Initially he kept saying he would set up shipment and I shouldn't worry, but then he went silent and stopped replying to my emails and voicemails. I got through once and was told "I'll call you back in just one minute" but he did not call back. I was stuck with a car that got delayed for over a month. What they do is give you a quote they don't necessarily intend to honor, then check to see if someone else can do the job for less and they pocket the difference. If not, then they just ghost you. You'd be better off going with the actual shipper, or on a service where they will hold shippers to their bids. Bottom line, they are time wasters and can't be trusted.

He was easy to talk too and just genuinely nice! I made an appointment for a few weeks out. When I put the address into my GPS and it brought me straight there! I called because I wasn't sure where to park and they gave me great instructions. I decided to wait with my because they told me that it would only take an hour. They had a water machine, coffee and a little sitting place! I loved that because I was able to get coffee and do some work. The only thing I would recommend is update the creamer lol! The staff was very nice and accommodating I got to see all of them in their element, they were so respective to the clients and everyone that walked through! It felt like home there. All of the staff members seemed knowledgeable, I was able to get my breaks fixed with little to no hassle! The bathroom was also very clean! The place was as clean as it could be for a business that works on cars! So grateful that I came looking forward to getting everything on my car done here!

When I moved across the country nine years ago, one of the first things I needed was a reliable,…read morehonest mechanic -- and thanks to a string of solid referrals, I found exactly that at Frantz Auto in Cary. Over the years, they've gotten to know my family and our vehicles well. They've always been clear about what needs fixing now versus what can wait -- something I really appreciate in a shop. No pressure, just honest advice. Most recently, I brought in our 2014 Mazda CX-5 for a North Carolina safety inspection so I could get it registered. While there, I mentioned a pretty annoying AC condensation issue that was flooding the passenger-side footwell. I'd already tracked down one clogged hose thanks to YouTube, but the other one was buried near the firewall and out of reach. They cleared both hoses quickly and affordably -- problem solved. A few months earlier, they also helped with my son's car, doing an inspection and tune-up following his motorcycle accident back in December. Their kindness and professionalism during that time meant a lot to our family. The Frantz family is truly amazing, and I recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy, no-nonsense auto shop in the area. Can't say enough good things.

If you value your time, money, and sanity, STAY AWAY from this shady business. AMS Sales is the epitome of a crooked dealership.

As far as the actual moving goes, yes, they can lift and move your belongings just fine. My issue was with furniture assembly. Before the move, I specifically spoke with them over the phone and explained that some furniture had been disassembled by my movers in Tucson and would need to be assembled at the destination. They said that was fine. Then, during the move, they suddenly threw in the possibility that they wouldn't assemble some of it because they didn't want to take on the liability. That was frustrating. If you've discussed the requirement beforehand and the company has agreed to it, bringing up a new limitation once the move is already underway puts the customer in a difficult position. The whole reason for discussing these things upfront is to avoid exactly that kind of surprise. To their credit, they did ultimately assemble the furniture, so it worked out. But I'd strongly recommend getting confirmation about assembly beforehand--and preferably in writing. And keep your own tab on the time.
