They also stopped on the way at a furniture store and picked up additional furniture. Drove to my new location and unloaded everything in less than 2 hours. Travis is an absolute professional and strategic in placing items in the truck to maximize usage. Bruce is a joy and charming as charming can be. Quan is an absolute gentleman and wrapped everything meticulously. These guys are awesome. I could not have made this move without them.

However, there were lighting fixtures lining the sidewalk that they pulled and after the fact, I noticed some of the stakes were broken. These were left piled up and not re-inserted in ground. The crew was definitely in a hurry to leave.

Everything had to come off the wood floors from kitchen, breakfast area, dining room, living room, hallway etc. They also moved furniture away from walls in other rooms so trim could be cleaned and then painted. Both men were very conscientous of our belongings and treated them with great care. All furniture, refrigerator and gas stove were carefully placed in our garage. As serious as they were with moving carefully and quickly they both have a friendly & approachable demeanor. Answering questions and keeping it light made for an enjoyable experience. I had to store a bunch of boxed items for a while, and this facility was less than 10 minutes from…read moremy house. I ended up getting a 6' X 10' climate controlled space. The indoor part of the facility used to be a supermarket or department store, so it is quite large. The whole place is clean, well lit, and the air conditioning is better than I expected. Nicely cool in the summer, and comfortably warm in the winter. My unit was on the end, right near the curbside door, but I noticed looking down the aisles that they are very wide, if you wanted to access your unit while the tenant across did the same, there would be no problem. The roll-up door worked smoothly, and the built-in lock eliminates having to buy or supply a padlock. There are always plenty of flatbed carts available. Not 24 hour access, but you can get in 7:30 am to 10 pm every day, holidays included. Office staff very friendly and helpful, and the managers live onsite. Even when the office was closed, a few times when I went to my unit, I saw one of the managers, so they don't close up the office and disappear. Although I didn't have a need for it, I noticed they have plenty of room for outside storage (like vehicles & equipment) and again, it is clean and well organized. If I ever need storage again, I will definitely return here.

Then the morning they were to unload the truck we received a notification that they would not be able to make it on time and would let us know when they would arrive. A couple of hours went by with no word . Our rental truck needed to be returned so we made other arrangements and canceled the service and requested a refund. We have tried to reach out to them several times and they have not responded or refunded our money. Luckily, we did not Venmo them payment as he strongly encouraged us to do because we are now having to dispute the charges snd are credit card company is investigating. The young men who loaded are truck were friendly, efficient . however DO NOT trust Demitrius Jackson, the owner.

Initially he kept saying he would set up shipment and I shouldn't worry, but then he went silent and stopped replying to my emails and voicemails. I got through once and was told "I'll call you back in just one minute" but he did not call back. I was stuck with a car that got delayed for over a month. What they do is give you a quote they don't necessarily intend to honor, then check to see if someone else can do the job for less and they pocket the difference. If not, then they just ghost you. You'd be better off going with the actual shipper, or on a service where they will hold shippers to their bids. Bottom line, they are time wasters and can't be trusted.
