The lady that served us seemed nice and was on top of bringing us everything we ordered in a timely manner. We weren't able to try the homemade ice cream sandwiches as there seemed to be some kind of problem with the freezer. Will not return.

It was certainly several levels above any chain hotel buffet of heated up, pre-prepared foods. Tip - when staying for the free breakfast take the option of applying five dollars off of any menu item instead of the free breakfast. It's pretty skimpy. We paid about $25 for a very nice breakfast this way. Give it a try, especially if you're staying in the hotel. There aren't a lot of other options in Ely.

If you're a carnivore, ketovore, keto, or LCHF enthusiast, look no further--this place is a must-visit! We enjoyed their mouthwatering burgers (no bun) topped with cheddar cheese and perfectly crispy fried chicken wings with no coating or breading. What really stood out was how accommodating they were to our specific food preferences--true attention to detail! The food was not only delicious but also priced very fairly, making it an excellent value. To top it off, the service was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. Smash N Grab offers a great variety of smash burgers and hot sandwiches. My kids love the smash burger with topped with mac 'n cheese. I can't resist the Philly Cheese Steak. We stopped in at the Smash n Grab in Ely and were blown away! The food was absolutely amazing. I loved the slithered onion and lettuce -- just the right touch without being overpowering. They even have fry sauce, which is always a huge plus in my book. Everything we ordered came out perfectly on point. The only downside is that it's located inside the casino, so the smoke smell wasn't my favorite. But honestly, the food more than made up for it -- totally worth it! read more

The staff apologized, but no one stepped in to de-escalate the situation or address the customer's behavior. Instead, I felt like the only option was to leave after addressing the patron myself. I wasn't expecting anyone to take sides, but I did expect management to ensure that all guests could dine without being harassed. A simple intervention or request for the other customer to stop would have gone a long way. I hope the restaurant reviews how situations like this are handled in the future so that families and other guests feel supported and safe. This happened on 08.04 at about 6:30 pm.
