Smallcakes Cupcakery and Creamery is a great dessert place in Clermont, Florida. The staff is friendly and professional and the cupcakes are pretty stellar. It is cool to see these specialty bakeries popping up here in Florida. Bakeries were something I definitely missed when I moved from New Jersey to Florida back in 2001, so these bakeries are welcome additions. I would definitely recommend here. read more

Followed the hype and it was okay. My cupcake tasted like a pillsbury boxed cake, even the frosting. For the price I expected natural flavors, not artificial ones. The mango dessert was meh, nothing wow. It costs $15 dollars and I expected a mango explosion. This was again me jumping in the social media wagon. Two cupcakes and a mango was approx $30. The mango pastry was overly sweet with a slimy texture, closer to mango baby food than anything premium. There was no cake inside, and the outer shell didn't have the crisp, satisfying crunch their videos hype up. It was soft and underwhelming. When you brand something as luxury, you invite higher standards. This didn't come close. I've had similar desserts elsewhere that were bigger, cheaper, and actually tasted refined. They are a remarkable small business! My sister and her husband wanted to surprise us with their new bundle of joys gender so kind of like a "gender reveal" since unfortunately, we live so far apart I live here in Florida and she lives in Arizona. But anyway, back to the company they were so helpful from start to finish. Would highly recommend them to anyone. Their cupcakes were very delicious and very aesthetically pleasing! P.S. This location does an excellent job serving freshly made and nicely decorated cupcakes. My favorite is the Birthday Cake cupcake. It's made simple without a big dollop of frosting so you can really enjoy the moist cake. Unlike some of the other SmallCakes they also sell slushies, lemonade, milk tea and fruit tea. You can add on popping pearls, tapioca boba or almond milk. They also have three toppings..rainbow jelly, cream cheese and pineapple jelly. The girl was nice however you'd think If your advertising boba you would have tapioca, I came 4 hours before closing and she informed me that she didn't have anymore than 1 serving. I wanted to give the other local boba and sweets place a try but I don't think I'll be returning for either the boba or the cupcakes. read more

I had the opportunity to visit Small Cakes Cupcakery in Clermont over the Christmas holidays. I will say it was a pleasurable experience. The cupcakes were eye candy in the sense they looked too good to eat and offered a nice variety. I wound up purchasing $60 worth because I couldn't make up my mind and I didn't regret it one bit.On top of that they were moist, flavorful and worth every penny. Super sad they do not have gluten free unless you preorder!! I was super excited when leaving target to see a small cakes. I had a really good experience with the one in port Saint Lucie And they're gluten free we're to die for. This place is great. Their cupcakes are perfectly moist and could only beat if someone undercut the price, but the taste and consistency are on point. The variety is also excellent. The ice cream is also very good though you could find better assortment of flavors elsewhere. And there's boba too. I didn't know they even existed. Picked them up on our way to daughter's for a visit and wanted to bring a dessert. Nothing special but a good varirty of cupcakes. Cake, OK, icing, OK. A little on the expensive side but then again, all cupcakes are expensive. I previously went to the location in Kissimmee by Margaritaville, a while back, and thought those were better.
