After his unsolicited lecture on my car's functionality, he had the gall to imply that my inability to pay would somehow tarnish their pristine image. As for my furniture, his ludicrous quote was as welcoming as a brick wall. Needless to say, I promptly retreated to a more courteous establishment, where my possessions & I weren't subjected to the kind of disdain usually reserved for a patient with a paperclip lodged in their nose. The indoor part of the facility used to be a supermarket or department store, so it is quite large. The whole place is clean, well lit, and the air conditioning is better than I expected. Nicely cool in the summer, and comfortably warm in the winter. My unit was on the end, right near the curbside door, but I noticed looking down the aisles that they are very wide, if you wanted to access your unit while the tenant across did the same, there would be no problem. The roll-up door worked smoothly, and the built-in lock eliminates having to buy or supply a padlock. There are always plenty of flatbed carts available. Not 24 hour access, but you can get in 7:30 am to 10 pm every day, holidays included. Office staff very friendly and helpful, and the managers live onsite. Even when the office was closed, a few times when I went to my unit, I saw one of the managers, so they don't close up the office and disappear. Although I didn't have a need for it, I noticed they have plenty of room for outside storage (like vehicles & equipment) and again, it is clean and well organized. If I ever need storage again, I will definitely return here.

Rental rate has changed over the months of use from the original special sale price, however. The Deets: I had a condo event where the building sprinkler system burst after a rare single digit temperature a night near Christmas, so I was in need of a storage area for things that survived the aftermath. After looking around, I found SecurCare Self Storage within a small driving distance from me. They had a sale going on at that time for 5 X 10 small unit that is first floor, temperature controlled for $60/month. The manager at the Morrisville location handled all items well and the transaction went smoothly. The storage unit itself was nicer than expected and did the job needed. I continue to use this storage unit, but after a few months the sale price was not continued and I now pay $80/month which is still doable. I've only had one instance where the payment system hit a snag, where it did appear my payment did occur but at the end of the transaction a message came that there was an application error so no confirmation was sent to me of my payment. When I called the office, this event was quickly remedied and I was emailed a copy of the receipt of my payment to retain for my own records. I am satisfied with using a small storage unit at this location of SecurCare and will continue to use their services for the time being.

The lights are motion activated and on a timer, so when I am in my unit all of a sudden the lights cut out when I am waist deep in boxes and can not safely make it back to the hallways to reactivate the lights. I have a large unit, so I have to go up and down two different hallways to turn the lights on. In between the safety issue and the constantly rising rental fees, I am about done with this place. I also start getting emails and text messages asking for the rental payment a week before it is due. Do yourself a favor a just go somewhere else.
