I love frozen custard and there's not many options in Clermont, therefore Ritter's makes for a delightful treat. Service was attentive and friendly. The seating area was clean and I like that there's plenty of tables for guests. The servings are also generous. Cheers ! read more

Ritter's Frozen Custard - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Clermont, Florida

I want to start by saying that the ice cream here is so amazing that no matter what, I'll keep coming back because it's the best I've ever had. I dislike coming in here because the kids are so rude, and maybe she's the owner--I don't know--but she's a bit condescending and rude too. I just ignore it and want to get my ice cream and leave. Today, I bought $33 worth of ice cream. When I asked for my stamp punch card, it looked like the girl went to the back to talk about me and my kids to the other girl sitting there. Then, the other girl came out to look at me. . I just spent a lot of money on ice cream, but I got so fed up realize that these are kids and have the memory of a gold fish, that I walked out, forgetting to want to ask for the 2nd time for my damn stamp card. This isn't the type of parlor where you want to sit down with your family and enjoy it. This is the place where you get your ice cream to gooutside It's not inviting. . It just is what it is. but besides my terrible review about this place this is the number one ice cream. I will drive from Orlando to this ice cream parlor over and over and deal with these people and walk out by $30 worth of ice cream with no stamp card almost half the time. Why do I always have to ask for my Stamp card!?!?! I tipped 4 bucks, I couldn't stand to give her 8 when I could tell she was talking about me. read more

Called to place an order for peanut butter pie and was told no one was available to make one for me. I have always been able to get one of these amazing treats and the young lady was not very helpful. This is very disappointing from this location. It's a little hard to believe that going into the weekend this location doesn't have the products their known for or someone available to make a special order. Very disappointed with this location and their service level! read more

Soft, creamy, and delicious. It was the perfect ratio of toppings to custard, all throughout the sundae. Service was cordial and fast. And it's an old school feel setting. When traveling to this side of town, stopping here for a treat is a new must. read more

Best frozen custard in Clermont. Serving sizes are plentiful. Custard is quite tasty in sundaes! I'm a vanilla guy with nuts & toppings. They have tons of toppings to choose from. read more

Great Italian ice and amazing service! All the grandkids love it!! We will be back soon!

Friendly service. Great custard. I've had a number of flavors and they were all wonderful.

I always tip 20% at every place I've eaten. I think the people working in service deserve it. However, this time I was charged almost 30% tip, which I considered a lot, without my consent. It wasn't until I received the bill in my email that I realized. I wasn't given the option to choose the tip. Just disgraceful service. Sadly, although they have good ice cream, I don't recommend coming to this place. read more

The custard is super creamy which I loved. I got an Oreo glacier. I really liked the flavor, but it needed to be crushed up and mixed much better. There were a few huge chunks of Oreo, and then more than half of it was just regular vanilla custard. I like when it's spread a bit more evenly so you're getting that cookies and cream flavor in almost every bite. read more

I enjoyed this from the food truck. It was a big two scoop sundae, with peanut butter sauce and Reese's crumbles. It was super delicious, and the server was friendly. read more

Yummy, yum, yum frozen custard!! We had a great dinner and really wanted a delicious sweet dessert to follow and I've been eyeing this place for the longest so here we are! Ok, I was very excited to discover this place because usually non big chain joints have delicious eats. Was this a disappointment? Not at all. 3 stars just because it is very average but that's not bad! There just wasn't something that sets this place apart but the frozen custard was very delicious and the staff was super nice! So they have rotational flavors since I asked if they have peanut butter and they only had peanut butter with chocolate, which I ended up getting along with chocolate. It was very delicious and I enjoyed it very much. Price wise, I would say this is not too pricey but it is pricey. A small bowl with two flavors and a cone with two flavors with tip was almost $25. This will be a once in a while something different type of dessert place to go to. read more

