This was such a cute little spot, and if you're not looking, you'll pass right by it! The bartender was super awesome, very easy going, and very personable with every guest that came through. I love the idea of a small bar that you can pop into to grab a bevvy and keep walking along Duval. I asked him for a recommendation for a virgin pina colada or daquiri and he gave me two great recommendations. If you're in the area, which you will be if you're in Key West, swing by and grab a drank!

This bar is a icon in Key West. Fits 4 people. A perfect spot for a photo. They serve beer and drinks. Friendly staff. Located on the Duval street. Cute place.

They did not lie! It's about the size of a small storage unit in the middle of Key West in between two bars with enough room for about five people! They do have some tasty drinks, which is what everybody wants when you go into a bar.

My Key West trips multiple times a year would not be the same without stopping at the Smallest Bar. The name Small really does not give it justice. Literally ten people can fit into this room with a tiny liquor bar and one bartender. It's so tight that you feel the sweat from other people - ewe. I always get a bartenders choice shot here. To find it look for the yellow awning on Duval Street.

A Tiny Bar with a Big Personality - The Smallest Bar in Key West, FL Tucked between two buildings on Duval Street, The Smallest Bar in Key West lives up to its name -- and yet, it delivers a full-sized experience packed with charm, character, and good times. It's not just a quirky novelty; it's a genuinely fun place to stop for a drink and a laugh while exploring Old Town. There's barely room for more than a few people inside (literally, it's about the size of a walk-in closet), but that's part of the fun. The bartender is usually just steps away from everyone, and the atmosphere is light, friendly, and inviting -- the kind of place where you'll end up chatting with strangers and maybe even making a few new friends. The drink menu is simple but solid. They've got all the essentials -- ice-cold beers, margaritas, mojitos, and classic tropical cocktails served with a smile. It's a great place for a quick refreshment while bar hopping down Duval or waiting for sunset at Mallory Square. There's also something undeniably Key West about this place. It's laid-back, a little offbeat, and full of character -- a perfect reflection of the island's quirky charm. It may be small in size, but it's huge in personality.

This is just a place you have to stop at when in key west, even if it's just for one visit. Service is good, drinks are cold, and it's a great spot for a photo op.

Who is giving this place less than 5 stars? Must've not wanted the smallest bar ;) nice quick spot to stop by for a quick drink on a hot day.

Super fun spot!!!!! You must get the key lime pie shot! The bartender helped us find our next drink at a hidden hole in the wall on the way to our dinner Res. We enjoyed it so much, we went two days in a row!

THERAGINGFORK.com Ok. This one was interesting. While in Key West FL on the legendary duval Street, I entered The Smallest Bar. We were able to squeeze in several customers. The drinks were average but the atmosphere was worth it. Always a fun stop if visiting the Keys. Lots of great pictures and laughs. So, go for the fun and do not expect an expert bartender, although she was very fun and inviting, or high end drinks. Did not see any food so unsure about that. Will surely return.

There was live music playing, pool tables, and even some video games, so there's plenty to keep you and the family entertained while you hang out. Kids are allowed in, but they aren't allowed to sit at the bar. It definitely feels like one of those places where you can lose track of time in the best way. They also have a merch area with hoodies, stickers, and other souvenirs if you want to take a little piece of the experience home. And knowing it's one of the oldest bars in the Keys just adds to the charm and history of the place. The service was quick, you walk up to the bar and order then find a place to sit. Super chill and laid back. One fun thing you have to try is tossing a quarter into the fish's mouth outside... test your luck and see if you can land it! Can't forget the drinks! The rum punch is to die for... super refreshing and perfect for the Key West heat. Overall, such a fun stop if you're in town. Definitely worth checking out! Fun fact: - it used to be a morgue and ice house back in the day. it also used to be the original home of Sloppy Joes, before they moved to Duvall St.

Of course it is an attraction because it is supposedly the original Sloppy Joes where Ernest Hemingway hung out. It is dark inside with low ceilings. It's a dive bar through and through but I happen to be a big fan of dive bars! However, this one fell flat on it's face with the service. I wouldn't say the place was packed but there were not any open seats at the bar. I posted up the best I could but for the better part of 15 minutes both bartenders didn't even come to my side of the bar. I then moved to the other side and waited another 10 minutes to be served (at which point the bartender said "Didn't I just serve you?" Um, no, you most definitely did not. This place has two saving graces: 1) A water jug full of cold water for the taking, off in the corner. Love that. 2) A popcorn machine that had DELICIOUS popcorn! YES. If you can manage to get a beverage then I think you won't mind Green Parrot's (very) relaxed atmosphere and delightful little perks. My takeaway is for the staff to mix in some work to go along with their chatting with the regulars...
