I really like the staff here, they seem so passionate about their jobs. I have to say though, I wish they had space inside for tables. Something about outdoor tables kind of bother me, but their cupcakes make up for it. A bit pricey but good either way. It's great for days you want to treat yourself or get someone a last minute present that they will enjoy. I really love their flavors and how they post different flavors on their Facebook. They do a really good job of keeping it fresh, and the cake has a good consistency. The icing is delicious, and I usually hate icing! I get it's an opening shift on Monday, but geez fake it until you make it. No thank you, no greeting no acknowledgment nothing when you call OR walk in. I worked at a bakery for over 5 years during my academic years and honestly customer service is expected so I expect the bare minimum because I get it. I got NONE of that. She looked at me like why I was even there? Rude attitude and face everything. When I asked if you seriously only got 1 set of sprinkles for this entire decorating kit after I received my order, she just looked at me. I asked her what other toppings they offered and she barely angrily muttered out what they had. Grouchy. Self Decorating Cupcake Kit - 0/5 RIP OFF. 6 bare cupcakes and 1 set of sprinkles for about $30? I get it's a business and you need profits but this is the saddest cupcake decorating kit I've seen out of all the Houston area businesses. When I ordered, I expected a similar cupcake decorating kit featured in their glamorous photos on Facebook. This is NOT what I saw pictured. I am a customer, inform me about your product. When I called, they asked if I wanted sprinkles and I said yes please include whatever all other toppings I can get included in this package. I didn't realize this meant 1 topping sprinkles only. If you plan to order this cupcake decorating kit, you better check your box before you leave and MAKE IT SUPER CLEAR you want other toppings by naming specifically whatever you want because they're not gonna tell you what toppings they have even when you ask. Product knowledge on behalf of their workers seems to be lacking. You're gonna get the BARE minimum if you're not going to specify. At least that's more than what their customer service offered. Regular Frosted Cupcakes - this is honestly the only reason why I gave them 3 stars. Their cupcakes has been my go to over the years including their ice cream. I've never had an issue with their business until as of most recently when I tried making my order with them. Curbside - store must be ENTIRELY empty before they will pick up any phone calls or be able to bring an order to your car to social distance during this time period. So if there is one customer coming in randomly one spaced apart after the other leaves, just park or you're not gonna get your order. If there's just one customer, nah you're getting that full Voicemail box until the store is ENTIRELY empty. Just go inside, the curbside is a nice little touch that doesn't work for their business. Overall? I can go to pearland parkway if I seriously want small cakes since it's equal distance for me either way. Or just go to a Houston area bakery cause I clearly get more for my buck. read more

These are some great cupcakes! I live in the DC area, which has some amazing cupcake places (Baked and Wired, Georgetown Cupcakes). On my recent visit back home to Pearland, I was told about this place. What a pleasant surprise! I tried lemon, orange, chocolate fudge, and red velvet. All of them were delicious! The buttercream frosting on these cakes (excluding the red velvet) is one of the best I've tasted, and the cake has just the right moisture. Thank you Smallcakes for these amazing treats! read more

Great location at the town center. We showed up 10 minutes before closing and got served right away. We ordered the lemon drop cupcake and the peanut butter cupcake. Both were good, but it's still your normal "run of the mill" cupcake shop. I guess I was expecting a more lively experience? I'm not sure. It's a very small store with just a few seats. You can buy drinks and thy also served ice cream. You can collect points to earn free cupcakes. They do cater if I remember correctly and can order large amounts for parties. My only concern was the cupcakes tasted a little artificial. I know it's difficult to get natural flavor in baked goods especially icing and cake, but it was a little over the top. The pricing is average too. 2 cupcakes are about 8 dollars. I wish the town center would get more places where you can stop and take a break and enjoy the area. This place is a step in the right direction. I'd like to see more unique and more variety of cupcakes and I'll probably give more stars. read more

I have heard so many wonderful things about this location. I happened to be leaving out of James Avery and decided to stop to see what all the fuss is about. When I entered the store I was greeted warmly by the employees as well as the artwork that pops off of the wall. I love the black and white wall as well as the pink wall that makes a very bold statement. The cupcakes better on display made me want to purchase them all because they look so du Lac tble. There were several varieties of cupcakes to choose from. There were also a dozen cupcakes for $20 that were left over from the night before. That deal was too good to pass up. I left with a variety of cupcakes from lemon drop, strawberry, Red Velvet, and birthday cake. Today, they were giving out free mimosas for Mother's Day. There was also a free photo booth set up outside to take a picture with either your children, by yourself, or with your cupcakes; I like the added touch. I did not make it to the car before I decided to take a bite out of the strawberry cupcake. When I tell you melt-in-your-mouth, this cupcake was one of the best most moist cupcakes I have ever tasted. It was so rich in flavor and it exceeded my expectations. I was skeptical about the icing because I have never had strawberry icing but it was the bomb especially since it was topped with a slice of fresh strawberry which was very tasty and sweet. My daughter decided to go with the birthday cupcake which has different colored sprinkles on top her response was, "Oh my God Mom it is so good." My oldest daughter tried the strawberry vanilla and she loved it as well. We were very pleased and will return for another visit. read more

I came to this lovely small bakery on a Monday afternoon, and I am so glad that I stopped by this location. Since I follow a healthy lifestyle, I came here to treat myself and to write this review lol!! To begin with, the customer service was superb! The young man working on this day was alone, but he was patient with all the customers. He answered everyone's questions in regards to the flavors of the cupcakes and catering questions. I have a seasonal flavor entitled Caramel Latte. Whew!!! Can you say delicious? The cake was super moist and the icing/caramel topping was good, but I only sampled the topping. In addition, the presentation of the cupcake was super cute because it had caramel topping with whip cream and a little coffee bean on top of it. The shop is very cute and tiny but the cupcakes were not very good. Unlike their name they're very big cupcakes! They're also dry and the red velvet one had a weird spice in it that I just couldn't pin point it. Also the icing over weighs the cupcake and it makes the cupcakes very heavy and hard to hold.
