Well i dropped my iPhone 6s like most of us do and of course with my luck it cracks after having it for only a few months. So was at the brea mall and was going to get it fixed at the apple but you had to make an appointment and it was gonna take a few hours. So I thought I'd give the guys upstairs at smart fix a try. A very nice gentle man named Andy helped me out and had my screen done within 20mins, much better than the few hours at Apple. The first time I got it back the home button was a little stiff but they fixed it back to normal with in a minute. My guess is maybe the alignment was off but it's all good now. My screen is all back to normal again. I didn't notice a slight purple tint to the whites of the new screen but it's not that big a deal to me. Probably from the after market screen. All in all though great experience Andy and the other guys there were very helpful id go back again if I ever have another accident. Knock on wood. read more

9/20/19 bought a new screen and protector for my iPhone X and told it came with a lifetime guarantee ($150.) On 10/13 I returned since the new screen was now not compatible with the new iOS 13. Told that they were aware of problem and would exchange it but since he was able to find also some pixels not working on my undamaged phone I would have to pay him an additional $50. By far the worst place to get your phone fixed. I paid 100 dollars for a new screen and about one month later my lcd started malfunctioning. I noticed that the screen they placed started popping out and that obviously the way this new screen was placed was incorrect. I went back and showed them the issue and they said that it was my fault. They told me I would have to pay again for them to fix it. This would have never happened if they placed the screen on correctly. DO NOT I repeat DO NOT go to this place to get your phone fixed. There service is horrible and they've cost me over 250 dollars in repairs. They're 6 month warranty is a scam and they will try every possible excuse not to fix your phone. read more

I cracked my screen on my iPhone 6 so I took it to the Apple store they were going to charge me $139 and take two hours to fix it, I agreed to leave it but as soon as I walked out I saw smart fix I approached Younis who was extremely knowledgeable and very courteous, I explain my situation to him and he told me he would be able to fix my phone in less than 15 minutes for $80 so I ran back to get my phone from Apple care and had Younis fix it! Customers BEWARE! If I could give this place a 0 star review, I would. I brought my phone here initially because I had damaged it and needed a screen repair. The first job seemed too good to be true, which I quickly realized when I had returned a few weeks later. The saturation on my screen was completely off and the touch stopped working entirely. I was told there was a 3mo. Warranty so I brought it back. When returning I was treated so poorly and disrespectfully. The rude man continuously told me my phone was damaged and he couldn't fix it. No shit it was damaged, I had damaged it previously and came to him for a repair. During that time and now my phone was not damaged in any way. I was given so much attitude and he tried to steal my receipt so that I couldn't come back should I have the same issue again. It seems like a deal, but honestly the place located right down stairs deserves your money and will do a way better job than these scam artists! The minute I got home my phone was rejecting the screen parts again. WORST REPAIR EVER! read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY They are selling Iphone 8 screens that they are aware are not working with the apple phone. Look at the other post on here to see what is going on. I had them replace my screen that was cracked. Everything was working fine with my cracked screen. They replaced it with the more expensive choices at $120 and it kept freezing up and would need to be reset to make it work again. I went back and he said it was my phone not the screen. I took it down to apple and had them check it out and the phone was fine. I had smart fix remove and install another one, this time I sat and watched them do it and it was the same thing. I asked for my money back and they refused, I gave them back the screen and disputed the charge. I reported them to Simon the mall owner and they gave me the owner shawn number I called and left a message no call back. I had the screen replaced at apple for $150 and it works like new.. spend the extra $30 and save hours of wasted time. These guys are ripping people off and could really care less. read more

*Late review because I didn't have a yelp account before** I wish I had read the negative reviews before taking my phone here!! I took my IPhone 7 Plus to Smart Fix on Saturday 11/4/17. It was quick and easy maybe 30 minutes tops. However, when I tried using my phone after leaving I realized the touch screen was not working correctly and it had more issues than it did when it was shattered. I called Smart Fix and they told me to bring it back to them. So I did, I took it back the next morning (Sunday), and the owner/manager said that I needed to update my phone to the latest update because that was causing the lag with my touch screen (Mind you I had no issues with the touch screen at all even with a shattered screen without the update before I brought my phone to Smart Fix) but he agreed that he would replace the screen for me again. Another 30 min or so and my phone was done, but this time the screen wasn't even on correctly, my home button was not flush with the screen. I pointed this out to the manager and he blamed it on my phone being bent...my phone was not bent at all. He however agreed to fix it and said to give him another 20 min or so. I finally got my phone back for the 3rd time and it seemed to be working okay. Not after long I realized there was still glitches with the touch screen and a huge lag that was not happening before I took it to Smart Fix. So today Monday 11/6/17 I took my phone back again, the young man working agreed to swap the screen out for a 4th time! took him about 20 minutes, and I got it back. This time i stayed at the kiosk before leaving to test it, and what do you know, the same lag and same glitches. I advised him I wanted a refund, he said he couldn't give me a refund unless his manager was there and that he wasn't going to be in until tomorrow (Tuesday) and to come back then. I tried to use my phone a little more but came to see that it was worse than it was before he swapped the screen the 4th time. I told him that this was not okay and I am not waiting for a manager to get my money back, and that I wasn't leaving until I got my money back. He said the only way he could do that was if he swapped out the new screen he gave me for my old shattered screen (which they surprisingly still had). So I said fine do it, and he put my old screen back on. Needless today I got my money back after 4 swapped screens and now have my old shattered screen back on my phone that actually works better than any of the screens they put on and has NO LAG AND NO GLITCHES. Don't waste your money or time with this place! Shady! Now I will be taking my phone to apple. read more

Service here is quick and excellent. There are multiple places to fix your phone at brea mall but this place is the cheapest and they're quick. I came in today and expected my broken screen to take at least an hour or two but they repaired it in 15 mins at a reasonable price.