I'm going to try and be as objective as possible with my review because I know the franchise owner! This Ritter's is a great location and has been around Clermont since I was in Highschool. They have serviced the community and the city of Clermont for a while and are constantly engaging in service events and community forums. It also helps that the Ice Cream is bomb as well! I personally love going and getting a Glacier with Oreos and Reeses. Although it doesn't have the same "Blizzard Upside Down trick" they are just as good! The prices are not bad at all and other than glaciers, they have a range of other flavors. If you don't see a flavor you like or want, you can call ahead and request another flavor and they will usually have it for the next time you go in. They also have Sundays, cakes and other assorted desert items. Even in this crazy time, they are still open and have a walk in counter that way you can be served. Definitely a great local business with great product! read more

Ritter's Frozen Custard is delicious. They make all their frozen custard and waffle cones daily so there is no chance that you will not love it. We purchased the toffee, chocolate peanut butter and cookies and cream frozen custard. We all picked our favorites and we were all very happy. My second time picking up an order from here for a 3 mile doordash they would not let me pick up the order unless I bought a $3.50 bag that I will literally not use a day in my life as I put the cold orders next to my ac vent, and the first time they just gave me the order. but "it's their policy" to profit on the back of people who help their business serve customers. Was a $7 offer I made 3.50 F this place, cheapest bag ever too read more

As soon as I walked in I felt like I was a bother, which is not the first time I've came there and felt that way. No one said hi to me and it seemed like I was a inconvenience to even be there not sure what her name was but she had blond hair probably in her early 20s but acted like a little teenager. On top of all of that the ice cream tasted like it had been sitting in a fridge for a while, over not a great experience. read more

We were in town for the day and decided to try Ritter's. Overall, very nice place and high quality ice cream. We were there on a Sunday so they were pretty slow. We tried a shake and gelato (cherry, chocolate, and vanilla) and all were great. Definitely worth a stop while in Clermont. Ritter's is a chain with 3 locations in Florida and in a few other states. read more

They are not following any of the social distancing practices (no masks) to ensure the safety of their customers. Very disappointed.

As soon as I took the first bite my heart broke into a thousand pieces. What a disappointment! We ordered the Brownie Sundae and this dessert did not earn that name. There wasn't any brownies in the Sundae, The hot fudge was not hot and it was not fudge it was chocolate syrup. I could've gotten the same quality at McDonalds for $1.00 instead I came here and paid $5+. This is a great ice cream shop if you're desperate but not if you want a true fix. read more

I hope heaven smells like the inside of Ritters. (If it doesn't then I will file a complaint with the main office.) I come here usually once a month or more depending on whether someone is having a birthday... or graduation... or anniversary... or half-birthday (you get the idea). The custard flavors vary with the regular chocolate, vanilla, SF vanilla being the constants. The prices are reasonable and if you sign up for their email club you receive coupons, offers and notifications of new flavors. The service is always super friendly and very efficient. It's always a treat to come here! read more

My boyfriend was apparently a closet Ritter's fan from his Indiana living days. The second he found out that Ritter's had a location within driving distance we were there. I'm not a huge sweets girl but the frozen custard is pretty great. My boyfriend got a glacier, and although upset because they didn't serve it to him upside down, it was quite tasty. I'm sure I'll be back, his craving was barely satisfied... He will drag me back time and time again and I'm ok with that. read more

Thought I'd stop in with family today on Valentine's Day for some custard. I never tried this place but heard good things about the custards. Management apparently sucks here if they can't even serve the options available on their menu. They have like 7 custard flavors out of the 20+ they advertise. On top of also not having some of the Italian ice flavors. Settled for some random pick just to not have to be awkwardly ordering anymore and not ruin family's time. I Will not be back. read more

Caramel cashew frozen custard. Drooool. Sounds like something I'd create in a dream. Tasted like a rich, velvety dream. Sweet as a dream. I am in love! OK, it's more than a bit of a drive to get here, but, really, it's mos def worth it. They also serve Italian ice which the owner most graciously gave our party a generous sample of. It's just as dreamy! read more
