I can't speak to their actual service, but I was driving next to one of their vans on the freeway where I was repeatedly cut off and almost hit twice. I would be incredibly concerned and cautious before using this service to drive me anywhere if this is the type of driving that is representative of their service. read more

TLDR customer service sucks, immediately canceled ride as a result :) Unable to confirm pick up with the confirmation number provided to us through email. I provided all information that they requested and they were unable to find my reservation and they told me to call scheduling. Mind you I received a confirmation email which means the reservation should be in their database. Both women I spoke to had quite a bit of attitude and lack of problem solving skills. One woman just put me on hold and then hung up :) Stephanie just tried to argue :) I called back when the scheduling department was open. I called the phone number on the website and asked for the scheduling department; 2 people just transferred me back and forth between each other when I asked for the scheduling department. When I called them out on this the woman on the phone just asked what I needed and was able to help me cancel my ride. And for some reason she was able to look up the reservation with the confirmation number .... read more

Husband booked roundtrip fare from LAX. The shuttle to LAX arrived on time, no issues there. HOWEVER, once we arrived back to LAX from our flight from Kauai, no shuttle in sight. We attempted to call the number multiple times. After almost 3 hours after our pickup time, we were finally able to have someone transport us. We were told the worker forgot they worked that day. read more

The driver of this shuttle van should be fired immediately! Their reckless driving on 6/1/26 could have cost the lives of multiple people. Its highly unacceptable, with a total lack of regard for the lives of others. Based on the company's bad reviews it sounds like they have drivers that are far from being qualified to protect their passengers and others from harm. There's other people who report this same scenario on this company. read more

my husband made a reservation nearly two months prior to our trip and the day we are leaving they had us waiting and waiting until we called them and nobody was coming so we asked for a back up way a taxi voice mail full. we drove ourselves to the dingbdsng airport and we will never use this place again unreliable and horrible to leave someone to figure out their transportation to the airport. the place is not worth it read more

I booked a couple of trips for me and my wife, and there days later I had yet to receive anything from them - no confirmation, no emails, nothing! I called two days later to check, and their attendant (Alexis) was not only extremely rude, but told me to look for another service and hung up on me. Since my CC had already been charged I had to call again to make sure my reservation was cancelled and properly refunded, and also because I wanted to make sure a manager heard about this poor and inappropriate customer service - only to have Alexis (again) deny access to a supervisor/manager and hang up on me again. Terrible/awful service. read more

We got picked up at the airport this past Saturday to be taken home. When we made our reservation, we told them we would have three pieces of luggage. The driver, Reggie, picked us up in a Prius and to make matters worse, there was another passenger with luggage already in the car. Reggie was sarcastic & rude from the beginning of our conversations and it only got worse from there. As he is trying to get our luggage to fit in the back of the Prius, he continually slammed the hatchback door onto our luggage because obviously, three pieces of luggage isn't going to fit in the back of a Prius! After many attempts, he pulls the other passenger's luggage out of the back and slings it between my husband & I in the back seat, causing our carry-ons to ride on our laps for the journey. He rearranged our luggage again and slammed the hatchback door onto the luggage yet again. Then there was the ride. First, he entered and exited the carpool lane illegally. On top of that, Reggie has got to be one of the worst drivers I have ever driven with. The entire way, he put his foot on the gas, causing the car to jerk forward, then seconds later, he took his foot off the gas, causing the car to lag. This driving habit continued the entire way home, both on and off the freeway. I was getting car sick from the constant jerking backward and forward every few seconds. When we finally got home after dropping the other passenger off, after telling Reggie three times which house was ours, he still pulled up to our neighbor's house to let us out. I tried calling Smart Shuttle a couple of times to complain, but the supervisor, Laura, refused to return my phone call. I know I wouldn't want to listen to irate customers all day, which, given our past experiences with door-to-door shuttles, I'm sure that's all she does. read more

We ordered a shuttle for 7 pm and it was changed without our permission to 7:45 pm. The car didn't come until 8:45 pm. The dispatcher said they went to the wrong address - about 25 mins away. The airport was over an hour away and we JUST made the flight. This is the second time I had this problem. The service works well when going from the airport to your final destination. I will NEVER use Smart Shuttle to go to the airport again. read more

Smart Shuttle did what we should have done...Call Lyft. That's right. We had a reservation for a pick up at 10pm at Santa Barbara Airport. When I called to find out where our shuttle was, they put me on hold for 10-minutes and came back saying Eduardo will be there in 9-minutes. It's a black Camry. Eduardo was a nice gent and his 10-year old Camry was clean (although it had that Uber/Lyft smell that if you know, you know.) Had we wanted to use those services we would have. For this company to switch up the arrangements with no notice or refund of the difference is unacceptable. So if you need an airport ride, use another shuttle service or do what Smart Shuttle did...call Uber or Lyft! read more

I found this company on the internet. I left an on-line inquiry asking for a quote. No one ever got back to me. A few days later, I called the business number. A recording came on stating someone would be with me shortly and then background music played and played and played. After waiting for quite a while I decided to hang up. If no one answers the email inquiry or the phone, then this company probably isn't a good choice and its dependability is questionable. read more

Very affordable compared to the other apps. Less than half the price. I got picked up from my hotel in oxnard and dropped off at LAX. It is very hard to get through to this business by phone and when you do, half the time the girl who answers in snippy.

