If you are flying out or into LAX but live in Santa Barbara and do not want to drive to airport in LA traffic or leave your car on some lot that charges way to much per day. I found the answer. My husband and I decided to try SB Airbus from LAX to Santa Barbara after flying in from Minneapolis. What a great way to go. Great service, comfortable seats, comfortable ride. After your cramped flight sit back relax in air conditioning, with plenty of leg room and leave the driving to the very friendly and capable drivers. Easy and convenient. Easy to find pick up signs and easy to buy ticket ahead on line. Discount if you buy 48 hours in advance. We will definitely use this service again. Thanks Santa Barbara Airbus.

At this point in time, the airbus is less than going to LAX with your car and parking. When you add the gas, maintenance for miles, and parking fees, the round trip price on the airbus is better than the headache and bill from driving your own car. Yes, it may take a little longer since there are a few pickup stops, but you get to lay back and enjoy the ride without worrying about traffic and you know when you will get there. The buses are easy to book online and staff are always nice.

The Santa Barbara Airbus was a lifesaver today! After arriving to SBA with less than 45 minutes to our plane departure (though truthfully with 5 minutes to spare yet the front baggage check systems were down), United had to rebook us on a later flight to Knoxville, TN. Instead of have a triple leg, all day flight leaving out of Santa Barbara, we looked at options to fly out of LAX. With an LAX departure, we then would have the dreaded LA morning rush hour drive plus the need to pay for overpriced airport parking. We looked up the Airbus schedule and they had a bus from Goleta to LAX departing just half an hour later. We took an Uber from SBA to the Airbus station, purchased our e-tickets on their website, and we're on a bus to LAX before we knew it! The Airbus offers affordable parking on-site if you need to leave your car there. You don't have the stress of driving to LAX, the pricey parking, and we can still fly back home to SBA without changing our return flight. The Airbus Goleta station has clean restrooms and a water/snack bar honor system. The staff was extremely friendly at the front desk and Rick our driver made us feel better about the situation. Since we were smiling at 5:00 AM, so was he. The bus is very clean, quiet, and has a bathroom and complimentary Wi-Fi. Although our day is longer, we have saved ourselves from more stress and we get to enjoy the sunrise while riding along the PCH.

I was at terminal 1 at LAX around 12:30PM today, one of your driver's proceeded to block my car in and refused to move. We realized we were parked in the wrong area and were trying to move as quickly as possible, but in his opinion we were "taking to long". Your driver was very rude and unprofessional, I was about to call the police. I attempted to call your 800 number, but they were just as rude. Please try and hire people with a little more professionalism.

Unfortunately, it ended up being one of the more disappointing parts of the trip. The seating is tightly packed. I understand maximizing capacity, but at 6'6" it was not comfortable. We moved to the front right side where there is a sideways bench behind the driver, which offered more legroom. That felt like a smart move until we realized most of the sights being pointed out were on the left side of the trolley. It felt like about 80 percent of the tour was oriented that direction, which meant we were constantly twisting around and still missing details. If you book this tour, sit on the left side. The narration also felt disorganized. The driver mentioned he was reading the traffic flow incorrectly and ended up doing much of the route "backwards." Because of that, he would introduce a historical figure or landmark, then later circle back and partially repeat the same information when reaching his usual talking point. There was noticeable repetition and filler instead of a smooth, cohesive storyline. Midway through the tour, there is a stop at Mission Santa Barbara for about 15 minutes. While it is nice to get off and stretch your legs, 15 minutes is nowhere near enough time to meaningfully experience the mission. You can walk through the courtyard and take a few photos, but that is about it. The mission deserves more time than a quick pass through. In practice, the stop felt more like a checkbox than a real opportunity to explore. Another frustration was departure time. The 2:00 p.m. tour did not leave at 2:00. The driver waited past the scheduled time to see if additional passengers would join. When you are visiting from out of town and carefully stacking your schedule, those extra 10 to 15 minutes matter. Overall, for about $30 per person, I expected a more polished and better organized experience. We both left disappointed. If you want a meaningful introduction to Santa Barbara, you may be better off exploring key spots on your own at your own pace.

It's a school bus that has been redone on the inside to provide you ample with space and room to hang out and relax during your trip. Also the seats have been moved to face inward so that you can hangout and talk to people with ease. Second the owners. The owners are simply amazing. They were so nice. They made you feel welcomed the minute you board that bus. And what can I say about meatball. That bulldog is hands down the best bulldog ever. On our trip we went to 4 breweries. They all we really nice and they provide you with more than enough beer to satisfy your cravings. We started off at Ventura then went to Carpinteria and finally ended at Santa Barbara. I will definitely be back. This was a fun experience. I can't wait til I board again

My boyfriend and I (he was the one that convinced me to go!) met at the start location to get a ride from Santa Clarita to Ventura.( They said they have tours that start in Ventura as well.) We drive up and see this amazing modified school bus. This bus stands out in the best of ways. We saw one of the owners standing outside the bus, she greeted us and then we went on inside this beast of a bus. The inside is even cooler! I swear, I have no other way of explaining other than it's like a limo. The seats are facing each other so it's easier to have conversations. The lighting is so chill, I was already excited. As we walked in, the other owner welcomed us aboard the awesome brew bus and we took the last seats next to each other. When we sat down we met their most wonderful mascot the english bulldog, Meatball. He was so nice and well-behaved. ( I figured mascot as they have meatballs face on their awesomely designed bus) The ride up wasn't long and they played nice music so it went by even faster. Once we arrived, we found ourselves at the Anacapa Brewing Company where we officially met everyone on the tour. We were given a flight of tasters. It was perfect because I love trying all kinds of beers, but not a whole pint each. Once everyone got the flights on the table, everyone started talking to each other. So any sense of awkwardness i had, disappeared at that moment. Were then boarded the bus and all headed Surf Brewery, which was another great place. Different tasting beers than the first place and another great atmosphere. We were given a piece of paper with 4 beers to choose from for your flight. We chatted it up with other people that were on the bus and we were just saying how much fun this was. The third place we went to was in Carpinteria called Island Brewing Company. When we walked up to this place, you can see the train tracks and a beautiful view of the sky slowly setting. We got to have a tour of how the beer is made there and loved being able to go behind the scenes. After we were given our flights of beer, we went outside were we could put our beer down and watch the sunset. As the sun was almost down, we went onto the bus for one last place. Pure Order Brewing Company in Santa Barbara which was not far at all from where we were. We hopped off the bus to find we were in a pimped out garage with such a cool backyard with games to just chill and hang out. We were given our last flight of beer. They were good too. What I realized was whether you go with someone or just by yourself, you will have a good time. For a day, you get to hang out with a group of people that just want to have fun and enjoy all kinds of different beer. The owners are amazing and you can tell how much they want us to have fun and stress free. I will definitely be going on this again. They told us that they have other breweries on their tour as well, which I thought was super cool. Consider me a fan guys, I've officially warmed up to beer thanks to Brew Bus 101.
