There's no way these 5 star reviews are real. Here's my experience working with these guys: I was shopping for a used laptop and they offered an old 2015 refurbished hp with decent specs for $380. Not bad. I took it and started having issues with the computer right away. Had to take it back where it stayed for over a week only for it to crash again a few weeks after I got it back. I took the computer back a second time and was told I'd get a call back with an update in a few days. A week passed and I hadn't heard anything so I called and was told that they might need to replace it with a different computer but they weren't sure and that the owner David would call me back with details the following day. Didn't receive a call. I waited a few more days and called back again and was that my replacement computer was ordered and should arrive soon but the owner (David) would need to call me back with details. No call again. I waited another week without hearing anything so I called again, this time a little frustrated, and the owner picked up. He apologized and told me that they weren't able to repair the computer and they weren't able to replace it with another either. He said the only thing he can do is sell me a 2012 MacBook Pro with a discounted price of $300 more in addition to the $380 that I already spent. I thought about the offer for a couple days and decided to take it. When I called David to let him know that I'd like to hand over another $300 he told me that the computer wasn't a 2012 like he thought, it was actually a 2009 MacBook Pro. He wanted me to spend $680 on a 2009 laptop and assured me that "it would last forever." I read several Mac forums and spoke to a few different experts who told me that no matter what improvements he made to the 2009 model, it would only last a couple years tops. I took a refund and ended up buying a brand new 2016 MacBook Air from Best Buy for only $200 more than I would have spent on a 2009 model from these guys. Avoid these guys. They'll waste your time and try their best to rip you off read more

I remember coming here about two and a half years ago when they first opened with an "Incompatible" iPhone4. I had taken it to another mobile spot that I had previously done business with for more than a year. I was about one year into the pre-paid scene and had just begun to dabble in the iPhone world, and the joys of pre-paid iPhones in particular. Well, to make a long story short, I purchased a new 4s on ebay, ATT unlocked and all. I went to the previous retailer to setup service and was told that some hardware changes were necessary, such as a Gevey. This would take about a day, so I left it with them and when I returned, the service stopped within an hour. Infuriated that I spent so much money on this project, I sought a second opinion from SmartStop. David was kind enough to calm me down, explaining ALL the little pain-in-the-butt steps of iPhone prepaid service AND ALL differences between unlocks and iPhone hardwares and necessary accessories. This explained why I had incompatibility problems; I had purchased the wrong phone. With all that detail, he was also kind enough to recommend a smarter pre-paid package that would save me much more $ in the long run. From that moment on, I've trusted no other business with my iPhone needs. I've since traded up to an iPhone 5 and Smart Stop took care of the transfer in no time! All my data was intact and usable. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE TRYING TO FIX THEIR PHONE, EVEN THOSE I HATE!!! Took an iPhone in for water damage repair and they did absolutely nothing to fix the phone. They feed you this bs story that they're "wiping the motherboard" when in reality they don't even open your phone up. They screw you hard and talk like they know what they're doing when in reality the losers just sit outside smoking. Why do you think there's a nice AMG outside sometimes? Because they make their money off running a shady business. They don't even offer refunds for the money because they're obviously running a scam. When they tell you 3 days to finish repairing the phone, they mean a month and they don't contact you when they have a solution. I'd rather spend my money at the dollar store than the "labor" they charge you here. I used to work in IT and they spew out "repair lingo" that makes no sense but if you don't know then you see right past their bs. They also greet you without a mask during the pandemic, especially the stick bug loser with the slicked back hair. If you look at all the 5 star reviews a majority of them are Armenian so they obviously have a racial problem going on. This place is terrible. Hope those wondering if they should bring in their device see this review and avoid this place at all costs. read more

I just want to thank David for taking the time and telling me why I might be having these problems and all these error messages on this so called incredible phone droid phone. Ive also had my iphone screen cracked on this one 3G that I have not touched it in a while just because everywhere I went they gave me some ridiculous price and it just never made sense fixing it since it was beat up anyways I brought it to them and a few days letter I'm actually thinking about getting back with at&t thank you this phone loOks perfect not a scratch or a scuff on it and the price are beyond belief, I just moved back to CA and don't really trust anyone until I shop around and they have by far the lowest rates and even jailbreak-ed. Ok so this place is seriously THE BEST. If you are an Apple user you know that their repair prices are completely absurd and if you don't know that you will certainly find out someday. I'm not sure what the etiquette is for posting prices so I will just tell you this: Smart Stop fixed my lap top for an EIGTH of the price that the Apple store quoted me. Apple then sent me to one of their "Certified repair centers" Don't be fooled- it;s almost just as much. Yeah. I was so happy with Smart Stop Wireless service' it makes me want to cry. He repaired my laptop- it's good as new- replaced two parts for a super, super deal. The next time I break one of my apple devices I wont even be mad. Everyone who works there is also awesome. Friendly, non-condescending no matter what stupid thing you've done to break your stuff, and they will never rip you off. I brought my old iPhone 3g into be repaired. Nick spent the entire day basically rebuilding the inners. The phone had been given to me and I didn't know that the previous owner had jail broke the phone. They used an old method and really screwed up the phone. Nick fixed it, after working over 6 hours on it. The phone now works great and I can't say enough about Smart Stop and their workmanship. ......the best thing, or one of the best things about this was it only cost me $70.00...... These guys are AMAZING!!!! I stopped by to fix my iPhone that had a broken screen... fixed it with the quickness and wasn't that expensive. I also changed the color of my iPhone to Blue. I had no idea that you could change the color of your iPhone. Anyways there really isn't anything they can't do. I am actually bringing in my laptop so they can take a look at it and see what the problem is. I also can pay for my cell phone bill there.