This business is very confusing online. I reserved a shuttle to Burbank airport for my parents. I put in a pickup time and received a confirmation email/ then I find out because it's a shared shuttle ride, they have to be picked up an hour earlier than the time I scheduled. This was not explained anywhere online. Also, I found out the night before the trip that they are being picked up in a Dodge Ram truck and not an actual van. Very confusing and no one explains any of this. I would not recommend and I will not be using them again. read more

That one star is being generous for the great driver we had on the way home. However, his employer Smart Shuttle needs to get their act together. On a recent international trip, I got a phone call 10 minutes before my pick up time, that they would be considerably late because of another client taking too much time in Simi Valley. I am in Camarillo. Then on the way home, (in which I had an 11 hour flight) I received a text the day before, I would have to wait another two hours after my pick up for another client flying in. Needless to say I will not be using Smart Shuttle ever again! read more

This was the first and last time I will use this company. In early July, I purchased a pickup from LAX for my sister while she was vacationing in Europe. The same day I reserved her ride, they called her 8 hours later and cancelled her reservation. However, they still charged my credit card $95. I called 3 weeks straight trying to get my refund. Each time I called I asked to speak to a supervisor however, there was never one available. Finally, 1 month later, I was able to speak to a supervisor, (who was extremely rude) stating I would receive a check in the mail,( famous last words!). I also asked for the manager to call me back so I could file a formal complaint, but I never received a call. My check showed up at my sisters house 4 days later, in her name. I clearly several times told them I paid for the ride. I don't understand why they charged my card and then cancelled the pickup. DO NOT use this company. They have very rude management, extremely poor customer service and their business practices are backwards. I would give them a "0" if I could. Denise C. read more

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! I should have read the reviews before booking; buyer beware! My ride to LAX was scary enough - the driver was speeding the entire way to make up for lost time. The second group of people he picked up took FOREVER to get their sh*t together, which put him behind schedule. Instead of politely telling them he was on a schedule as he should have, he said nothing. We spent nearly 35 minutes waiting before getting on the road. Coming home, I had a confirmed pick-up time of 8:00 pm. At 8:30, I called the company to ask where the driver was, since he was so late. After not answering the phone for a solid 5 minutes, the girl who answered said he was only 10 minutes away. 15 minutes later, I get a text from the driver, Tom, saying he's "on his way into the airport". At 9:26 pm, he finally pulls up and says nothing. I didn't hold back and asked him WTF the holdup was, since he was 1.5 hours late and that I had a CONFIRMED pick-up time. He gave some bullshit excuse, implying it was my fault for not calling the company after my flight landed. I asked the second passenger picked up if he was late, and she was just as ticked for the same reason. When SHE called the company, they NEVER answered the phone. I'm never using this company again and highly recommend anyone just hire an Uber or other service. Their other YELP reviews are worse than mine! They deserve ZERO stars. read more

