but they happen to be out of that when we went. I got the chicken fries and they were INSANE. I definitely recommend trying them! The place is small, theres enough room for maybe 4 or 5 people to wait inside, we waited outside. They have limited parking spots but you can always grab street parking. I'll be back to try the chicken cheesesteak!

    Chicken Tenders

Smashbros recently opened a few months ago, and was pretty busy when we went on a weekday. We got a Double Bro Burger, French Fries, and Chicken Tenders (Garlic Parm). The burger severely reminded me of a McDonald's Big Mac; not so much the look as the burger meat is thin, but of the overall taste/sauce. The french fries were okay, and the Chicken Tenders were bad. The breading basically was coming off the tenders, and not crispy at all. Also, when we took the chicken tenders container out of the brown paper bag, we noticed the oil seeping through the bottom of the bag. The 'parking lot' is really, really small/tight, and not really a lot. Since Smashbros is on the corner of a street, a lot of people parked on the street. 1/5.

This is a very small burger joint in terms of building size, but it is very busy. I gave Double Bro Burger a try, and it is good! These guys carry Halal food. All poultry and meats are good for those who follow Halal.

I went to one and the chicken cheesesteak tasted like wet dog food. The cheese was so runny it was practically sauce. & it was $16.50

I imagine if a spokesperson was to reply, he or she would point out that all items are made to order. And yes, I get that. I expected a minor wait. But then the two people before me and the one after got their food within a normal timeframe, yet I was still waiting. Eventually I saw my sandwich get placed on the counter (with grease oozing out of the paper), but the lone cashier was ringing someone else up and neither of the kitchen guys would walk around to hand it to me. I feel like they could've left their posts for a split second when it was clearly mine. No one else was standing there. The cashier didn't apologize for the wait when she wordlessly and robotically handed me the sandwich. I ordered the chicken parm cutlet. Added lettuce, which is apparently a premium choice and cost an extra $0.35. Mayo doesn't cost extra. The sandwich itself was okay. Greasy, yeah, and just all around average. The cutlet wasn't as firm and bready as I'm used to. For the wait, the quality should've been higher. At $13.07 for a sandwich and a birch beer, I just expected a much better meal. I also felt sick to my stomach after eating, and I feel like I can safely blame it on the grease. Next time I'll choose a different food court stall.

But I walk up already knowing what I am going to get. If you want the best cheesesteak (in my honest opinion), better than Pat's & Geno's and save a trip over the WW Bridge (also not throwing away $5 due to the tolls)...you must come here!

Cheesesteak followed immediately after. I wish the steak would have been chopped just a little bit, cheese was melted and plentiful and onions caramelized and cooked nicely. Bread fresh. It tasted fine, I guess I just prefer a finer chop on my meat. All three longhots on the steak where red and not really roasted and extremely spicy. So spicy I had to take off my half of the sandwich. Overall it was just an average meal. Nothing special. Would I return...probably. it's in an area we frequent.
