The carrot cake stood out as one of the best I have had, and the confetti cake was easily one of the best versions we have both tried. The quality really shows. The shop offers ice cream produced by Stamford-based supplier Longford's Ice Cream as well as locally-baked pies and cakes. The shop also features a large selection of nostalgic loose candies; customers can make their own custom goodie bags. A second location opened in Fairfield in 2016. The original Westport location closed its doors in December 2023 due to financial problems caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. My family and I recently visited Saugatuck Sweets for ice cream. We just had lunch next door at Firehouse Deli and thought that ice cream sounded like a good dessert idea. We really liked the interior and their selection of old school candies. After looking over the menu, I ordered a cup of "Peanut Butter Blizzard", my wife ordered a cup of "Mint Oreo Bomb", and our son ordered a cup of "Cookie Monster". We all enjoyed our choices.