Smart Shuttle - Airport Shuttles Near Me - Camarillo, California

We just thought you should know that the recent service we received from Smart Shuttle was horrible. Completely unacceptable, in fact. On the trip TO the airport the driver was 20 min. late and instead of calling me, he was calling his next pick-up thinking he was calling me. I looked for a typical shuttle and just saw a regular car sitting in front of our house. Instead of coming to the door he continued to call the wrong person, which took extra time. I eventually walked out to the car and asked him if I could help him with anything and he said he was with Smart Shuttle. It was only then that I knew that this was my ride to the airport. It wouldn't have been too hard for someone from Smart Shuttle customer service to call me and let me know that I would be looking out for a car rather than the standard Shuttle bus, either. On the trip FROM the airport, I received a call (voicemail) from Smart Shuttle customer service that confirmed that we were to be picked up at 9:21. We waited on the curb for 40 min. before finally being picked up. We called customer service 3 times during that time and was told that the driver was "in traffic." Where we were standing there was no more traffic other than the outside lanes of moving traffic as most everyone who deplaned with us had been picked up by then. When the Smart Shuttle finally arrived it was filthy, the seats were stained, and it smelled like stale cigarette smoke. We got excuses and the driver pointed to the outside moving traffic and said to me "what about that isn't traffic?" We then had to wait for two more pick-ups that were to come in much later than our flights so we parked at one of the airports parking lots and waited another 40 minutes. The scheduling by the Smart Shuttle office was terrible and after traveling from out of country, we were exhausted and just wanted to go home. I also noticed that as we drove through the airport, rather than using the moving traffic lanes to get around to another airline's pickup area, the driver stayed in the second pickup lane, which was barely moving and took forever to get halfway across the airport to the other airline. We finally got going to Simi Valley (we live in Camarillo) to drop off two of the other passengers and once we arrived at the address, we couldn't get into the gated community for about 15 min. Then, on our way to Camarillo, or so we thought, the driver pulled off the freeway in Newbury Park to a different address and once we were at that address, the driver called out the passenger's name, who was on the shuttle, but she said, "I don't live here, I live in Ventura." Nobody on the shuttle lived at that address. When we finally got home it was a little after 1:30 am. It took us over 4 hours to get home using Smart Shuttle. Never again! We were beyond frustrated at the incompetence of both the Smart Shuttle customer service's worst route scheduling ever, incompetent drivers, and the shuttle itself in such sloppy condition. We will NEVER use Smart Shuttle again! For the record, we really miss Roadrunner Shuttle service. We'd used them for years and NEVER had even closet to this kind of experience. They were the best!! What a huge contrast! read more

I wish I could give them negative stars. I can't believe I paid $100 for this terrible service. I've been waiting almost an hour and a half. I have been outside on the corner for 30 minutes over my promised pickup time now at LAX at 6:30am. I am extremely frustrated and would love nothing more than a refund and new ride home right now. I might call and ask for a refund to just take Uber instead because this is ridiculous. DONT Waste your time and money. Update: Just got picked up by them (FINALLY), and they were 45 MINUTES LATE. I was the ONLY person picked up at LAX. Such a waste of my time and money. Super disappointed with this company read more

I want to start this off by saying that most of this stuff is not the fault of the drivers. In fact, our first driver was fantastic, and really impressed me by how he was able to cram all our stuff into the miniscule car they sent. So, the trip to the airport was 2 adults and a child in a carseat, with 3 suitcases and a stroller. They sent the driver in a Toyota corolla. I reserved over the phone, and explained that we needed a lot of space. Once we were in it was fine, the driver was lovely and helpful. Our return trip was for 3 adults and a child in a carseat, a stroller, and SIX bags. I was hopeful that they would send one of their vans. Or at least a large suv with plenty of cargo space. We got a Ford explorer with 2nd row captains chairs, and a 2 seater 3rd row, and about a foot deep of cargo space. So my grown ass husband and I had to clamber into this tiny backseat, because all our luggage had to go in the passenger seat. What made them think they could fit that many bags without putting the rear seats down is beyond me. This was their second chance with me, as the first time I used them, they quoted me $350 for the round trip and charged me $390 each way. I had no luck trying to get them to refund me. I hoped that since we are farther out of the pandemic that things would be better, so I booked with them again because they were the most reasonably priced. But never again. read more

Where do I begin...... I booked a round trip to the airport. Received confirmation on my trip to the airport. I was expecting a shuttle bus/van; but in fact I had a Lyft driver pick me up. Today 8/15/2022, sitting at Orlando airport checking to see that I had a shuttle confirmation for my ride home. I contacted the shuttle company. The agent answered and said my reservation was not accepted and canceled by Laura the manager. No further explanation was given. Just that an email was sent. But I never received an email for the cancellation. PLUS.... No one could help and the manager is out till next week on vacation. NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE THIS SERVICE nor will I recommend. READ THE REVIEWS THEY ARE TRUE. This company made my Christmas travel horrible. They left us at LAX, no call no show. I had two kids who are 5 and 6 with me stranded at the airport on CHRISTMAS DAY! I included two photos which show my confirmation with them which states our plane arrives at 11:23am. That email was sent on December 20, 2019. On December 25th, 2019 they sent an email with the wrong pick up time. They changed it to 10:53am which if they looked at our flight information we gave it never stated that. I called and called and called the number provided on December 25th, 2019. No answer and no one every called to say they were at LAX to pick us up. We had to make other arrangements on Christmas Day to get home and also waste 3 hours to even get out of the airport. We called and eventually were able to get a refund and supposedly they said they were at the airport at 10:59am to pick up when they absolutely knew we would have still been on a plane due to they had the email from the 20th with the correct time. Absolutely terrible customer service. I would not use this shuttle service based on the way they treat customers. I understand if you choose the group shuttle they have to adjust your time. We couldn't make the new time they adjusted us to (1 1/2 hours before we would requested to leave) so we complied with the cancellation time. It took two calls just to get a confirmation email that I canceled in time. But then they refused to refund my money.
